I've placed orders with Six the Residence before and have always been impressed by their fast, reliable delivery — which is why this experience has been so disappointing.
We ordered a pouffe for a client back on 29 April. Weeks passed with no updates, and it wasn't until I chased them myself in July that I learned the piece had been held up by a fabric issue and wouldn't be dispatched until the week of 27 July — nearly three months after ordering. At no point were we proactively told about the delay. If I hadn't reached out, we'd still be in the dark.

To make matters worse, we have a professional photoshoot of the space booked for 28 July, and it now looks like the stool won't be in place in time. What's been especially frustrating is how hard it's been to reach anyone, so resolving anything quickly feels impossible.

I really wanted to love this experience, as their products and past service have genuinely been lovely. But the lack of communication and the difficulty getting hold of someone when it mattered has left us in a tough spot with a client. I would love if anyone could be in contact to resolve this asap.

I have purchased from Six The Residence a number of times for projects and have always found Daisy to be exceptionally helpful and responsive. The items are gorgeous and really good quality. I return time and again when sourcing as the pieces whilst trendy feel very timeless.

Great communication, and service, lovely products!

Spent just shy of £1000, including £60 on delivery. Despite the high delivery charge, this still took 10 days to arrive.
One of my items arrived covered in dust and damaged. Every corner of the chair has a large chip in it.
Waiting to hear back from the customer service team, but from looking online this will be a long returns / exchange process and suggests that I have to pay an additional £40 to arrange for a collection.
Unfortunately this is not the standard I would expect from this type of company and after spending so much money with them.

Quick despatch and delivery time from point of order

No indication was given after I ordered of when the item would be delivered. After a MONTH I had to email customer service to ask what was going on and was first told it works be in time for Christmas (December 23) and then later told January 6. It was finally delivered January 7. Poor customer service that I had to chase for a date!

Really happy with my new desk which arrived just before Christmas. Easy to build (not much to do at all) and the end result feels solid, well built and looks great. Enquiries were handled with speed before and after purchase and I was informed of a very minor delay due to the Christmas rush which was totally understandable. I'd not bought from this vendor before and didnt know what to expect, but recommendations from Sheerluxe and other media were solid and my experience matched them. Would recommend!

Delivered in good time, well packaged and without any damage. The pouffes themselves are gorgeous; beautifully made with a lovely plinth and fantastic intricate fabric that looks of great quality. Delighted!

Update: I have now been contacted by Six the Residence with a solution offer to resolve the issue; therefore, I changed my rating based on their customer service.

I have recently purchased a desk from Six the residence. Unfortunately, the craftsmanship is extremely poor for a piece of furniture of that price. Scratches all over, with paint barely covering the desk in parts, in places not at all. Missing screws and washers. It isn't even possible to put it up. Drawers do not align. I contacted them via email with photographs, but unfortunately had no response. I called, but no one is picking up the phone. I am very much surprised that for furniture of that cost there seem to be no quality checks in place; if there had been any, this desk would have definitely not been sold. Design itself is lovely, but in terms of quality, it feels more like something I would have picked up from Home Sense for £180, not £800something. I have requested this to be picked up.

The chairs are uncomfortable, and the cushions slip between the seat and the back, with no way of attaching them, so they're always slipping down and falling onto the floor.

Customer service was polite but pretty useless. They delivered mismatching chairs twice. They offered us a tiny discount, but it was clear they weren't really prepared to do anything about their mistake. And if they reply to this saying the chairs were matching, they clearly have no eye for detail. The rattan was a different pattern and different shade, so clearly the model of chair had been altered at some point. All in all, really disappointing. Would not recommend.

Supremely uncomfortable sofa which Six the Residence are only agreeing to return minus the shipping fee. Terrible service.

Ordered a desk - The drawers that are part of the desk arrived with the wrong hole spacing so they cannot be assembled. I'm now either going to have to drill extra holes into an 800 GBP desk, or wait for another 2 months for the correct product to be delivered.

Additionally, it looks like everything is being dropshipped from china, hence the lead times. Bad experience so far, lets see what customer service does...
