Good Service

Had a claim on my washer dryer. Smart Sure dealt with it very efficiently and kept me informed throughout the process. Unfortunately they couldn’t repair it but very happy with the new one they replaced it with. Thank you

Very quick and efficient

Great price for a fantastic service. Staff very polite and helpful 99.9% of the time.Excellent for policy, prices, and contents. Had to call out engineer for repair. Turned up on time, identified problem and organized repair Engineer was very helpful and polite.
Very efficient !!

Do NOT use this company!!! Waste of money

I got insurance with this company for a coffee maker.
Unfortunately I had to make a claim, because the coffee maker stopped working properly.
I make the claim at beginning of November 2018, now is Christmas and my coffee maker is still not fixed. I phoned them several times. They said they will investigate. Nothing.
I rather buy other coffee maker.
This is not a good insurance that replace your appliance or fix it quickly. Which is what someone doing this kind of insurance is thinking.
This is definitely NOT that kind of insurance.
I'm not sure how long will still wait for my coffee maker. I got around 2 months now.

This company should be shut down!!

How this company is still trading and hasn't been shut down I don't know, they mislead customers into believing they have taken over their insurance from another company when they have not. You get a nice phone call from a man who used to work for a company I had insurance with and it seems he has taken customers details to the new company he works for, Not only that but you try and call this company and no one answers the phone, I advise anybody reading this to steer well clear and if you have any problems with them report them to the financial ombudsman on 0800 023 4 567

Absolute shambles from start to finish

Absolute shambles from start to finish. Takes 4 days for response from email bearing in mind I have lost my phone. The claim took around 10 weeks for me to get a replacement phone after the courier lost my phone (apparantly). Never recieved phone calls from them, had to chase them myself after waiting 20 minutes om hold every day. Now the phone they have replaced me with the speaker doesn't work. Unprofessional, incompetent clueless bunch of women that just fob you off and don't have a clue what they are talking about. Avoid this company at all costs.

Unfortunately had to make a claim for…

Unfortunately had to make a claim for my washing machine which the door handle snapped. The information the company was asking for was absurd ‘proof of purchase’ they didn’t go ahead with the repair because I didn’t have the proof of purchase 2 weeks it took them to get back to me.. wasted money!!! I’ve had a look at other reviews which seemed ok but at no time did anyone go through the terms and conditions. If I had known at the time they need proof of purchase i would have told them from the beginning I didn’t actually keep it after having it over 2 years. Wasn’t happy with the way I was spoken to either. Please read the terms and conditions before taking the insurance out. 2 weeks without a washing machine is a nightmare

Failure to Cancel Policy after Death

No one every picks up the phone. Had to use the callback function on the website for someone to give me a call.

Been trying to cancel an insurance policy due to the policy holder passing away (and within cancellation period). Agent reduced to cancel the policy until they received a death certificate.

Having sent the death certificate through, I have not received an acknowledgement of my request being received or the cancellation being actioned. Pathetic excuse for a company. I will be reporting this incident to the appropriate authorities.

Electrical Appliances.

In my opinion this Insurance company that provides cover for a yearly team. Is not really needed. If you are a good saver with a bank and may have an ISA account .Over a year it is possible to be able to cover at least two or more electrical appliances for your self. If say the television or washing machine wares out. You can simply buy new or seconded hand appliance/s. The insurance policy is making more money for the insures than you are making from it.

smart-sure employ data trawling companies to then make false sales

Despicable company who offer insurance for everyday items such as washing machines, mobile phones etc.
They use "Savers Club / Consumer lifestyle" to get your data and then pretend your insurance (That you never had!) is running out.
I gave "Savers Club / Consumer lifestyle" a false name and lo and behold these time wasters are trying to sell to me within 24 hours.
Appliance insurance is a waste of time and I would never personally purchase it, but even if I wanted it, I would not buy from a company who employ data trawling companies.
