Kitchen Taps

Bought a set of Taps for the kitchen. They were great and arrived very quickly. Minor problem with them, which was sorted immediately.

Excellent customer service

I phoned Sinks to trace a receipt for some taps in order to get them fixed under warranty. The man I spoke to was very polite and very helpful. He found the receipt and e mailed it straight over to me. Excellent customer service. Thank you

Avoid!!

If I could zero points..I would!
This company is awful. Ordered over the phone a kitchen tap. Was told I would receive the tap with 48 hours. So when no tap arrived and after 6 days..I phone only to be told they had no stock. So this awful company has my money for 6 days but doesn't have decency to let me know. I cancelled the order only to be told I would have to wait for a refund.
My advice to everyone..AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS COMPANY AND THEIR PRODUCTS!

AWFUL AFTERCARE

AWFUL AFTERCARE! I ordered an expensive ceramic Franke sink that should have been bomb proof. When we unpacked it to install it it was cracked and usable. We let them know that day but they are saying as we didn't let them know 7 days after delivery they can't do anything! This is complete rubbish and break consumer rights act! A fight to get my money back continues and I won't back down!

A great experience

Some quite angry reviews on this thread caused by unrealistic expectations. These guys don't carry stock, which is how they offer great discounts on RRP. Since the product comes direct from the manufacturer it may take a while to sort problems out. The sales team are great if you speak to them. They checked for me that the sink was in stock before ordering and also checked the manufacturer over delivery date. Overall a great experience to get the sink we wanted. 30% discount, delivery in 3 days. Sorted!

Don't order anything

Don't order anything! Their reputation for returns is extremely poor and I've had the same experience. I requested to return a product, they responded but not with information on how to return, they purposely delayed me to a point were it went over 14 days since the purchase and then they said it couldn't be returned as it went over the 14 days which is against their online policy

Simply Awful

I cannot explain how badly run this company is.
Firstly they never reply to emails and are impossible to return items to.
Then they receive your item back and don't refund. They've had my item back since the 30th June.
I have had to start a charge back via my card company due to their lack of response.

Honestly this is a company to AVOID

Franke Stainless Steel sink arrived damaged, but was soon resolved

I ordered a Franke Stainless Steel on line, after first checking with their call centre that the sink was in stock, the sink arrived the following day.
Unfortunately the sink arrived damaged, it looked like it had been roughly handled during transit, no fault of Sinks.co.uk.
I contacted the call centre, and explained that the kitchen fitter was due to fit the sink the following day.
There was no hesitation in sending out a replacement, which was promised to arrive the next day in time for the fitter, which it did.
On my experience I would have no hesitation on recommending this company, the products are genuine and are of a reasonably price compared to their competitors the delivery and the after sales service was first class. Well done.

After we placed our order (for a Perrin and Rowe kitchen tap, in pewter), we felt worried as there was no further communication for a few days despite the promise that it would be sent out the next day. We then read some poor reviews on here which gave us very cold feet. But just when we thought we had been messed around, our tap just arrived! It is beautiful. If only they had communicated more clearly about its dispatch then we would give five stars. We were doubtful that they would be able to supply this tap so quickly when other companies had a much longer lead in time, but it turned out that all our doubts were unfounded!

Absolute crooks

Absolute crooks, do not use. Customer service is non existent, friendly enough on the phone but do not follow through what they have discussed.

We had a belfast sink that was delivered broken into 3 pieces, things happen, however, it took them 2 weeks to replace it and we are still waiting 1 month later to pick the old one up.

We also treated ourselves to some Perrin and Rowe brass taps which arrived scratched, they aren't helping at all with this one, infact I'm currently on hold to them and have been for the last 10 minutes so far.

They're very happy to take your money but do nothing for you afterwards.

The quality brands should not be working with them as gives their product a bad name too.

Utter disgrace and strongly advise to not use these guys.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs! I purchased a product that turned out to be faulty. When I tried to return it, I was met with resistance and a complete disregard for my rights as a consumer.

Despite sending video evidence of the fault, Sinks.co.uk refused to refund me and tried to pass all responsibility to the manufacturer. This is a clear breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which states that goods must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

When I pushed back, they became evasive and unhelpful. It was clear they had no intention of resolving the issue.

With no alternative, I was forced to do a chargeback via my credit card company. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this company.

In stock does not mean in stock! Be warned

I should have read the reviews before I ordered. Bought the taps I wanted, which said ‘in stock’, then told lead time was months. Asked to choose a different tap if I wanted it now, which wasn’t really what I wanted, and when it arrived it was clearly used and tarnished. Poor comms on email but to be fair I did get a response, unlike some other people on here. Website lures you in with ‘in stock’ so just be aware of that and completely disregard that statement. I’d suggest other companies before this one

Textbook bait-and-switch website

Notice everything says 'in stock / fast dispatch' in their website? Notice all the reviews saying items took WEEKS to be delivered? Emails go unanswered/ignored? Well here I am, adding to the list of people who'd wished they'd read the reviews first...

Next day and 'in stock' apparently mean 6+ weeks lead time, 4 chases via email, and only one reply.

Website is a literal bait and switch scam - get you in, THEN they order your part in from their suppliers.
Forget customer service - it's non-existent. Emails ignored, zero F's given.

I'd rate sinks.co.uk (and their other trading name, taps.co.uk) zero stars if I could.
AVOID.

Waste of time

Waste of time. I called before ordering and they said 3-5 working days for delivery. On the 6th day called them and they said waiting for manufacture. Rubbish!!!! Avoid!!!!
