Wild WEEK-LONG outages at sim.de

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and dissatisfaction with sim.de's ongoing service failures. The network has stopped working for days, and despite numerous reports and requests for assistance, I've received no adequate support or communication. The level of service and response from sim.de has been shockingly poor.

For over a week, I’ve been without internet access, including a complete two-day outage. This has caused significant and intolerable disruptions to my life. I’ve missed important work calls and meetings, which have severely impacted my professional responsibilities. I even had to cancel a planned trip because I couldn’t access essential apps while in the city. Additionally, I’ve missed important appointments that required a mobile connection to check in, such as at my gym. This situation has created chaos in my daily life, unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before.

According to German telecommunications law (TKG), I am entitled to compensation for these outages: €5 per day for the third and fourth outage days, or 10% of the monthly fee, whichever is higher. €10 per day starting from the fifth outage day, or 20% of the monthly fee, whichever is higher. Given the duration of the outage, I demand immediate compensation of €55. This includes €10 for the third and fourth days and €45 for the remaining five days.

Now what? Imagine if they cared about that? Of course not.

Now, I'm seating in a contract of 2yrs that does not offer me the very minimum. It's an absurd.

Worst network, racist customer support team

The network is too bad. I can't even get a network in city areas like Ulm, and Neu-Ulm. Customer service is too bad. They have a long waiting time. After they received the call, no support for the non-german speaking customer. The customer executive later told me that she could not talk in English as it is not allowed by the management. This is the worst thing I ever heard from a support executive she knows English but can't talk and provide support in English. Going to cancel the contract early even though It will be a financial loss for me. Fcccck u sim.de. You are going to loose all customer from my family.

The worst of the worst

The worst of the worst.
I have used it for 4 month and it never got better.
Bad signal, Several times a week without any service at all. I think it should be illegal to bring a service like that. Before an emergency you will be probably not be able to call or do anything.

No where is it mentioned that foreign calls are not included. Blocks your ability and leaves you clueless

No where is it mentioned that foreign calls are an extra just to be allowed to call. Not even extra tariffs, but just the ability to call is blocked unless specified. This has real world consequences for immigrants like me. Trying to call my father who is travelling to visit. There was no way to contact him as his flight path was altered. I also didnt know if he tried to contact me. I was left in the airport, stressed, no ability to no why my father didnt meet me at the arrivals. The ability to call foreign calls should be a given, even with extra tariffs and at least mentioned in the contract. To activate it, you need to call an unreliable customer services who then adds extra charges.

Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost! They will charge you 60 euros if you come near a border of a non eu country! They say you dont have to go to the country to be charged! Even though there was a whole sea between me and the non eu country.. very rude customer service

Scam

Impossible to disable 'Datenautomatik'. I disabled my mobile internet when my usage hit 80% but despite that they got me on the hook for two times 'Datenautomatik' and it can be only be disabled from next month.

Just choose a provider that earns their money with good service instead of fooling the consumer.

Shi**y service

Shi**y service, time to time you will have no internet, if you rely on internet for work then you are f*cked. If you call them to ask they will simply say yeah it's not working and no refund, no other solutions given. If you ask them to cancel your plan then they won't do it coz it's not a reasonable ground. You will keep getting higher bill even if your plan says €9.99 or €19.99. They will even refuse to give them their name if you ask them with whom you have been talking to. Shi**y attitude, shi**y phone service.

No service

No service, poor connectivity, claiming to refund partly after a five day network collapse, which of course didn't happen. This is shady business. Avoid or sue!

It's super cheap but there's a catch

It's super cheap you cant find a cheaper deal anywhere, but the speed will be slow, even 5g will capped tk 50mbps max. The signal strength will be poor. You may get someone elses old number, so random people may contact you. It's a pain but atleast you save moneg every month so it's not all loss.

Sim.de outage

Well sim.de does provide a good service at cheaper rate but they do not provide prior intimation for any software updates from their end so that we could be prepared. There was no network since 27.05.24 and they didn't even sent us a intimation for the same. Therefore, I couldn't work and I received a warning strike from my employer!

P.S- sim.de services can be better if they interact with their customers more for any technical updates!

SIM.DE is WORST!

SIM.DE is WORST!
The worst mobile operator you can get in Germany!
Never use it. Sim card just stopped working, roaming does not work, network is constantly lost outside of the city, maximum speed is at the level of a 10 year old phone, Horrible feeling from using it.

Awful phone service

Awful phone service, switched to them since they had a good offer with a lot of data for a cheap price, but the internet is so terrible that you can barely use it anyway. Phone cover is also bad, and after their "upgrade" to 5G, the roaming coverage is even worse than before, and I have never ever seen that my phone is on 5G since the update. I've been trying to get in touch with their customer service for weeks, but no one is answering. And now they recently made an update, and since 2 days I have neither phone service or internet. DO NOT SWITCH TO THIS COMPANY AND DON'T GET FOOLED BY THEIR PRICES, THEY'RE A SCAM!

It's impossible to talk to them

It's impossible to talk to them. No one want to talk to you if you don't know German. They are also very rude: "if you don't speak German, why should I speak English?".
I don't understand why the management is not interested in getting new customers, in a country with million of Expats coming and going every year.
Apart from that, I've ordered my sim online, but I haven't received any update in 7 days.
Well, stay away from this service, it's cheap for a reason.

Slow 4G mobile data

I have been using this sim since 3 years. In between I even updated to 4G to get the better mobile data. But after a week the data is too slow!it seems I am just spending more price to my previous sim.
Would not recommend anyone.

SCAM!

SCAM!

I terminated my contract as I left the country and submitted all the nessecary documentation. So far they have continued to charge me 4 months since. I have repeatedly tried to contact them via email and various automated services. However I never get a response back. I have now tried to call several times and when my German isn't good enough and I asked them to speak slowly, so I can understand, both times they have hangup on me. My issue is still unresolved and they give me no path to figure it out.
