I placed an order and have been waiting for it for 20 days. According to the status, the item was delivered on January 1, 2026 (even though it was a holiday - so it's not possible). The service d... See more

It's a company from Farnell with about twice the price of Farnell components. So it's actually crazy expensive. Some parts are 4-5x more expensive then other website with genuine parts. From the... See more

Unfriendly version of Farnell

Sinus is Farnell portal for private customers. Farnell does not serve private customers directly, and directs them to Sinus when finalizing the order. Therefore, at that point you will start all over again, but now in a much less friendly user interface of Sinus. Prices are much more expensive, search is much less capable, and delivery is slower or very slow (national post instead of couriers). For these reasons I avoid Sinus if I can. But sometimes there is no better option. I now only use them for legacy components.

Quick delivery and fair prices

Quick delivery and fair prices.
I ordered a soldering iron and a bridge rectifier to fix a broken subwoofer and both worked like a charm.
Good to see retailers that still deal in electronic parts!

Delays and higher-than-market prices

Ordered on the 20/3, shipped on the 26/3, and not yet delivered as of the 29/3 (the latter due to coronavirus-related delays with PostNL).

The delay in shipping the items, together with the fact that prices are 2x as high as normal (Farnell- only for business, but also Digikey, RS, Mouser etc... that sell to privates as well) make shopping at Sinuss not worth it.

Good choice

The seller sent the item some day later, (days between Christmas holidays) but everything was ok, and price very good.

I would rate them 5+

I would rate them 5+, I am very satisfied with their customer service, I had a problem with my PayPal account, where I paid 6 times for the same order, but they helped me to resolve that and funded all the wrong transactions.
