These fans are awesome
These fans came on time, i have 7 of them, i especially like saying Alexa fans level 10!!!, easy to assemble, good quality, easy to program, and support is responsive, knowledgeable and eager to help as needed. Great fan great product great support.

Great customer service, fantastic prices, great looking fans
We bought three fans before. Any question was promptly answered and they follow up to be sure all is well with the installation of the fans.
We are doing some small home renovations and bought one Striker and one Explorer. I had a small issue come up with one the fans and Hugo promptly took care of it. These look great and work flawlessly every time. My wife loves them as they are quieter than the A/C motored fans they replaced, and she thinks they look 'stunning'. She really enjoys the 'nature' setting on the fan that makes it feel like a window is open and a breeze has come into the room. I like that the D/C motor has 10 settings as opposed to the three for the A/C motored fans. These also take a lot less energy.
We now have 5 DC fans from the same company and we could not be happier. I have used the shortcuts app on my iPhone to make requests to Siri through the HomePod ('Siri, turn on the lights in the master bedroom', or 'Siri, turn off the fan in the master bedroom' -- if you can think it, shortcuts app can make it happen--but be warned, it is a logic based computer programme and can take a bit for other settings like increasing the brightness by 10%).
These fans have a powerful and quiet DC motor and the LED lights are great- they have a cool and warm range and both can be used at the same time. Many LED lights are now cool or warm- not both. Be sure you see how many lumens the light is so that you can be sure that is enough light for your space.
I like using Siri to control stuff, but I find I use the Carro app a lot to change settings. I am not a big fan of the physical remote that comes with the fans- it is less than robust and a bit chunky as the board inside is so thin. nevertheless, they work and that is the point, but the app is way better.
We will be replacing one more fan and adding a new one to my wife's piano room next year with fans from Smafan (bringing us to 7 total).

Not bad
Pros: fully adjustable fan speed so not stuck with just 3 speeds; sits close to the ceiling making it less noticeable.
Cons: The light kept going off and on but I think I kept setting it to start somehow. All good now. The biggie is that it looked cheap, especially the gold "ring" above the light and up into the blades.

Horrible - Run fast away.
Horrible. Zero customer service as only number is in the install guide and it says not taking calls, leave a message. Fan turns off and light turns on at all hours of the day and night. Did everything to trouble shoot. Have 5 of these fans and will be replacing them all. Run, don’t walk, away from this brand/company.

Confused for configuring remotes / apps with 2 fans
I was having difficulty figuring out how to pair remotes and the app with 2 fans. My question to tech support was responded to very quickly and explained how to configure the 2 fan situation and everything is now working great.

Quick shipping, good product
Quick shipping. Better value than big box stores. Fans work well. Quieter and faster than the models they replaced for sure. Only knock would be the fan remote for a couple of reasons. One, the cradle is smaller than it should be. I solved this by using some velcro on the back of the remote and cradle. Two, to pair the remote to the fan you need to kill power for 10mins and then hit a button for 3 seconds on the remote. It's not hard but if you have more than one of these fans on the same circuit you're going to run into the problem I did and one remote will be paired to both fans. If you don't want it that way, and I did not, I had to reinstall the on/off switch to the fan in one of the bedrooms. Again, not the end of the world but still 30min fix to diagnose and fix.

Regarding the remote, it seems there might have been some confusion. To clarify, you only need to turn off the power for about 10 seconds, not 10 minutes, to pair the remote. After restoring power, you can pair the remote by pressing and holding the light button for 3-5 seconds. The successful pairing will cause the fan light to turn off.
Maybe the 10 minutes you saw is how to reset the ceiling fan in troubleshooting. If you saw this "10 minutes" in other places, please let us know so we can correct any misunderstandings.

Smart features make this a truly smart fan
Had this smart fan for a month now, mounted on the kitchen ceiling. I really like the temperature control featured via the app, which can be set to the temperature the fan turns on/off. Both fan and lighting are economical to run. Lighting with two modes is great, warm subtle color for everyday usage, bright white is great for prepping a meal & cooking, the combination of both is great for cleaning. The app offers features that the remote doesn’t, and being able to operate from smart home systems apps simplifies operation even more.
I’m planning on purchasing another one for my office.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Installation was much easier than other ceiling fans that I have installed in the past. I liked the fact that almost all the assembly can be completed prior to hanging the fan.
The fan was easy to sinc with the remote and was is extremely quiet.

This is a great company with great customer service.
This is a great company that produces quality products at great prices. The main reason for buying from SMAFAN is the wonderful customer service that not only includes prompt and courteous service but also includes standing behind their products. Smart fans work very well and look good too. These products create a good feeling of moving air around and providing illumination.
