Maybe they shouldn't have advertised on LTT (June Update)

Maybe they shouldn't have advertised on LTT's April 1st video. It was a great video and now they are swamped with more orders than their supply chain can manage. These things happen, but I would have expected some communication about it and maybe an opportunity to cancel the order. Who knows if I'll ever see product, it's been 30 days since my order and 15 days since shopify informed me that they were prepping the order.

Meanwhile, trustpilot is on autopilot asking me for a review. If you are trustpilot, maybe that is a good thing, a reminder to people that they haven't gotten popcorn after so long and hence the run of 1 star reviews filling this company's column.

Update 5/30, still no popcorn but I did get spammed via text to see if I wanted to order even more imaginary popcorn. They have really tone deaf targeted marketing. I'd lower my 1 star if I could.

I'll keep updating this review if I ever get the popcorn or more annoying targeted marketing to generate demand go a product that cannot be delivered.

Update 6/10

Two months and 9 days later I received the 6 pack. The flavors are nice, it is a great snack. I can't find flavors like that in my area anywhere else, so I might be tempted to order more in the future if I feel like it might arrive in a more reliable fashion. I'm adding a star to my review for now.

Long Wait Times

Never received it. Ordered it April 13th and still waiting with no tracking information Will edit if that changes.

Update:

I ordered around April 13th and have waited a month and a half to try this popcorn out and now just feel like I've wasted my money. The biggest issue with this whole fiasco is the lack of visibility for shipping. Granted Sizzle can't do much on this as I'm sure it due to Canada Post transferring to America USPS but I've given up on receiving any product. I even have Cameras and the like setup at my house with alerts for my driveway and door with no indication of even an attempted delivery. Better yet USPS will alert me for what mail is going to be delivered with scans and pictures and they haven't even indicated once that it was on it's way. $26 down the drain that I am going to see if I can refute.

Update: As of yesterday before I tried to get a refund, the product finally arrived. Ordered April 13th, Shipped around April 23rd, delivered 2 months after order. The popcorn is great, mainly the ketchup and salt & vinegar being the best in my opinion. 2 month wait? Not worth it. Popcorn quantity? For $26 I'd say it's worth it for what you get. Cheddar and Mexican Chili were alright but over all the popcorn is super light and fluffy. They did really well with it. Just don't expect to get this quickly in the US which is a shame. Ordered Maple Coke from Quebec from an online store once and that took 3-4 weeks versus 8-9. Maybe it's because of the US's own fault but that I can't be sure of.

tl:dr Good Popcorn, expect to wait a while in the US.

Sidenote: There was also some issues with Sizzle moving around during the time of the order. All I can ask is that you guys try and get tracking info to your customers if at all possible and communicate more effectively the lengthy wait times on purchase as I don't recall any indication of that. Instead I get asked to review Popcorn from an automated system that then tells me it might be a while. Might consider ordering again.

I still have yet to get my order and…

I still have yet to get my order and it's been about a month since my order was placed. Can't rate the product yet but waiting for a month it's kinda outrageous.

Update.
I waited till the 22nd of the mobth to reach out hoping the order would arrive. It is now the 29th, still no order and no response from the company. I asked for them to look into what was going on with it and update me and if they couldn't to please refund me. So far I have gotten no response from them. As of now cannot recommend.

Fine product Bad Shipping service.

EDIT:I have come back to put in an update. After a long bit of waiting it did deliver an I would recommend the product as a whole. Though to give it a 5 star for me they'd have to do something about the issue either finding a new carrier or better informing customers about shipping times taking longer than expected.

This is my second email from Sizzle Popcorn asking for a review of the product saying I can reply to the email. So I did, yet I'm still in the same spot as before hand. My review as of now of the product is unsure because I still haven't received the product and I can't give any other review other than saying that I will be willing to give a review review of the product once I get it. Yes I do know that I order it during a busy time frame and it informed me of it by saying it might take 10 days before being shipped but it's been a month and I still haven't gotten the product. So until I get a the product this review will be staying up and maybe will continue to stay up do to the lack of basic shipping information and the continuation of emailing customers about review a product after expressing not receiving it

Six Flavor Pack

I got the six flavor pack and was not disappointed. All flavors have a great taste, especially the cheddar and maple, but my favorite is the ketchup flavor.

I was unsure what to order so this made it easy to try them all.

The only negative would be the shipping but going in I knew there would be a longer wait with crossing the border and just the slowness in general with the postal service. None of which is something that Sizzle can control. The biggest thing I would recommend is to pay the extra for the shipping with tracking so you know where your order is.

Deceptive shipping policy’s

Deceptive shipping policy’s. Says free shipping to Canada over 34$ but it doesn’t apply to western Canada. At no point does the shop make note of this. contacting customer support took a week and no resolution just a partial coupon.
