Driver drove around my neighborhood forever then texted me saying he couldn’t contact me so he left it on the corner. It was a lie. He didn’t call or message. He kept the order too otherwise he would have posted a photo.

They never deliver your food properly and you are never refunded. I complained twice in a few months for not receiving my whole order and they ghosted me and told me my account would no longer be active.

The worst service ever and the worst app out there for people wanting to get independent work. I have scheduled and tried to book several hours during the week and I’m not getting anything and I’m not able to add any delivery zones. The Support team is absolutely useless. And I’ve actually deactivated my customer account for Skip the dishes as well and I know a lot of people and they’ve done the same because they’ve experienced horrible service from Skip the dishes and they have my story about trying to become a delivery person. I cannot believe that they charge $20 for a background check and they even have no shifts available. They’re oversaturated with drivers already and they took my application anyway luckily I have another gig on the site but it is absolutely a joke do not use Skip the dishes they are just as bad as DoorDash if not worse. DO NOT use to skip the dishes and boycott this company.

SkipTheDishes has turned into one of the worst customer experiences I’ve dealt with.
This isn’t a one-off mistake—it’s a pattern.
Items are missing from orders, but you’re still charged in full. Then you’re pushed into a chat box on their site “support” system that is clearly just bots looping scripted responses. You’re told a refund will be issued—but instead you get credits (if anything), while your actual money is left tied up.
In my case, the refund reversal got stuck, effectively freezing my funds and impacting my card. So not only are you charged for items you never received—you can’t even access your own money properly afterward because of their double charging scam
I asked over 30 times for a manager or supervisor contact info —NOT ONCE was it acknowledged or provided. Every request was ignored or deflected. There is no escalation, no accountability, and no real customer service.
And when you call this out? The chat gets ended.
At this point, this goes beyond bad service.
Skip the dishes is a scam operation.
Avoid at all costs—this is exactly what it looks like when another large global giant platform taking advantage of Canadian customers and provides no accountability when things go wrong.
Following up with the Prime Minister. He doesn’t like scammers.

Do you guys want me to call 911 and file a thief complaint so you can finally refund my missing coffee?
All of this because the Restaurant didn't bring us the Coffee we ordered.
Now imagine if more was missing how much more hell we would have to go through. Ridiculous how you treat your repetitive customers. Especially those who only ask for a refund when something is truly wrong.
You're all pretty much useless at this point. Just wasting our time and creating more stress, then want us to pay for their mistakes. Crazy all around. We're not the villains, you guys are making us act like ones because you're treating us like we've done something wrong.
I don't blame some people who do chargebacks anymore.

I wasn't the one that i ordered through skip but I was left the delivery at my door and he must've bolted as I answered within seconds of the doorbell...it ŵas order from tim hortons on leslie street...there was jo address on reciept(I have made review yo tims) but I did call and there was no way to get ahold of driver for address...I just really wanted to give it to my disappointed neighbor

If skip wants to improve their horrible ratings, maybe improve your customer service, or require messaging verification before a driver takes off.
Ordered arrived before requested time.
I places two orders. One for kfc and one for pizza for a birthday party at 5. I double checked both orders and both said delivery st 5. The kfc order was delivered at 1:30. Spoke to skip and they said that the order was for asap. I advised that I checked the order before placing and they said there was nothing that they could do. People are coming for a birthday party at 5 and will have cold and old food. No help from customer service and receipt only shows the time ordered not the requested time. Will not be ordering from them again. Sooner pay the high gas costs to get it myself.
Another Terrible SKIP Experience
I placed a simple order today for a small pizza and a 2L Bottle of 7-Up. The courier arrived without the 7-UP. The courier told me they just take what they're handed at the restaurant. In other words, they have no idea what they are supposed to be delivering and thus arrive at customer's doorsteps with missing items. I contacted customer service and they told me that couriers can't know what's in the order so they can't tamper with it. THAT IS IDIOTIC !!! I demanded a refund for the pop and a refund for the service fees. They refunded the pop but not the service fees. I am finished with SKIP. This has happened more than once and they are completely incompetent and don't value their customers.

Placed a $60 order through Skip
Placed a $60 order through Skip, it didn't take long for the order to arrive, however $20 of the order didn't even make it. On top of that there was someone else that had ordered something from the same place that was included in our order. Missing items, order completely incorrect. I understand the order accuracy is on the restaurant but if the order comes with drinks and they still don't deliver I feel some of it is on skip too. Contacted online customer service to report the issue with the order, the representative wanted a picture of the order, I'm on a PC at the time. Told the rep this and he said without the picture of the order he couldn't help me. Not the first time we've had issues with missing items. Chances are the drivers are helping themselves to some food at the expense of the customer. Can't confirm this obviously, but what I can confirm is we won't be using this service ever again. 50/50 chance your food arrives cold, and another 50/50 chance your order is wrong or missing items. Save your time and money and just get it yourself.

Can no longer trust Skip…
Placed an order online with Skip and on the online tracker showed driver Gurjit going to the location to start shopping, then suddenly it switched to delivered all under 5 minutes time.
First it is impossible to receive then shop and deliver in 5 minutes.
This is theft pure and simple.
Contacted customer support via text and texted with Abhijeet who first said would refund a would have to wait up to 10 business days for which is unacceptable. He later committed to refund in 2 hours. Waited the 2 hours and no refund. Contacted customer support again and they said agent ment it would take them 2 hours to process the claim and would still have to wait up to 10 business days for the refund.
They lied and tricked their way.
This isn't a simple reimbursement for a substitution but a complete failure to fulfill the order.

Customer service will waste your time. On average it takes 6-10 minutes to reply per message, in the app help section. This seems intentional. Customer service reps don’t read or respond to concerns appropriately. Points feature is useless and despite ordering frequently no points accumulate. I think I’d prefer to order from the restaurant directly and SKIP using skip-the dishes. My time is valuable too and skip doesn’t seem to honour that. I’ve had this experience many times and will be permanently deleting this app.

Classic "Bait and Switch"
I was sent a personalized E mail at 9:30 AM offering a 50% discount with a "JUNOS" code. Sounds wonderful! Got people together for dinner got the order organized and placed the order at 4 PM, to ensure in worked as it did say it was "limited". And the discount was not applied and was no longer valid. Instead I was given a 12% discount. About 1/4 of the advertisement. How many of these JUNO discounts were given out? A small handful? Smells like a classic "Bait and Switch" to me.
Skip - terrible service and getting worse
I have used skip the dishes quite often, but each time it keeps getting worse. Tonight my order was incomplete, it was cold and the delivery charges were very high. The only thing I got was a refund of $7.97 for a soup in skip the dishes money. If the order isn’t wrong, it’s cold or it doesn’t show up at all. Terrible service - would suggest you go elsewhere.
Food Not Delivered, No Refund Given
Rating should be zero stars. I placed a $33.60 food order, including a 15% tip, and the order was not delivered. It was a simple order from Chipotle, to a house that was extremely easy to find. We never received any delivery confirmation, just a survey to rate the driver.
Despite multiple attempts to communicate with customer service, Skip The Dishes refused to refund my money. There was no way to speak to an actual agent - only chat bots and email. I received an email saying that due to the high number of refund requests made they would not acknowledge my refund or communicate any further about the issue. I made one request for one refund, period.
So essentially the driver stole our order and we are on the hook for paying for it. This is just unacceptable, and the customer service I received was absolutely terrible. Do not use Skip The Dishes.
