Worst service ever
Worst service ever, refuse to use them ever again, rather go hungry. Good chance you’ll never get your order, drivers steal your food, make stops on the way while your food grows cold, and they don’t care. Customer service is non existent, chat is useless and doubt they even speak English. Just go pick it up order directly from restaurant for delivery. Save your money and time, and your sanity, just say no to Skip.
Horrible company
If I could give minus scores, I would. The app has a glitch and my order was put through twice. They do not have a customer service number to reach. The AI chat takes forever and by that time both orders were made by restaurant. I was charged for 2 orders, received just one. As I asked to cancel the second order that was a glitch. They canceled the glitch order but still charged me . They took 75.00 for an order that was cancelled and not delivered.
My order showed up ice cold
My order showed up ice cold. Cheese on the poutine wasn't even melted. When I complained about it I was only given 50 percent of the meal in a xxxx credit. I needed hot food. This experience will stop me from using skip from now on
Skip Scammed Me Out of $650
I ordered roughly $100 worth of food from a restaurant and was notified that the order was cancelled. I retried the order a few times with the same results. I moved to a second restaurant and had the same result, each time saying the order could not be completed. I ordered from a third restaurant and it went through. When I received the order, three had shown up despite two being indicated as cancelled. When I checked my orders Five additional orders were cancelled yet all eight were charged to my credit card. Customer service told me they couldn't refund any of these orders. This is blatant extortion.
HORRIBLE SERVICE! - 3 strikes your out
I order 4 items from a restaurant. I tracked the driver. Saw that they stopped for a couple of minutes 2 blocks from my house (there were no other houses in the vicinity where they stopped). They arrived and gave me my order. Driver left. I could tell that the bag was opened. Two of the items were missing. I phoned the restaurant. They said the driver missed picking up the rest of the order and they offered me a refund. I asked for them to deliver my order. They said I should contact Skip, which is hard to do. And this should not be my problem. I went into Chat SKip - they said that they could refund me. I indicated that I wanted the rest of my order but if they refunded me then they had to refund my entire tip as well. They initially said no but I said it is criminal to accept my tip for goods I did not receive. They reluctantly said they would refund the tip. HORRIBLE SERVICE. And I think there are a lot of dishonest drivers. This has happened twice previously. Skip account is done. I have been a decent customer who tips quite well - not that it should matter. I feel this company is fraudulent.

I brushed my teeth and am going to bed hungry because skip the dishes has failed to deliver our order (or assign a courier) after 3 hours. The customer service (ai bot) just told us to be patient and that they wouldn’t give us a refund and ended the chat right after I sent a message. We just cancelled and reordered from the same restaurant using Uber Eats and it took 20 minutes. 20 minutes…!! <3 Please do better… embarrassing.

The one time my family ordered from skip the driver said we didn't get drinks (we did) so we called the store they said they gave the driver our drinks (four drinks btw). Not only that it was way over priced and we have the driver a good tip. Yet they basically stole four (all) our drinks. Skip is B's and a scam
unethical business practices.
this company is holding my money hostage. i asked for a refund, as my driver waited down the street for the restaurant to close, and after already waiting nearly an hour, i was told by the restaurant (after calling) that i should cancel my order.
now we skip to the cancellation: i told the skip representative i had the displeasure of interacting with that i wanted my card refunded as i do not want to spend my money here any longer… and i’m writing this after receiving an email that they decided to refund me in skip credits.
complete and utter failures run that company — not to mention the unethical practices of forcing consumers to continue to use their service by means of ignoring the method in which they are refunded.
Always an issue
We had 2 orders coming to our home. Driver went right past our house and 39 minutes over the bridge to another stop first then our home. Food was pretty much soggy and very cold. Not sure why he past right by our house and continued 40 minutes in the opposite direction. Order before that, delivered to another house, before that delivered to wrong house and so on.

I order food for my friend and I at 5:30, said it would take roughly an hour. An hour passed and it said it would still take 80 minutes. Once it reached the two hour mark, I contacted support. They did not care at all. Told me my food would be there eventually and that there was a driver connected to my order. My driver hadn't moved for 15 minutes and the customer service person was annoyed that I was frustrated. I ended up cancelling my order as it was 2.5 hours after I ordered and my friend had to leave. Support was awful
Skip the Dishes
Jan 22, 2026. I placed an order with Skip which never arrived. The courier called me and had wrong house number. I gave him correct house number, he was only 3 doors away, he never arrived with it. I used their Chat with Courier feature and he was not online. I immediately tried to contact Skip. I waited for almost an hour for an "Advisor".(Jean C) she was no help. She insisted I input wrong address. I tried explaining that driver had called me and I gave him correct info and that he was only 3 doors away and I never got my order. Didn't make a difference, my fault. I have an account and when I log in my address automatically comes up I had verified it was correct address. No, it was my fault, I gave wrong info Most that they could do was 50% refund. For what. I got nothing and I have to pay for the "privilege" of getting nothing.
Brutal
I used Skip the Dishes for the first time and it asked my location for the delivery and then for detailed information which I entered to tell my suite and the 2nd floor and noted the name of our medical clinic which includes the City in the name. I got a call from a delivery guy in the wrong city - somehow they had an address in another city. I'm sure part of it is my first time trying to navigate their app but I reached out to Skip the Dishes and they just said no refund. No effort to remedy the situation. They were rude when we replied and said we would never get a refund now or ever again on our account(Muideen O. and Deen were the staff that replied). Please use any other delivery service!!!

They delivered to a wrong address then told me I needed to go pick it up, even though the map showed exactly where I live. They sent an email saying 1/2 would be refunded to my credit card and sent a 2nd email telling me the other 1/2 would be refunded in Skip credits. Never got the Skip credits. When I contacted support, they just said I should not have gotten the 2nd email and he ended the chat before I could respond. Several times food was delivered cold. I switched to Uber Eats. I will never use Skip again. And they really couldn't care less about it's customers.
Driver delivered to wrong street… AGAIN
The map showed the driver missed the turn to my street. I immediately sent a chat saying he was going to wrong house. Sent a follow up 40 seconds later. Driver ignored both and delivered to the wrong house. On was not using Skip’s app because it knows where my house is.
Contacted customer support. They processed credit to my card that I won’t get for 10 days. They don’t read my messages, and advised me to contact the driver even though I told them I did and driver ignored me. I asked, politely but firmly, for an explanation of why this keeps happening. The customer service rep ghosted me.
I really wanted to use a. Canadian company. But they’ve screwed up and delivered to wrong house as many times as they’ve got it right.
Skip is the WORST delivery service…
Skip is the WORST delivery service going. Almost every single order I have had has missing items or items I never ordered. Skip has now said that I have had to many refund requests and has banned me from any future refunds. If the restaurants would educate themselves and actually get the orders correct than customers would not have to request so many refunds. Customer service agents are so very rude and ignorant. A lawsuit should be filed against Skip the Dishes for everything. DO NOT use this app unless you want pure resentment, frustration, poor service and tons of lost money.
