SIM.DE are affordable and reliable
SIM.DE are affordable and reliable! They just bumped my volume to 40GB just because I am their customer for some time. Never had any issues, only positive experiences. Good coverage and offerings.
Another horrible German company
Being a customer for over two years now (5 sims). Wanted to bring another number to them. Trying to contact them for almost two weeks now, all I get is automatic robot responses. Absolute disaster customer service, like most of the big companies in Germany.
Hidden Risky Costs
In my last travel to middle east, I just turned on my mobile and the mobile data was on. It took some seconds to turn it off. For these 2-3 seconds my mobile had used 3.8MB and they charged me 48 Euro plus tax. It is a dangerous hidden cost and not reasonable. They charge per KB for oversees and the price is of course designed for misusing such cases. I am going to terminate my contract now.
Don’t be fooled
Don’t be fooled, this company has hidden fees and when we want to cancel they make life difficult. Also be careful with promises of upgrade at same fee. You will be stick with them for 2 years more. Very dishonest practices.
My phone was stolen and it’s been a…
My phone was stolen and it’s been a week and they haven’t provided me any access to it, not even through the eSim!! Also no feedback from their side. I can’t access my bank account without my phone number!!
The worst phone service provider Berlin
The worst phone service provider in Berlin. There is no Internet service on the card though the contract is about Internet service. I received an email from them that they cannot provide Internet on the postal code: 12555 Berlin. Did they NOT know that when we entered the contract?? I am paying since month without getting any service. Today they cut off the "services" though I paid January monthly fee twice. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL
I’m surprised
I am a bit surprised by the number of negative reviews here. I’ve been on this service for almost 3 years now and even enrolled my wife. Their service have always been too and I’ve never been charged even a cent more than my agreed 9,99. Internet is fast and no network problems or whatsoever. Their customer care is super helpful and I’ve even ordered a new phone from them. From my experience as a previous Vodafone and Lyca customer, Simde appears to be the best.
Avoid contracts with Drillisch online gmbh
Avoid contracts with any of Drillisch online gmbh, subcompanies. Here is included Blacksim.de, Sim.de, Premiumsim.de, sim24.de, sim.de and all the other websites associated with this company.
Check at impresung. If you see Drillisch. I recommand you to avoid it.
There are not replaying to your e-mails, the contracts are not updated. People from hotline they agree with you, but they do nothing, to solve your problem. They say, yes yes, but at the end nothing is fixed.
scam scam scam
Scammers
Avoid it. We signed up for unlimited data but then they said no it is not unlimited!! Even though this was confirmed on the phone. Now we have only used internet for 8 days and we ran out of data because they only gave 50GB. This is the worst online operator. Don’t fall for their offers
They tend to offer cheaper sim packages…
They tend to offer cheaper sim packages but they somehow they have hidden terms and conditions that will eventually rip extam money. I had a terrible experience with them when I was flyting to spain via Swizerland. My flight had a 2 hour halt during which I switched on my sim only to connect to wifi service of the airport. I agree I must have connected my data automatically when I switchen on the sim and must have also recieved soe messages and notifications, however they instantly charged 70€ stating if I use it overseas I bear an extra international charge. Not only that they also switched off my data services because I exceeded my monthly bill over 50€. To my suprise when I reach Spain I was without data and then I reached hotel and emailed the customer support. They customer support asked me to confimr if I am consenting to pay 150€ , only then they will switch on the services. I had a back and for emails when I understood because I switched on my sim on Swizerland my monthly bill already crossed 70€ and they are judging my monthly bill might cross 150€ so unless I consent them they will not allow me to use data that I rightfully available in my contract. They eventually ruined my Spain trip because this to and for email went on for 5 days because every email took 24 hours to reply.
