I had a kitchen extension done with simply extend this year and very happy with the end result. The builders, painters and handymen used were all very professional and have done a fantastic job. All additional work I requested was also undertaken and done to a very high standard. Would recommend.

I have just completed an extension (and general internal rejig) project with Simply and the end result is so much better than I ever hoped it would be.
At the start of the project I was apprehensive - I wasn't sure how I would juggle work and the demands of a big house project and friends and family were warning me of the chaos and delays and rows with trades that I should certainly expect. It was indeed a messy and busy few months however the building team were all so great - always punctual and tidy (I never had to move out of the flat!) and I was also assigned an excellent project manager who very patiently dealt with my (many many!) questions and worries. Everyone turned up bang on time every morning and the project was finished pretty much when it was expected to. My doubting friends and family were also very impressed!
So my first building project was surprisingly painless and I would even consider doing it again! And most importantly I love my new home - which was been transformed thanks to Simply and the building team.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Just signed off on our final snags for our kitchen extension undertaken by Simply Extend. We are thrilled with the final finish and looking forward to enjoying the rest of the summer entertaining. All the communication we had with simply was spot on, and any questions we had were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The project itself not to mention the value it has added to our home, we would describe as excellent value for money. We would not hesitate in recommending Simply to any one of our friends and family.

We recently extended our kitchen with Simply. Overall we are very pleased with the result. The customer care is excellent and the work was done to high standards, we love our kitchen. We like the fact that everything is streamlined and that the builders are kept under control. The builders´s core team of Builders Team, the construction company we were assigned to, were very pleasant and their manager, Saras, was excellent, he made the whole process easier that it would have been under someone else. We had some issues with our flooring that perhaps could have been avoided, and this caused the project to take longer than expected. The electricians, in our opinion were not as good as the rest of the team and were not as attentive, we had chase them. The plumber was brilliant, and the two main builders/joiners, Mantas and Aimantas get top marks. I would not hesitate to recommend Builders Team, and I would also recommend Simply, because the actual managing of the build was easy and straigtforward. I would however stop the constant payment email reminders, they were sent automatically and we kept receiving them after we´d paid, so they were very annoying. Apart from that. Very happy. Elena

Simply has just completed our kitchen extension and started on loft conversion. The build quality is highly satisfactory and all the tradesman are courteous and professional. They have also sorted out some of the historical problems with our house. We are very happy to recommend them.

The reason for the four-star is sometimes communication can be lacking which caused a few issues when coordinating the build schedule. But they were all worked out nicely in the end despite being a bit stressful at the time.

After taking on a big project to extend and renovate a small flat in Central London, we were keen to employ a company with an excellent reputation. Simply Extend have provided a service that has run seamlessly and without stress. The team of builders have not only demonstrated high standards but were very forthcoming in making changes as the project evolved. An excellent option for those seeking value for money with particular attention to customer care. I will be using Simply Extend again and referrring to family and friends.

Simply disastrous.

We wish we had avoided this company at all costs.

We wanted a single partner who would do everything in-house. We selected Simply as they said they had 200 employees and would do everything including the drawings / design in-house. What they actually do is sell to project on to a subcontractor, in our case, 33London, who then subcontracted the work again.

I could catalogue the pain we went through but it won't fix our sloping floor, wonky brickwork, roof that pools water, wall that was wrongly built in our neighbours garden, address the anger caused when labourers continually used our garden as a toilet, or correct the dimensions provided by the architect that were incorrect.

What we wanted was a quick, easy and pain free project, handled by a professional construction company. Unfortunately we didn't get this.

Hopefully this review will help people understand what to expect from SimplyExtend.

Simply extend made the whole process incredebly easy from start to finish! the architect came up with some fantastic design ideas and the construction team executed them wonderfully. The tradesmen were very polite and always worked hard putting in extra hours to make sure a job was completed on time. Our project Manager was very efficiant and it was useful having the Simply office check in with us throughout the process should we have any questions. We are the third property on our street to have an extension done by Simply extend, the quality and finish is just as we had hoped. Everything came in on budget with no hidden extras. We love our new kitchen diner!

Simply is a very well organised company along with a really great project manager. Simply even sorted out a problem I had really quickly with our kitchen instillation.

We were extremely impressed with quality and service provided by the team at Simply Extend. Especially with the end results. The kitchen extension looks fantastic! the living space has been completely transformed. We are very happy that we chose Simply Extend for our project. The work was carried out efficiently and professionally with close attention to detail. We were also pleased with the after sales service provided. We have no hesitation in recommending your company's services for similar projects in future. 5 stars!

