SO DISAPPOINTED ☹️

So very disappointed that I received a “custom” photo (24x36) family photo of my children with one of the members being cut out of the photo with the exception of her arm.
I immediately contacted Smallwood’s asking why I wasn’t sent an email, telephone call, etc… to let me know that my submitted photograph was going to be altered. I was told:

It does look like the item was printed as it was ordered. Our custom orders are considered final sales as they are specific to you. However, I do understand the importance of wanting to have this item designed as you like. Since this was an honest mistake, I would like to offer you a courtesy.
My courtesy was to pay “half-off” of an additional print! SO for those looking to order a “custom order”…. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PHOTO IS PERFECT AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO POSSIBLE WAY THAT SOMEONE AND/OR SOMETHING CAN BE CUT OFF! “Custom” at Smallwood’s DOES NOT mean that anyone will take any time to make sure the photograph submitted even fits the frame!

100% recommend!

10/10 recommend this company and their prints/frames. FedEx did their typical damage control to our packages and unfortunately two of our prints didn't make it without quite a bit of damage. Despite FedEx being the worst, everything else is perfect! I am BEYOND IMPRESSED with this company and their customer service. The photos and frames are amazing and they quickly rectified the issue with the damaged photos. We will definitely be ordering more in the future.

Amazing customer service

One of my pictures had a large crease in it from damage to the box. I messaged them about it, and they immediately replied saying they’ll send another one asap. I was so thankful! The pictures printed beautifully. I will definitely be a returning customer!

Buyer beware / photos come out darker than what is provided

Buyer beware! Your photos will come out darker than the photo you provided and customer service will not budge on replacing it even after stating that they print their products dark due to “porous material which accepts colors and ink differently than a flat photo” as stated by customer service. This should be advertised so a customer knows what to expect! They did not offer any solution for my 22x44 that will go to waste as you can’t even see my child’s face in the photo due to how dark it was printed. I even offered to purchase a photo refill for discounted price and that option was denied. I will not use this company again.

Amazing Company!

Great company! Prints are amazing and worth every penny. I had an issue with one of my prints getting damaged during shipment. Customer service was amazing and replaced my print without any problems. Will definitely be ordering again!

One of the items I received was…

One of the items I received was damaged. I sent an email and less than 24 hours had a response with a replacement on it's way. BEST customer service ever! The quality is great and am excited to be ordering more SOON!

Smallwood Home is a top notch company…

Smallwood Home is a top notch company and I highly recommend them. I had a clarity problem with a recent purchase and customer service bent over backwards to help. From help filling out the form to the final outcome their team was supportive every step. The prints are very reasonable too

Pictures fixed

I ordered 6 framed pictures and 3 had cropped our heads off in the editing process and i hadn’t realized it. Customer service helped me resolve this issue to get pictures that were the way we wanted.

Amazing company

Amazing company! When they noticed I had edited my photo too much and it would not print correctly, they reached out and fixed it before they printed it. Then, when i got the print in and there was a spot that I wasn't crazy about, they offered to print it with the corrects for a VERY VERY small fee and sent me the new print!

Ordering online was quick and easy

Ordering online was quick and easy. Shipping was fast and our pictures came out beautifully. I can’t wait to hang them in our home! We did have one small issue with one frame but reached out to customer service and received a reply and solution quickly! I would use this company in the future again!

A top notch company!

I have purchased multiple prints from Smallwood Home. The quality of the product is top notch. Production and shipping is FAST! Customer service was beyond amazing when I reached out concerned about the quality of the picture I posted. I highly recommend this company. You wont be disappointed.

Be aware -- no refunds/exchanges on framed prints

I ordered eight medium framed prints from Smallwoods, spending about $426 after coupon, tax, and shipping. Unfortunately, due to a mistake during checkout, I received brown frames instead of the black ones I intended. Since the brown doesn’t match anything in my home, I reached out to customer service to request an exchange. I was told the items were “custom” and therefore non-returnable—even though the Medium frame is advertised as their most popular size and refill prints are sold for it.

The only option offered was to repurchase all eight prints at half price, which would have added more than $240 and brought my total to nearly $660. That simply wasn’t reasonable.

While I appreciate the polite and timely customer service, their no return/no exchange policy for framed prints feels very rigid and not customer-friendly. I had planned to order more, but after this experience I won’t be. My only solution now is to take apart the prints and repaint the frames myself—an incredibly frustrating outcome after such a large purchase.

I share this so other customers know what to expect if they make a mistake when ordering.

Outstanding Customer Service

The customer service was outstanding. Ordering was easy to navigate. I had a resolution issue with one print, contacted their resolution department and the issue was resolved within 24 hours and my replacement print is on the way. I have never experienced the committment to custumer service as I did with Smallwoods. Highly recommend and will continue to order from them

I have ordered six prints to date

I have ordered six prints to date. I have been very impressed with the quality and how quickly I received the finished products. I did have a major issue with one print which was MY ERROR. I contacted Smallwood and had wonderful customer support. I was able to resubmit a new photo and have the framing redone at no cost. The customer service was wonderful.

Great first impressions!

I am impressed with how quickly the support team replied when I submitted my original order and answered all my questions in an easy-to-understand manner.
Even though I have not received the finished product of my order, they have kept all of the steps of the process moving smoothly.
I was referred by a family member who was completely satisfied with their order.
