We love these barefoot shoes. My son (5) does not know anything else. Both of us are wearing them.

I'm a big fan of real barefoot walking, so without anything at all. However, this limits my barefoot activity when autumn is coming. Thanks to a friend, I discovered Skinners. My first pair is great for walking or hiking now in autumn when my feet are getting cold too quickly. The feeling is like being with socks at home.
By mistake, I ordered the wrong size at first. Returning it and getting the refund was no problem at all thanks to the very helpful and friendly customer support.
Let's see how long-living my pair of Skinners will be. But I'm already sure, it will not be my last one.

Nothing to complain about customer service. 4 stars for the product: great idea, good realization but still some issues.
I purchased model 2.0. Even if this is supposed to be larger than the previous model, particularly in the toe box area, is still to snug for people used to wear barefoot/minimal shoes. Is not that bad, but I suggest going 1 size up even if so the "shoe" is too long.
Another good fix would be implement a material that does better with smell, like wool. I don't know if is possible without creating a durability issue, though.
Finally some pros: 1) great underfoot sensitivity (if you take the insole away), and 2) they look pretty ok, I mean people sometime say "are you wearing socks!?", but this is much better than wearing vrimbram fivefingers.
PS even if I think I will still go with vrimbram KSO evo or V-alpha as running/sport shoe, I would like to try a skinners fivefingers one day.

They look like they're nice rubber coated socks but they were over 1/2 inch too big with a sock on and were really loose on my foot.
I put a clean sock on my foot and tried one of the skinners on without walking in it and kept it very clean.
When I realized the socks were not going to work I asked for an exchange and they offered me 30% off saying it wasn't worth it to pay an additional $10 shipping to return it plus an additional $10 to send another pair my way... I basically paid $80 for a pair of socks that do not fit, and if I wanted to get the proper size at this point they would most definitely cost me over $100!?
There could be more information about how you would want a snug fit or they can make more of an effort to make the sizes more customizable so that you're insured a snug fit. I am a 10.5 I got the recommended Large and my foot's actually a Medium.
Perhaps there's a way to shrink them to fit my feet? Which is my next experiment because I can't afford to be sending these socks across the world to get the proper size.
Oh yeah and they took five business days to reach me.

I am very happy with my barefoot shoes. Unfortunately I received a (in german) monday product. The sole wasn't waterproof and had little holes. But customer support helped very quickly and friendly and refunded me at once.

This has been my best online shopping experience ever by far. I ordered late at night and early the next day I got an email saying that I would receive my order the very next day. I thought “Yeah, right. There's no way that's going to happen.” But it did! The next day UPS delivered my shoe socks (and the shipping was FREE! WOW. Note: I live in Greece and they ship from Czechia.)

I was afraid they were going to be too small, but I followed their advice to size down if you're between sizes, and they are the perfect length. I would have appreciated it if they were just a little bit wider in the toe area, but because the material is very stretchy. It's not really an issue.

In the instructions inside the box, they advise you to use them mostly on soft ground and say that if you constantly wear them on asphalt, their lifespan is going to get reduced. For three days now. I've been wearing them everywhere and they are super comfortable.

The insole sometimes moves a little inside the shoe shock. So I'm thinking of taking it out. With the insole, I think they offer the perfect balance between being barefoot and being protected outside.

My only fear is that the shoe socks are going to break down fast. At 55 € with free shipping, if you buy two pairs, I think it's fantastic value for money. As long as they don't break down.

Bonus: the customer support team on Instagram replied to my questions quickly and professionally.

I ordered it, got it. Sent it back because it was too big and I also didn't like it. I had to send it back on my own cost! Didn't get money back!!!

Edit: They said i'll still get a refunf even if it's lost by the shipping. It seems they care about us after all :)

I found the Skinners team very helpful solving some problem with my Skinners and later changing sizes after I tried a smaller size but it was too small for me. I have narrow feet so wanted to try if a smaller size woud not fit me better. Communicated over messanger and got a friendly supoort with what I needed. Thanks!!!

Finally received the product even though it was sent to the wrong address. Fits perfectly.

Super comfortable. I run with it, cycle with it, and walk with it. Wear it, but feels like barefooted.
Make everyone stare at your foot and hopefully be jealous

The socks fit nicely, although I needed to get used to how they feel during walking. On a soft underground (beach/forest) they do provide a really nice walking experience as you are in contact with the ground. Very nice! I would not recommend going "off road" because your feet will shift around too much in the sock. So they are mostly for an easy walk, and they do not replace your hiking shoes. Skinners do make a nice addition to your walking gear.

Customer support was very good. After two walks I had a split in the bottom layer on the heel of the left sock, and after contacting Skinners customer support they send me a new pair within the week!

I received five pairs, and they are great. They are worn daily in all sorts of activities. They never leave my feet. The fit conforms perfectly. I traverse from home to pavement to gravel to all kinds of terrain, and they are not only comfortable, but they are also are protective to the soles and provide enough grip to carry on my most eager mission. These can go from aqua conditions to the desert floors of the Sonoran Desert of the Great Southwest of The USA without a slip, miss, or give!

Prompt delivery! Unfortunately one of the boxes had the wrong sized skinners in them. Wrote an email and within 24hrs had a reply and in another 72hrs had a new correct size pair.
Kids love tham and can't wait to let them try them out on our camping trips.

I've been minimalist running for 3ish years in toe shoes and was looking for something even lighter but that would still protect my feet. I found Skinners a year ago and really liked them, running around park, heath and woods, and even a bit on the road. They work really well with toe shoes underneath. I don't understand the negative reviews, which all seem to be about shipping/customer service, which isn't really their fault (if you're in the UK, it's Brexit's fault). I've got them as 'quirky' presents for two others who have been surprised how much they like them

First of all, the size chart didn’t get me a good fit. I can wear them but they are pretty floppy. Customer service offered a 30% discount on another size pair. I would be tempted but I decided that these socks turn my feet into crud magnets. Not worth the price, even at a discount

Received the product a week ago, and product is not any better.

Terrible quality, way way way over-priced, these should retail for around £12 per pair. One pair came apart at the heel after wearing 3 times indoors. Don't buy these, they are dreadful.

Like others have been saying, they provide the worst customer support. You measure your shoe size with their thing before ordering, and they will still send you shoes one or two sizes bigger... No way to exchange for new pairs (if you don't want to pay double your shoes price in shipping) or to get a refund. Product looks great, but they're very bad at fulfilling their promises.
