What a great technical team smartDNS have. I reported my issue to them, they responded very quickly and fixed my problem frequently keeping me updated with their progress.
I have been using Smart DNS for many years now and highly recommend them.

I used smartdnsproxy for years. It's ideal. I want to watch BBC and ITV on my Google TV streamer and it can be little hard to set up but customer service is fantastic and walked me through it.

I've been using SmartDnsProxy for quite a few years. Whenever I've had a problem they've fixed it incredibly fast. They always respond to my email very quickly. If the problem is on my end, they explain how to fix it and if it's on their end they quickly fix it. I highly recommend SmartDnsProxy. They're amazing!!

Have used SmartDNS for years. A great Company, they have issues like all technology Companies but they fix them very timely and customer service is second to non....If you are looking for a VPN company look no further, you will be in the hands of one of the best.

1 star – it doesn't even deserve that.
Since Tuesday January 6th 2026 (and today is the 11th) the service doesn't work at all for US streaming, especially Paramount+ which is the only reason I pay for it. I've tried every US server (Chicago, New York, Dallas, etc.), reactivated IP dozens of times, flushed DNS, switched networks (WindTre mobile and my brother's Fastweb FTTH), nothing. Always "not available in your region" error or endless buffering.
On January 8th they admitted on social media "severe connectivity issues in our US data center" blocking access to many US-based streaming services, but since then – zero updates, zero fix. Their status page still says "all good" like nothing is happening.
Support? Copy-paste standard answers: "try other servers", "update IP", "we're working on it" with no ETA and no real solution. I opened tickets, sent screenshots, explained everything – crickets or automated replies.
In the meantime I switched to KeepSolid and it works instantly for the same purpose. Smart DNS Proxy has been unreliable for years with Paramount+/Netflix/Hulu blocks, but this outage is the last drop: money thrown away for a service that doesn't deliver.
Don't waste your time or money if you want reliable streaming. Go for alternatives (KeepSolid, Getflix, Unlocator) and save yourself the headache. Once it was decent… now it's trash.

Have been using SmartDnsProxy for many years. It works perfectly and what I like the most is the speed and quality of the response from the customer service/support team. They always solve technical issues quickly and well.

A helpful, amazing kind team

Despite suffering from a rather difficult to identify smart DNS issue affecting UK sites only, the problem was resolved after much interaction with the technical support team. As ever they were helpful and communicative, managed to identify the problem and then implement the necessary network changes to resolve the issue. I have been using Smart DNS Proxy for several years now and would highly recommend them.
