I ordered a Nikon D7500 with professional bundle. The camera is good and came with a lot of accessories but they were all made by Ultimaxx which cannot be classed as professional! They are good eno... See more

In 2002, SLR Hut’s founders began offering professional camera and camcorder equipment for sale locally in a retail store. Sales quickly expanded online and offerings were being made globally. Despite the extremely large consumer base that was built up since 2002, they noticed that most people around the world that are in the market for professional camera and camcorder equipment were not getting very good prices. These same products that our Founders were offering to their local market were being sold in the UK and other parts of the world at prices 20% - 40% higher due to manufacturers demanding MSRP pricing, enforced MAP policies with authorized retailers and currency exchange rates. The question was asked, why should consumers have to pay MSRP with such a high markup? Why can't we sell at wholesale price points to the general public? The answer was simple; WE CAN, and WE WILL. The burden of researching each corner of this global market was now placed onto their shoulders. Finally, they had figured it out, since the internet has made this world a smaller place to live and since e-commerce is a global playing field, we followed suit and quickly expand globally, from being one of our nation’s largest online supplier of consumer electronics, to being one of the world’s largest consumer electronics e-tailers. With our founders now focused in on the United Kingdom as their target market, SLRHut.co.uk was born and our brand, dedicated to a UK customer base began to build. We have massive warehouses which are always fully stocked, we also have close ties with manufacturers and distributors worldwide and are ready to fulfill your every need quickly and seamlessly.

quick efficient service
Atrocious Customer Service
Great prices but at the cost of terrible customer service. Good luck getting any response at all in any medium of communication.
I have used this company many times.
I have used this company many times.
Always helpful, always keeps you informed where your parcel is and when it's going to arrive.
I can highly recommend this company.
Not sure about this company
Not sure about this company! Good prices and order paperwork follow up. Bank declined payment as thought it was fraudulent. Found it impossible to contact company so have cancelled my card and purchased elsewhere. Subsequently read other unflattering reviews about this company so be very careful if you're purchasing here.
Arrived a day early, and by far th best price I found...
If I'm honest, yes - I had some reservations and before ordering from SLRHut. I was worried that the price on the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art Lens FE was just to good to be true - with the discount I got it for £904! But I read a bunch of reviews, and checked the usual forums, and felt pretty confident that things were legit - so I commited to buying it. Happy to say, everything went perfectly smooth from that point on. The order does come from the US - looks like New Jersey to be precise - which some people had mentioned in some of the comments I read. The package arrived a day earlier than expected, and was delivered via fedex. I had plenty of notice to say it was out for delivery a day early - so that wasn't an issue (in fact, I was really happy with this!) and I could track the package the whole way here on the FedEx website. The lens arrived packaged well, and was 100% brand new and unused, with all original packaging and usual warranty, instructions and extras in the box. I'll be using them again, it's hard to beat their prices and this experience was about as smooth as you'd expect. Hope this helps others with any concerns. Thanks
Excellent range of products and great service
Excellent range of products with very competitive pricing along with prompt delivery. I'm just getting into photography so I purchased a Nikon bundle which came with everything I need to get started. Highly recommended.
Misleading UK Presence & Compatibility Issues
I ordered a Canon Speedlite 430EX III-RT Flash bundle from SLRHut.co.uk, which included an Off-Camera Hot Shoe Flash Cord, a Flash Bracket, and rechargeable AA batteries with a charger. After receiving no dispatch confirmation, I contacted customer support, only to be informed that the item was obsolete.
I was offered the Canon EL-5 as a replacement for the same bundle price, which I accepted. During the call, I noticed the representative had an American accent, but it wasn’t until I received the dispatch notification that I realized SLRHut actually operates from New York, despite presenting itself as a UK-based retailer.
When the flash arrived a few days later, I discovered that the bundled accessories were completely useless. Since the EL-5 uses its own rechargeable battery, the included AA batteries and charger served no purpose. Additionally, the other accessories in the bundle were not compatible with my Canon R8 camera.
While I am happy with the price I paid for the EL-5, I was slightly less pleased to learn that Canon does not include a charger with this model, meaning I had to purchase one separately. However, in hindsight, this worked in my favor, as I was able to buy a UK version with a proper mains lead instead of a US-supplied charger.
I contacted customer service by email to discuss the issue and did not receive a reply
Overall, while I received a good product at a competitive price, I feel somewhat misled about the nature of the retailer and the suitability of the bundled items. Anyone considering buying from SLRHut should be aware that they operate from the US and that some bundled accessories may not be relevant to the product you receive.
I bought the Nikon P950 Mega Bundle
I bought the Nikon P950 Mega Bundle. Delivery could not be faulted. Good on Fedex. All the way from New Jersey and delivered a day early.
Packaging was great and secure with every thing ordered supplied apart from the memory card.
Apart from that everything was exceptional service.
Exceeded expectations
Completely exceded all expectations in terms of value for money, delivery timescale, communications and customer service.
