NOT WHAT I PAID FOR - BEWARE
I ordered bluestone crazy paving which was described in Stone & Slate Discounts ads and brochure as "irregular shaped" with "offcut from slabs so will have some straight edges". NOPE! Apart from only one reasonable sized irregular paver out of 40m2 every other piece was square or a narrow rectangular paver with every paver having all straight edges unless they were broken. Obviously dumping their seconds and/or discarded stock on me. Not fit for crazy paving without hand shaping every corner and trying to resize them to artificially make them 'irregular shaped'. Plus they were two thicknesses just to make laying them problematic. No accountability and no satisfactory resolution either. Their manager said that's how they get them from the supplier and they don't know what's on the pallet, despite being wrapped in Slate Discounts wrap and half a pallet being unloaded their end. But he was willing for me to pack them back up and he would replace them - for a substantial additional cost! This even though he admitted they were 'recycled' so they didn't have to bury them! Despite supplying them with images of their square and rectangular cut pavers, they also later claimed online that straight lines are natural in stone. To state the bleeding obvious, square and rectangular cut pavers are not natural straight lines! Another word of advice - compare their claimed star ratings with the actual review sites. If you want quality and want to get what's advertised, go elsewhere.
