The experience with the car rental was very good in terms of staff service, rental price, and the convenience of returning the vehicle at a different location than where it was picked up. However, as a suggestion for improvement, we recommend that SIXT improve the directions to the rental return point at Malpensa Airport, as it was excessively complicated.

Barbara was extremely helpful, she made our experience seamless and allowed us to proceed with our journey quickly. She was courteous and professional, I wish all desk agents were like her.

Veronica assisted me by email before my trip and ensured everything was arranged. Even though she wasn’t on duty when I arrived, the team welcomed me warmly and processed the rental efficiently thanks to her notes. They helped me choose the best car in the category and clearly explained how to collect it. A seamless experience.

very good service, friendly staff and very good to be able to pick up the keys out of hours. Also nice to have SIXT staff waiting for the car and the inspection was easy and interraction pleasant with helpful and friendly staff who speak English well. Also nice to be able to contact support with whatsapp at any time. Perhaps the details about collecting a ticket and not swiping ones debit card could be more clear on return instructions but this was more my fault. Would be good if some instructions were also in English at the initial entry boom - you cant enter the second one without a ticket.

I have used several rental companies at Bologna's airport, Sixt is by far the best for the service provided and for the professionality of personnel. Great car options available.

BMW 540 rented a Sixt Palermo airport.
I was provided with a car which had highly damaged tires, deficient on-board electronic, and they tend to force you to take all optional insurances arguing you have to pay the franchise for each damage they would identify when you return the car (which is obviously not true). I suggest you avoid renting a car there and go to the other rental car companies present in the airport, which are much more reliable.

Vorrei raccontare la mia esperienza negativa con questa società di noleggio. Il primo giorno ho noleggiato un’auto per andare dal Cairo ad Alessandria. Al momento del ritiro, il personale ci ha consigliato di prendere un modello più grande e più bello, con un sovrapprezzo, e abbiamo accettato.

Dopo soli 10 minuti di viaggio, l’auto ha segnalato un allarme indicando che le ruote erano bucate. In autostrada, in Egitto, non ci sono molti servizi e la situazione era pericolosa, quindi ho dovuto proseguire lentamente finché non ho trovato un meccanico. Dopo il controllo, abbiamo scoperto che uno pneumatico aveva ben 7 buchi. Il meccanico ha impiegato molto tempo per sistemarlo, ma nonostante ciò l’allarme continuava ad apparire.

Ho contattato l’assistenza e la risposta è stata semplicemente “risolva il problema da solo”. Mi sono quindi arrangiato come potevo e sono arrivato ad Alessandria dopo 5 ore anziché 2, a notte fonda. Ero stremato, e anche l’auto non era in buone condizioni, quindi ho richiesto un cambio vettura.

Mi hanno consegnato un’altra macchina, ma appena accesa è comparso un nuovo allarme. A quel punto, per paura di danneggiarla ulteriormente, l’ho lasciata nel garage dell’hotel e l’ho usata soltanto per tornare al Cairo.

Il viaggio di ritorno è stato l’ennesimo incubo: dopo circa 15 minuti dalla partenza si è staccato il tergicristallo!

I would like to share my negative experience with this car rental company. On the first day, I rented a car because I was arriving in Cairo and needed to travel to Alexandria. When I picked up the car, the staff advised me to upgrade to a bigger and nicer vehicle, which cost more, and I agreed.

However, only 10 minutes after starting my trip, a warning light appeared indicating that the tires were damaged. On Egyptian highways there are very few services, and it was extremely dangerous, so I had to drive very slowly until I found a mechanic. After checking the car, we discovered that one of the tires had seven holes. It took a long time to repair it, but even after the fix, the warning light would not go away.

I called customer service, and they simply told me to “fix the problem myself.” I had no choice but to continue, and I eventually arrived in Alexandria after five hours instead of two, late at night. I was exhausted, and the car was clearly not in good condition, so I asked for a replacement vehicle.

They gave me another car, but as soon as I turned it on, a new warning light appeared. At that point, I was afraid to drive it, so I left it in the hotel garage and only used it to return to Cairo.

The return trip was another nightmare: after about 15 minutes of driving, the windshield wiper fell off!

In conclusion, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone.
My experience was terrible, stressful, and dangerous.

When we picked up the car the customer service is good. But be careful when u return the car, counter has no one, u dropped the key and they said u return the car late and charge u for late fee also the premium location fee without acknowledging you. Book with your own risk. I will definitely not booking from them anymore.

In addition to the fact that our car was wonderful, when I had to shorten our rental time due to illness the staff at the SIXT car rental in Rome went out of their way to pick up our car at our hotel as I could not drive any further. Every car rental agency should be as caring as SIXT and we will rent from them again anytime!!

Everything went well and worked as expected.

I was expecting a a8 or bmw series 7 I received a a6 s line, I as disappointed because it is my car…

Like all rental services on Milan airport, they try to scam you with fake damages. You must take full coverage otherwise they will make you pay for 'new' damages.

Of course with full coverage you pay double, but at least there is a max in the amount they STEAL from you.

So you are not insured for damages, you pay for ‘protection’ of not being robbed.

Sixt claims that this method was an incident, and we all know it is not. Since Linate airport also has a role in this, I will continue my journey for justice there.
