We want to expressly thank Luke Jeffries, the Customer Care person with Skandium, for handling a complex purchase from afar. The order was placed by me in the US but the U.K. delivery label was missing a house number and went back to DPD. Luke sorted that out first but, once the package was correctly delivered, damage had been done to the package and the contents had shattered en route. Luke then fielded queries from both me and my daughter, the recipient of the gift, and immediately arranged that a replacement Iittala platter be sent to her Oxford address. Luke was marvelously responsive to both of us in rectifying the problems with the shipment. We are very impressed as don't usually encounter such quick and attentive customer service here in the U.S.

One of the best delivery experiences I’ve had
One of the best delivery experience I’ve had! Received a message with the exact number of minutes before my order would arrive (!!), my package was carried up a total of 6 full flights of stairs, unpacked, put together and then the huge box was removed and taken back. Thank you!

Excellent customer service from Luke
I recently contacted Skandium when my Vipp kettle developed a fault. Luke could not have been more helpful and quickly arranged for a replacement unit to be shipped out directly. Fantastic communication and a great customer experience. Highly recommended.

Very efficient delivery carried out by David. All done remotely as I was at work and my 10 year old had to answer the door!
I do have an issue with Skandium as the chair that I ordered took 5 months to arrive - but that was not David’s fault!

You can't speak to anyone
WE had a damaged package arrived and then cancelled all packages but they then arrived taking up room in our house and we can never get hold of ANYONE!!!
This is the third time this has happened to us.

Although products took a while to arrive due to supply chain issues, Luke Jeffrey from their customer services Dept. has been very responsive and dealt with my queries immediately, refunding my money without any hassle when I cancelled an order. I’ll definitely shop with Skandium in the future.

Why bother.
Why bother.. I am truly sadden of what skandium have become. As a long time Scandinavian expat in London I loved the "lifeline" to home - and as a design-lover absolutely cherished to their foresight, insight & love. Also the service level was just next to none. Appreciate times are tougher now that in the golden Chelsea Townhouse days, but really. I do not want to slant and share my many broken experiences here. I have just arrived at the point of Why Bother and it breaks my heart. I find no vibe, no trustworthiness (want a 20% discount - just call them), no passion - I honestly doubt there is a Scandinavian left..

Ordered a month ago and still waiting!
Bought two Hay flat pack light shades 24days ago and still waiting for an update.
Customer service over email don’t respond and their call CS told me it was going to be shipping a couple weeks ago and to just wait.
Really unimpressed! If I was Hay or another stockist I would be concerned.
Sadly will be avoiding in the future.
Hoping my lights will arrive sometime this year 🙁

4 months after ordering (and paid
4 months after ordering (and paid! + transportation costs to Belgium) a woodnotes rug, it's still not been dispatched, emails remain unanswered. I do not know what to do to get may rug or reimbursement. Awful experience that cost me a lot of money.