Simply Extend built a large kitchen extension to our specifications and we were delighted with the finished space. The Build team were very professional and brought the build in on time and on budget. Simply Extend did and excellent job in managing the project and helping resolve any issues we had with the builders, which were minimal. The work was completed to a high standard with only very limited disruption to our daily lives, as the builders accessed the property from the rear and were able to stay out of the bulk of the house, thus keeping mess to a minimum.
The finished product is everything we had hope for and was competitively priced so we would certainly recommend Simply Extend to others.

Our large loft and extension project was completed by Simply.  The work was done well within time which was really important as we had a baby on the way! Now that the baby has arrived we absolutely love our new space in the kitchen and extra bedroom with ensuite bathroom... All the work was done to a very high standard, and the workers were all extremely helpful and polite. So pleased with everything, thanks Simply. 5 stars!

We used Simply Extend for our ground floor flat side extension in London zone 2. This added an additional bedroom and involved a full remodelling of nearly all the existing rooms, including moving walls and adding a bi-fold door. Simply Extend provided a competitive price for the work which included design, planning permission and build. In the initial consultation we discussed a range of design ideas and we were talked though the various cost and planning implications for each design option. We decided upon a design that was relatively safe for our planning application and quite cost effective, we swapped our living space from the front to the rear of the flat which has resulted in a much improved transition between the living space and the garden. Simply Extend were very quick to provide the quotation.

Overall the project went smoothly and Simply were quick to respond to any queries or problems that cropped up along the way. There was a project manager in charge of the work and we had regular contact with the customer support manager which meant that we were confident that our project was in safe hands and removed a lot of the stress of the extensive works. We are incredibly pleased with our completed extension, the work was completed to a high standard and we would recommend Simply Extend.

We chose Simply Extend because we felt their customer service and realistic approach to be the best. Having ha a loft conversion to our property previously we had some idea of what to expect. The initial meeting was very thorough, coupled with the very reasonable quote, they were heads above other companies I contacted. The build was to a very high spec and on budget. They have a great online dashboard which really helps to keep informed and updated. All the tradespeople were courteous and trustworthy, not to mention highly skilled. Very satisfied with our single storey extension. I would reccommend as well for their honesty about the process regarding what to expect and potential delays.

We initially chose Simply Extend as we felt they were most honest about the length of time it would take and the level of disruption. During the work we were kept fully informed of progress, any additional costs and found the Project Manager was always happy to answer any queries or discuss ideas we had.
The work was completed on time and, 4 years on, we are still really happy with the workmanship. Any minor problems we had after the work were quickly resolved and Simply Extend were always very happy to come out.

We had a loft, downstairs extension and baby number two all arriving simultaneously back in 2015 and two years on are still delighted with our bigger home (and family!).
Work started 2 days before baby and lasted several months as we had wanted to remain in the property so the loft had to be completed before downstairs started. The team and project manager were excellent and so considerate of the need for family life to continue. Costs, quality of work and timescale were our 3 top priorities and we felt Simply achieved all of these. Any additional costs (requested by us e.g. decorating) were discussed and planned. Timescale was bang on with us never feeling like progress wasn't being made or project abandoned. Workmanship, well 2 years on and we are still delighted.

Part of the Simply Construction group, you will struggle to find a more apathetic and greedy company to deal with who hide behind promises and timings that are rarely upheld. Once they've got your first payment, you're ruined.

Our build was a total disaster from the start and a straightforward 8 week job took over 16 weeks and forced us out of home... costs added in once work already underway, project management woeful, huge delays from suppliers, huge gaps between teams where nothing happens, basic failure to use tarpaulin led to a flooded bedroom, nothing turns up on time, refusal to secure the house properly each night. And worst of all, no one seems to care. Soon as the CEO (who despite the misery he knew was heaped upon me has complained I named him in my initial review) has your signature and deposit, he performs a disappearing act, refusing to respond to messages and showing no care or compassion for the mess you're left to deal with among the vacuum of work or effective communication. They sub-contract to someone else then wash their hands of you.

Never EVER use this company. There must be loads of half decent ones in London who won't make your life a misery.

BY WAY OF AN UPDATE: NOW THINGS ARE GOING WRONG WITH OUR LOFT CONVERSION, WE'RE BEING ASKED TO PAY £180 FOR A WORKMAN TO COME OUT THE HOUSE AND MAKE IT GOOD. SHOCKING.
