Awful experience

Awful experience, delivery was fast, I’ll give them that. Sizing is way off. Quality wasn’t great, and the fit was terrible.
As for returning items, where do I start. I ordered 4 items in total, raised a return for two of the items so I could order smaller sizes. I then decided I would return the other two items from the first order. One for a refund and the second for an exchange as the first item was faulty. This made me create a second label, however I didn’t want to pay twice for postage so I sent it all back in one parcel. I also emailed customer service to let them know what I had done and I was assured I would not be charged twice for the postage. So guess what, I got my refund and I was charged twice for the postage.
My exchange item was delivered and new leggings in a smaller size, as they were still of poor quality and the smaller size was still ill, fitting I decided to send them back. The top I exchanged made me pay £3.99 postage upfront to send it back, I emailed customer service and they said to create a return for the leggings but put them in with the top and again, I would not be charged for the postage. I also put a clear note in the package, explained I’d payed the postage, and put both order numbers on. Once again I have been charged for the second returned item. I have emailed again and there seems to be a lot of confusion as to how I paid the postage upfront. I don’t know, it was there system that made my pay for the item I swapped upfront. It’s very poor that the staff don’t know how it works and that I’m explaining it to them. Basically you have to create a return and you have no choice but to pick a postage method, you can not create a return without this step. You will be charged regardless of how many orders you are sending back in one parcel. Even if you email 20 times to inform them and even if you put a note in with the items, they don’t have the ability to see that the label hasn’t been used. So many people will have been ripped off, they are trying to tell me I’m the only person experiencing difficulty.
I will never use this company again, the quality is very poor, the items are massively over priced. I’d rather pay that bit extra and shop at Nadine Merabi for amazing quality and fit.

We appreciate there was a misunderstanding with the returns cost on our behalf and we apologies for any miscommunication. We have recently introduced a new returns system, in an effort to streamline and improve returns for both UK and international customers.
It's also to ensure all returns are logged and processed with ease before returning to our warehouse to be processed. Our team are actively working on our portal to ensure that such issues do not reoccur in the future, and they have since resolved the issue you reported to us.
Looking at the return records we can see your returns cost has been deducted for both orders and the issue you faced has been resolved.
We cannot see any email communication regarding a quality issue mentioned.
If you would like to provide further details on this please get in touch with our Customer Service team and we will happily look over this for you. We are sorry you were unhappy on this occasion and hope you may give us another go in future.

DO NOT PURCHASE

DO NOT PURCHASE. SCAMMY INFLUENCER SITE.

Ordered a glitter jacket for my wedding and:

1) The quality was TERRIBLE, super cheap even from afar. Anyone else must be a fake review.
2) The glitter was shedding immediately, so much so that it was all over the package. If I wore it it'd get everywhere.
3) Did not fit at all. I'm a US 2 and 5'8", ordered the smallest size and was swimming in it, not in a cute way like the photos.
4) RETURNS ARE IMPOSSIBLE. The jacket cost $100. Returning it would cost $60 shipping and SLA does not offer any help. SUCH A SCAM - NOTHING ON THE WEBSITE IMPLIED THAT COULD HAPPEN.

Given the difference between what I ordered in terms of quality and the terrible return experience I've actually flagged them with my credit card. Do not buy, believe the other reviews like this and RUN.

As a smaller brand, we unfortunately cannot provide assistance with return costs as we note on our website. As carriage costs are specific to each carrier, and varies service to service, country to country and day to day, we unfortunately cannot advise or offer guidance on how much it may cost you to return, which is why we do not elaborate on this on our website.
We always encourage our customers to read our information section and shop around as we note on our website so you can get the best cost depending on the service you are looking to use. Ordered a jacket,which was far too big…

Ordered a jacket,which was far too big for its stated size so returned it and bought a smaller one .The original was sent back buy their own barcode and now over two weeks later still no REFUND and impossible to get through to customer services.Not very impressive !!!!!

Brilliant customer service

Brilliant customer service. Very quick responses and quick to action anything with them. I have reached out on a few occasions and they have responded positively and unlike majority of clothing brands out there. The quality of clothing is also great. 10/10

SHOCKING!! AVOID!! So many reasons not to buy

Horrific experince online shopping in 2024, I didn’t think companies still operated like this - scamming as much money out of customers as possible, using an influencer as the face of the brand but can’t get the basics right like quality and sizing. They do not offer free returns, regardless of the reason! I had to order multiple sizes as they were all backwards online, none of them fit correctly unless you have a BBL and Breast enlargement. The most awful quality at not a cheap price, PLT quality but 3 times the amount of money. Took them over 24 hours to reply to my email. Paid £5.49 to return all the items as not a single one was suitable, so basically I may as well just set fire to a fiver not waste my time. Will never buy again

Definitely don’t recommend

Not worth it! And definitely don’t buy anything glitter. It comes right off. My skin and clothes are FILLED with glitter. There’s also fringed fabric. And I’ve seen more people saying this. The sizes are SMALL. I’m an S or M in tops and the L is too small for me. Really disappointed that a female owned company does not cater better to female bodies. There’s ranges for xxs and xs for some items while the L is equal to a normal S. And for returns I have to arrange myself = a fortune since it’s UK. I already spent a lot of slow shipping. On top of that they misguide you with their marketing. They say there’s sale “side wide” when it’s in fact only very selected items that were in sale. Non of my friends will buy from here either after seeing this.

Luxury, gorgeous brand!

I ordered the bronze Aries top, and can I say its the most beautiful top I've ever bought!! I also ordered Niamh top, and that's gorgeous to wear with jeans and heels! The customer service team is also great, replied within a few hours and my order was delivered within 2 days of placing it! Outstanding service, SLA label is simply the best brand out there! x

Impossible Returns

I love the clothes from SLA, particularly the blazers but their customer service is terrible!
Back in May i ordered some glittery outfits for my hen party, paid for my returns but never got my money back from my order.
Fast forward to December and i decide i’ll try SLA the label one last time for Christmas outfits, the dress i ordered is completely see through so i try and return it. The company have made returns so difficult. It says ‘we will email a copy of your returns label in case you don’t have a printer’ which i don’t because it’s 2023 and it’s the digital era… but no returns label has ever come through (i’ve waited 2 days for this).
I feel like once you buy from SLA you are guaranteed to lose money if you don’t want your items. Be 1000% sure you want your items before purchasing

Obsessed with it all

I’ve shopped on SLA numerous times over the last few years, from grandad shirts, to bikinis, to dresses. Sizing is spot on. Quality is unreal. The sparkles are just something else.

Amazing brand

Amazing brand, have quite a few items from here and the quality is amazing! I always get lots of compliments when I wear them too!
I also had an issue with one of my items and they resolved it so quickly, really 10/10 customer service!
Couldn’t recommend more! ☺️

The quality of the clothing is top tier…

The quality of the clothing is top tier and unlike any other😍😍 I ordered the Mayfair Diamonte top and the quality of it was amazing and so figure hugging, it also arrived really quickly all in all such an amazing brand. Definitely worth the price!

I purchased from the site during the…

I purchased from the site during the Black Friday discounts. I ordered the drew set, a top and sweatpants and I have to say they exceeded my expectations. the quality of the products is excellent.
The customer service offered is also excellent. They were able to help me and gave me answers to a problem I encountered.
I will definitely order from this site again in the future.

Amazing in every aspect!

The pieces look even better in person. The design, quality and brand overall knock every single thing out of the park. The glitter suits are even more amazing in person, and the sequin dress is to die for. So flattering on different body types. Amazing brand!