I bought the Nikon COOLPIX P950 Digital Camera 26532 - Mega Bundle which, had it been the camera alone, came in at about £250 below retail price. This package included a range of added extras though, making the whole bundle even better value for money. I paid by PayPal and received an invoice and order confirmation from SlrHut almost immediately. Delivery was due 20th January which was confirmed to me in a seperate dispatch email from SlrHut.co.uk later the same day, this included the tracking code. (If the tracking code doesn't work straight away give it a few hours. I think this is because it's issued at the time of booking but doesn't become live intil FedEx scan the parcel in). I was able to track using the code on FedEx International no problem and entered my mobile number for delivery updates.
To my complete surprise I received an update from FedEx to say the parcel was due for delivery on the 16th and sure enough, it arrived that aftenoon.
Everything ordered was supplied and very securely packaged as were the accessories. I'm delighted with the camera. It's an amazing bit of kit and I'm looking forward to using it.
There was a small issue with the tripod which was acknowledged, responded to and resolved same day by SlrHut.co.uk. Excellent communication and customer service. Not sure why I've not come across this company before but I've bookmarked the website and will absolutely use again.
Bad experience
I ordered a straightforward camera for my daughter as a birthday present. I did not see any information that the item was coming from the US otherwise I would have not purchased it. The camera arrived but it is not compatible with UK use and it is debatable whether the items (charger, battery), are even original. I have tried contacting the company by email, online form and calling them - nothing. I have no way to send the item back or gain a refund. I am currently discussing the matter with my credit card company but this purchase has just been a waste time.
AVOID THIS COMPANY
Good price for panasonic leica 9mm f1.7
Could have been 5
The order arrived early and was exactly what I was expecting.
All of the parts worked extremely well and I was very pleased with the purchase.
However I paid £80 for a 3 year guarantee and did not receive it.
I also got no feedback from an e-mail and spent over 45 minutes waiting for a phonecall to be answered.
Therefore 4 stars for the equipment but 0 for customer care.
2nd time I ordered gadget from Slrhut…
2nd time I ordered gadget from Slrhut and the experience has been great so far, fast delivery. Hopefully, they keep up the good job
Beware and Avoid SLR Hut.
Beware. SLR retailing is a one person, one share company that is in process of being struck off by Companies House. The company profile that speaks to massive warehouses is untrue.
In this case after failing to find the Nikon lens on the SLR Hut site Ii emailed requesting whether it was in stock. Next the website was manipulated to show the item in stock, so implying immediate and quick delivery. I ordered. Next I asked if there was a second lens in stock. The website was manipulated to show it in stock. I did not reorder and one day later the item was no longer on the site.
After some days the lens, supposedly in stock, was not delivered. I cancelled.
SLR Hut confirmed cancellation but also declared that the item had been accidentally shipped. Days later a FEDEX agent sought to deliver a parcel sent from USA. Delivery was declined and SLR hut have confirmed that they are aware. It appears that SLR hut are seeking to import in the name of the client and are wilfully seeking to avoid duty, VAT and all other charges.
In spite of numerous requests SLR retailing (SLR Hut) have not refunded the £1446 they collected as a charge to my bank account.
10/10 experience
The price attracted me, much lower than other retailers and since I had used SLRhut previously it was a no brainer.
Everything was plain and easy. Order confirmed, shipping and tracking details provided plus my Nikon z8 and Z 70-200 f/2.8 lens arrived 3 days early
10/10 experience and I will continue to buy from this site
This is not a UK company but supplies "Grey"market goods
Purchased believing i was dealing with a UK company, but item was recevied from USA. VAT not included and as this was a company purchase I was not able to claim back.
Im not sure how they can sell goods into the UK avoiding VAT but all seems very odd. It seems i have been sold a "grey" market product
I feel i have been misled as the website give the impression you are dealing with a UK company.
Tried to contact by phone but lost the will to live holding on for them.
I have used SLR Hut a few times now
I have used SLR Hut a few times now, price qualty and on time delivery is second to none, I purchased a Sigma 24-70 Art II amazing lens and a third of the price of Sony keep up the great work I will be a returning customer 100% for all my camera gear Thank you
Order cancelled after 4 hours
I required a set of blades for a DJI Mavic Mini and they had some in, showing in stock, so ordered. Some 4 hours later after payment the order has been cancelled with zero reason given. Paid via PayPal so if a refund is forthcoming promptly, PayPal will be contacted for a refund. It’s only £17 and not hundreds of pounds for camera gear but pointless having a website with “in stock” items - I suspect they didn’t have them in the end. Won’t be returning and requesting they remove my data via the GDPR.
Don't go anywhere near them
Don't go anywhere near them. They cancelled my order with no explanation, didn't refund the payment and didn't reply to any contact. Absolute liability, wouldn't trust them when buying something as much as a DSLR body.
What an amazing service, and the price, WOW incredible
What an amazing service, I placed my order with Steve Sunday afternoon, I received it today, 4days from the US to me in the UK. The staff were very knowledgeable answering any questions I had prier to placing the order. If my daughter doesn't get on with the camera I'll be happy to take it off of her, if she does then I'll be coming back to SlrHut to order another one.
Thank you so much guys
