Be very careful with this company.

ATTENTION!

It's a bit of a long story but it summarizes my experience very well, I hope it helps you before making a purchase here.

My story with them begins on Sunday, April 7, I bought 1,400 euros in items that “supposedly” are in stock and that would have immediate shipping in a time of 1 to 3 days maximum, until then everything is fine, I make the payment and this is where the problems begin. After the maximum 3 days for shipping, I contact the live chat service, I speak with Mr. Alexander, and he tells me that the maximum day would be sent on Friday, it arrives on Friday and I do not receive anything and at that moment I go back to communicate through the same live chat and they give me a new date, on Monday it is sent 100%, when Monday arrives we continue with the same story, and I do not receive anything, on Monday I am already tired, I say that if they have the products they are in stock and they inform me that yes, they are in their warehouse, and I ask them if I can go pick them up myself, if there is a problem with the shipping or with the delivery company, to which they answer that that is not possible. and always the same message that seemed to be sent by a bot, “we are very sorry, we will send it as quickly as possible.” On Tuesday, April 16, the live chat on the website disappears, so I am preparing to communicate with the company via WhatsApp and their WhatsApp had no connection since February 6, I called the phones that appear both in your website. Like another one I found. on this same page. The WhatsApp phone is always turned off and someone answered on the other phone but told me it was another business, so I made sure they gave me a response via email, and there they continued with the same excuses, first they offer a discount on one of the products, and then I didn't understand very well why, but they stopped answering for 4 days and on Monday, April 22, they answered me again saying that my 10 emails during those 4 days had ended up in the Spam tray, it sounds a little strange, but well, I went back to I asked for a shipping date and they promised me again that they would send it to me on Tuesday, until today, I have not received anything, the website has been closed for updates and they do not respond to emails.

After contacting all the necessary entities to know what would be the procedure to follow in these cases, my last move was two days ago to send an email to cancel the order, if they do not respond within 7 days my financial company will be ready to cancel the order and return the money. The rest remains to be seen.

It's too bad that companies like this damage the image of other professionals who are trying to gain a foothold in this increasingly competitive market. I hope they can't fool more people, because I literally feel fooled.

Happy with the S1 cockpit

Overall I have had a good experience with this company. It is an issue that the advertised next day delivery is too often not achieved ( judging by my own experience and other reviews), probably because some times the goods need to be shipped from third parties instead of their own warehouse. It would be better to specify a range of e.g. 1 to 7 days in those cases. As it is always better to to under promise and over deliver.

On the other hand e-mails are replied to quickly and a refund given if not happy with the waiting time, which inspires confidence.

I have also ordered the S1 cockpit, which was a bit of a gamble since it was the first time on the market without many reviews. But it looked to be good value for what was being advertised and I liked that it had a nice small footprint. When the package was received, I was surprised by the build quality, already when putting it together I could tell that it was very precisely machined, e.g. the screws would easily go in by hand before tightening the last bit with an allen key.

Then came the first time racing. I was very happy to experience absolutely no flex with a 12 Nm direct drive wheel. Pedal are also nice and sturdy for my needs. I have the Moza SRP pedals with the heavier brake mods . Pressing hard on the brakes, I do see the pedal platform flex a little, but it is not noticeable if not looking. Overall very happy with the S1, it is nice and small, has all the adjustments I need and provides a solid base.

Unreliable Service from Simplace - Delays and Poor Customer Support

Our experience with Simplace has been extremely disappointing and led to significant disruptions in a professional training schedule. We ordered a steering wheel mount, expecting it to arrive within the delivery time of about one week as indicated on their website. However, this expectation was not met, as the mount was only shipped after 3.5 weeks.

This was not a minor inconvenience but a serious disruption for a professional racing driver preparing for the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). The delay forced us to seek alternative solutions and cost us valuable training time.

When the mount finally arrived and we contacted Simplace to initiate a return, given the product arrived too late for our needs, we were met with a refusal. Simplace declined the return, stating the order was placed more than two weeks ago. This policy seems particularly unfair given that the delay was entirely on Simplace's end.

Even after we explained our situation and the urgency behind our order, Simplace remained firm in their decision, which not only posed a significant inconvenience but also demonstrated a disregard for customer needs.

Due to this experience, we cannot recommend Simplace. The lack of flexibility and understanding for customer needs, especially in an industry as time-sensitive as race training, is unacceptable. Future customers should be aware of the potential for shipping delays and the company's rigid stance on customer service matters.

Scummy practices

So I contacted simplace by email to confirm dispatch date for their new s1 cockpit, I was informed "last week of February" This lined up with what the website said which was "25th Feb" So I made the order.

Today as was the 25th I decided to reach out on website chat for an update and now it is 8th March dispatch. This is disappointing and now I fear, having read other reviews that there will be further delays, delays that I will no doubt have to contact them to find out about instead of being updated. A 2 week delay on shipping should be communicated!

Not only this, it is a brand new product that I have pre ordered and yet the website shows reviews with people claiming months of use...obviously fake. I feel this is a slightly scummy misleading business.

I would avoid

Incredibly slow - misleading website

This was one of the worst buying experiences I've had, and I do not recommend that anyone waste their time with this company. It took 14 days for an "in stock" item to arrive when it should have taken two days. Customer service was unresponsive and ineffectual, and no refund for the awful service was provided.

The website promises "shipped the same day", yet it took ten days to dispatch the "in stock" item. Premium shipping was paid for (£19 from Europe to the UK), yet when it arrived six days later, the delivery label indicated a much cheaper option was used, explaining why it took three times longer than expected.

When they did respond, customer service offered no useful information, with empty comments such as "We will do absolutely everything we can to improve for future orders". The explanation for using a cheaper shipping service was: "Due to rising prices for shipping, the orders are fulfilled with the fastest shipping method that is available within the charged price." It is fraudulent to offer and charge for a specific service and swap it out for a cheaper one.

Avoid- have taken £383 and sent nothing!

This company have taken £383 of my sons hard earned money 5 weeks ago, provided no order number, no product and are ignoring all emails and calls. Not acceptable. About to make claim against the company , avoid at all costs!!!

Totally dishonest on email

I ordered £700+ of flight simulation gear to practice for an upcoming instrument flight exam and never received it. Their website said the items were in stock and would be dispatched next day as I needed them urgently. Having not received any tracking information, I emailed, and over the span of a conversation lasting four weeks, they sent me five separate emails saying the goods would be dispatched the next day. They never were. After being lied to so many times, I've started a credit card chargeback to get my money back and have ordered the items directly from the manufacturer. Total cowboys, shop elsewhere.
