We have been using Similarweb for a number of years now and are happy with the product. It helps us to research potential customers and keep an eye on the competition. There have been many improvements to the platform recently which gives us access to more historical data and new features we didn't previously have. Great job Similarweb team!

Great platform to gain valuable information

I use Similarweb regularly in my Sales Manager role and it is quite self intuitive plus super useful on companies' research and competitor analysis.

Useful for competitors analysis, but always keep in mind that its just ROUGH estimates

Some things should just be left alone when they work ok. Since NP purchased this company, it is just not worth wasting your time.
Too many filters to get to search and once you spend minutes through this the site never works.

Similarweb is comparing my website Bitculator.com with a website that draws kids almost nude and other weird stuff... what the hell?????

My website is about cryptocurrency and finance? it has absolutely nothing to do with what you list it being compared with????

I spent over $5000 on social media to increase traffic as reported on Similarweb over the last three months. However, after they changed their system on July 28, only one-fifth of the traffic is now visible on Similarweb. This change has effectively caused a loss of over $4000, as I relied on Similarweb data. Additionally, the platform now also shows inaccurate traffic data for GA4. Previously, I used Similarweb to gauge the reliability of websites by checking their traffic. Since July 28, Similarweb's traffic data, including its GA4 data, has become unreliable. Despite these significant issues, which have resulted in substantial financial losses and loss of customer trust, they show no concern and fail to take responsibility for resolving the issue.
This is not fair at all.

I'm interested in using this service, You can't contact anyone. I'm locked into a limited version, I have the ability to upgrade and pay but whenever you make a big ticket purchase, you'd like to think you could clarify the finer points of the product you're buying ( I'm only interested in UK data), I've sent a request intimating I'm ready to buy, no response. Also worryingly I cant access my own data, I can't sign out or manage my account.

It seems no one cares to solve the problem after two months.

They get you to signup to then ask you for money. Nothing annoys people more than this. If you want to charge something for your services please disclouse that before hand.

Tried to register but your form would not accept my UK phone number. I've tried every format possible.
Tried to contact your support team - exact same issue" Why do you need my phone number this much at this point is beyond me!? I have clearly stated I needed help due to a technical issue NOT a sales query.

Tried to livechat/chatbot - you are not allowing me to say a word. And instead forcing to set up a call with you - no sale is ever going to be made with such a terrible CX.

It's the best SEO service I know, with plenty of exciting features. I wish there were a low-cost plan.

Ridiculous. How long does this company exist?

No respect for data protection!!!
You are literally bombarded with emails. The company does not comply with the request to delete the data and instead even sends forms in which you are asked to provide further information about yourself. Even an email announcing that future emails will be blocked and the company will be rated poorly is ignored. From now on, Similarweb is on my blocklist - incredibly intrusive!

Shocking - Ask you to leave fake reviews to encourage buyes to purchase items!

This company’s entire viability is based on a scam. Employees must put bigger and bigger amounts of money in just to get paid. If they can’t make a payment, SimilarWeb keeps all the money previously spent and refuses to allow withdrawal of any commission. They claim in the interview having to put in payments is very rare but it’s obviously a lie. They ask you to borrow money off family and friends!!

Built on scammed content. New employees are taken on for a trial period where they buy and return items to be advertised pushing the market visibility up.

Employees must use their own money and if they can't finish a day's work they lose all their money.
