As others have said, simple menu.com is a scam. They took my order and my money online, and then called in my order to the restaurant using a fake credit card number. I arrived at the restaurant to find that my order had not been paid for despite the charge to my card from simple menu.

They take your order, but do not deliver it! You are not ordering from the restaurant's website, it is a third party who has no authority to order from the restaurants.

FRAUDULENT WEBSITE! BUYER BEWARE! I searched google for late night restaurants near me. I saw Golden Apple Grill was open and had a website to order from. So I placed an order on the site, ordergoldenapplegrill, after I placed the order it took me to:
simplemenu . com / simplemenu/menus/1213/1431/goldenapplegrillbreakfasthouse5f97a5c660eba/#confirmation
and the page said, "A confirmation email will be sent out to you, as soon as your order has been confirmed.

I received nothing further so I called the restaurant to inquire. They said they had no clue what I was talking about and they don't have a website! So this website is completely fraudulent and now they have my personal information and cash app card and the restaurant was zero help. I cancelled the card, but can't do anything about the charge yet because it is pending.

We placed an order through the restaurant’s website which had been linked to Simplemenu. If you see that you are redirected DO NOT place your order using them. This site basically takes your order, then wastes 45 minutes before they call the restaurant and place the order themselves. It is quite ridiculous.

Same situation. Simple menu is scam where they high jack the Google listing. I called my bank right away after the restaurant confirmed an order was never placed! Replaced my card and stopped payment on this scam of a company. Don't order if they use Simple menu.com!!!!

Just like everyone else’s review. Placed an order and got an email saying we would get a confirmation soon... it never came. After an hour I called the restaurant and they said we needed to deal with simple menu directly. When we called, the person we dealt with asked for the order number 3 separate times, asked us to spell our name 3 times, and said they never received the order. That’s odd because we were charged for it. After haggling for like ten minutes, we were asked to call back in a few hours. We said no, we just want a refund, and she said it should post sometime tomorrow. We said we didn’t believe that and were told that’s all they can do. Unf’nbuevable. Worst first experience / customer experience I’ve had in quite some time. Do yourself a favor and just go pick up the food.

Definitely a scam. I placed an order by clicking the "Website" button on the Google Maps listing for a restaurant. Placed my order. Even got confirmation emails and notifications that my order was out for delivery, but it was never delivered. The restaurant said that they sent food with someone but that they hadn't received payment??? The order never arrived. Come to learn that this is a scam where they hijack Google listings. Yikes.

Called the restaurant to ask why it was cancelled and they said that they never sent a driver and that the food was there for 30 mins. Called customer service and they told me that they thought the restaurant was closed and they were still charging me delivery fee even though I went to pick it up. Truly remarkable service and customer support.

This company seems to be running a scam or perhaps they are just totally incompetent...not sure. They portray them selves as being the actual restaurant website, but in fact you're goin through them, SimpleMenu. There is no ability to link to their site at simplemenu.com. They give you the restaurant's phone number to follow up, but the restaurant tells you to call SimpleMenu, which again is not possible. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

Postmates called me to say the restaurant didn’t have my order. The owner of the restaurant then called to say SimpleMenu.com is a scam. Apparently they hijack Yelp and Google listings. Now I have to fight to get my money back

I never received a full confirmation. I haven't received my food 45 after I requested it be delivered which was 40 min after I placed the order.. I've been on hold with them 15 minutes before someone answered. I started as caller #2 on hold. 3 times it said I was first in line only to drop me to 2nd again. Someone finally answered, took my order #, said they'd check on it, then hung up. This service is a cruel joke.

I also just experienced what the restaurant called “a scam” when I called to follow up with them about what I’m about to write. I went to the restaurant on Google Maps, followed the link to the listed website and made an order, giving my credit card info and address. 45 minutes later someone named Joe called and said the restaurant couldn’t take my order, and he immediately hung up on me. I called the restaurant told him what happened and they said they had no record of any order, and that it was a scam that just started happening to them. Beware.

Based on my experience, simplemenu.com is a scam. And the reviews of simplemenu.com on scamadvisor are also a scam.

After searching online for a local restaurant that I've been to many times, I clicked on a page that said to order now.

I completed an order, which contained the same menu items I'm familiar with from the restaurant.

When I called the restaurant because there was one item I'd forgotten to order, they told me that they had no record of the order and that they didn't work with simplemenu.com.

So I had to cancel my credit card based on having gone through the simplemenu.com website.