I would request everyone to stay away from them
worse sim
worstsim. I wanted to subscribe with a monthly cancellation option. I clicked on the specific setting where I can cancel the subscription monthly, and it automatically made it for 24 months. Now I have no way to unsuscribe it. and customer service is like you are talking with some monkeys. This SIM adds charge without any reason. My subscription is for 10 euros for 18 GB. This month it charged me 14 euros.
If you are an international living in Germany , be aware of this scam sim company.
Scam company that will suck your blood.
Scam company that will suck your blood.
One advice I would give to each and everyone out there - AVOID SIM.DE
I was a fool to opt for this company. It is the business model of this companies to not have English support and write important terms and conditions in extremely tiny fonts so that you miss these.
Sim.de have terrible 1&1 5G network. In berlin capital city, I don't get adequate speed in many central places.
Their customer support doesn't want to speak in English and doesn't even have english support. They have straight hanged my call more than 10 times when I was talking to them. Either they don't like how my german sounds or they just straight up are terrible at customer support, I don't know.
Now to the problem, Sim.de have charged me 100 euro twice for something that was their clerical mistake.
Both times they couldn't resolve the problem and were continuously shifting blame till they gave the invoice to debt collectors. (Blood suckers)
Third issue recently was due to invoicing. I had transferred them 100 euro which they did not debit my invoice rather they used it as credit. Their incompetent accounting system again caused me 179 Euro loss as they gave the bill to debt collectors.
All three times, I had hired German speaking consultants to help me resolve the problem but Sim.de is expert at shifting blames and falsifying statements.
PLEASE PLEASE NEVER AGAIN. NEVER AGAIN BUY SIM.DE.
Cancelled contract due to poor service
The setup of sim.de has several issues. One major problem is with their roaming plans:
1) When you activate the "Roam Abroad" plan, it deactivates your existing EU free roaming plan. For example, if you're traveling to Switzerland for a few days and activate the "Roam Abroad" plan, upon returning to an EU free roaming zone (like Italy), you'll still be limited to the 1GB plan instead of your usual 20GB plan.
2) Customer support often provides templated responses that only partially address queries. The back-and-forth communication can be time-consuming, potentially causing you to waste your trip trying to resolve issues with sim.de's complicated setup.
3) The customer service is poor and slow to respond.
When canceling a contract, you must contact them via their helpline to confirm the cancellation, which is uncommon among other operators.
Due to these issues, I decided to cancel my contract with sim.de.
so bad
so bad
service is bad and customer service is worst.
i ordered esim QR code and it came after 20 days and QR was already expired.
customer service takes days to reply. dnt stuck for this
5 stars to the customer service lady who didn't speak a word of English but still managed to help me out
As an expat living in Germany; I haven't honestly had any problems with sim.de until I had to cancel it . I used it for two years. Then I moved countries. Safe to say I barely learned any deutsche at this point.
When you want to cancel a contract after the term ends you'd think it'll be easy. But for the non German speaker this is an absolute nightmare as you get an email asking you to call up their hotline and confirm.
I called the hotline, the lady spoke zero English and I spoke no German. Match made in heaven.
However she was an absolute sweetheart and we basically grunted over the phone and somehow managed to get the hotline password by logging on to the sim.de website and then confirming the cancellation.
If the process could be made easier I would highly recommend the service.
4G K41S
they never told that my 4G phone will no longer be supported. i want a refund
Suspicous !
I odered sim card from sim.de in June 2024 with two years contract. Did SEPA for money reduction monthly. But they never replied my phone calls and emails till now. They also never delivered the sim card. It is very suspicious. I am afraid they will start deducting money from my bank account although the sim card has not even been delivered !!
Would not recommend
Would not recommend. Its cheap yes, but customer service do not handle customers. Suddenly cut the network for 1-2 weeks now and customer service is unreachable. Via call or online portal, there is no reply.
This is the worst customer service I…
This is the worst customer service I have ever spoken with and they are not professionals at all, They are going to collect money from my account while I have never ordered a Simcard very suspicious.
