Difficult to get belt to right length and it then slips through the metal buckle (although slowly). Entire process is awkward although still better than unrestrained animal.

Honestly it wasn’t a great experience
Honestly it wasn’t a great experience, the medium didn’t fit my dog so I messaged customer service, with no response for days I returned the item and ordered a small, then they said that wouldn’t work with my dogs weight so that was cancelled. I wasn’t even given the money back for shipping very frustrating

Great product and fast shipping
I love this product. We used the original Sleepypod with my older dog for nine years, and it gave me peace of mind on every car trip. We just bought the Terrain model for our 50-pound dog—the medium fits her well and the build quality is excellent. I never drive without securing my dogs, and when our new puppy is full-grown she’ll get her own Sleepypod too. I always encourage dog parents to invest in a truly crash-tested harness for safety, and recommend sleepypod.

The Pod is very well-made
The Pod is very well-made. The negatives are its weight- heavy. Also, the Velcro to hold the door open is very small and comes open by itself- not effective. How easy would it be to have a decent size piece of Velcro so it works? I think I will modify it myself.

Fantastic Company and Product
Fantastic company and product. We have two Poms that mean the world to us so we bought Sleepypod mobile pet beds for both. It's worth every penny knowing they are safe and comfortable when we travel. There was a slight problem with one when it was delivered, and Sleepypod made it right immediately. Great customer service

Nothing Fits My Dog!
First, I have a corgi, which is a very difficult dog to fit.
My first harness, while it fit on paper, just didn't work in real life. After a quick consultation with a pro at Sleepypod, it was decided to try a different model & size. Son of a gun, it fit!
Two weeks later we took a long road trip with our dog buckle in his Sleepypod. Our fussy puppy was comfortable & relaxed, while we were relieved to know he was much safer than before.

Overall I’m happy with how this functions. On one of my harnesses the reflective tape started falling off the day I got it and within a week was completely gone. That was disappointing for the price of this harness and the S-clip didn’t work well for my seatbelt so I had to make my own modifications. That said I would purchase again. I hope the quality of the reflective stripes gets better or maybe I just got a lemon.

The measurements listed on the…
The measurements listed on the harnesses are not detailed enough, as I purchased two separate harnesses based on the information given for measurement brackets, and neither fit my dog properly (I also needed dimensions on the neck, etc). Weight categories also aren't listed, and I found that information on a different site. I tried to reach out to Customer Service and I found the response time really slow; my last email went 8 days unanswered when I tried to find information on whether one of the harnesses would be safe to use given it was slightly loose. I found this information somewhere else, and realized that my dog isn't within the tested weight category for that harness at a medium size, and so I decided to return it because I couldn't be confident if it was safe, or not, to use.

While the current Sleepypod harnesses address a broad range of dogs, there are some dogs that do not fit well in the two available models. Sleepypod's new model, Clickit Range, addresses a broader range of dogs -- including narrow- and barrel-chested dogs, as well as dogs with long body builds like sighthounds. We anticipate this harness will be available in September. We hope you will keep in touch with us via social media for any announcements on this product.
