I have been using SmartShow 3D for many years and it is my go-to program for slides. I run trivia contests for our community and every question, answer, supporting information, pictures, and clips is presented via SmartShow 3d. I have made slideshows for friend's anniversary parties and for one of our trips as well. This is my favorite package.

Whether you are a photo fan for business or just so you can make a lovely little gift for your niece.... this is the program for you! I have so much fun with this I find myself thinking in my spare time.... "how could I make"... and pretty soon I am back at my desk! Back up support is great and price is totally fair! AND... you only have to buy it once if that's what you want!

I have been using Smart Show 3D for 12 years and have no complaints regarding the software nor the support I have received from staff during that period.
I have 384 videos uploaded to my vimeo site, all created using this software. Would recommend this
software to anyone and everyone.

I had been using ProShow Gold for many years to create slideshows for special events. My computer crashed and I was not able to use the program anymore with a new computer. I researched several programs and found SmartSHOW 3D to be most like Proshow Gold. I was able to use it right away and created a beautiful slideshow of my recent trip which I uploaded to youtube for all of my friends to see.

I absolutely adore this software and all the people behind it! I have so much fun with it to the delight of family and friends! When I hit a snag I know the team will be behind me with their help! I have been using 3D for well over 5 years! Believe me! I know how AMS works.... well!

I'm always hesitant when trying new software. "How big is the learning curve?" I used another software for about 10 years. Then it no longer became available. That's how I found SmartSHOW 3D.
In response to my question I was encouraged to find it was possible to prepare a very well done video in a few minutes. BUT, I also discovered the program was amazingly full of SO MUCH MORE and NOT hard to learn!!
I I made a video for a memorial service I could not figure out how to make a change needed. I quickly sent a question to customer service and received and PROMPT answer!!
I HIGHLY recommend SmartSHOW 3D and am looking for more opportunities to use it. The more you use any software the more you discover. I'm sure, after my first venture, this will become a GREAT replacement...and even BETTER...than what I had been using!!

A wonderful and professional piece of software and very easy to use and edit to get the effect you want.

I just purchased the SmartSHOW3D GOLD version software, I must say that it was very easy to purchase, download and install the program with the templates included. I just started using the program and so as the first steps I used pre-set templates, which are very easy to use and very beautiful as ready-to-use presentations. I immediately wrote to support to ask if it was possible to go back from the timeline to filling out the templates so as not to redo all the work of selecting and sorting the photographs, but unfortunately I was told that this is not possible. Then on the timeline I noticed that a navigation bar was missing on the movie, since being used to other video editing software this was always present and would be very useful for moving around the timeline. Another shortcoming in my opinion is the possibility of performing a mix between two audio tracks on the same track. The effect of the animated photos is very beautiful and effective, truly a plus of this software, then with time I am convinced I will be able to appreciate other options and features of this program.

Very easy to use professional level software. I bought this software, and the wedding anniversary templates to make presentation for my friend's parents 50th wedding anniversary. Everyone loved the presentation.
Hope they will add more templates for portrait photos.

I love smart show 3 D the only problem is the links for new templates do not work on my computer. Only the templates that came with the 3D works. Is there a disk for new templates? That will be helpful.

Hello, I have used other slide show programs in the pass. But SmartSHOW 3D out passes them all. Very user friendly with tons of options, the more I use it the greater are my slide shows. The choice of TITLES, EFFECTS, TRANSITIONS, FONTS and MUSIC are just out of this world
and the price is very reasonable for the quality of the end product.

What could be more fun than making a slide show shortly after taking your photos. Of course you can then grab your favorite video editor and spend a few hours putting together a slide show. At least that was the way I was doing it until recently. Until I saw a video of the program SMARTSHOW 3D on YouTube. What a relief. You can put together a beautiful show in a very short time using templates. Or you start from scratch. The program has thousands of ready-made helpers ready for you... Transitions, font effects, collections, etc. On YouTube you can watch dozens of instructional videos on the Smartview site (AMS Software). I am super excited about it. Turning photos and videos into a beautiful show has become a piece of cake.

In total a SW to make a nice and smooth picture presentation with nice effects.
Specially the templates should be more listed by amounts of picture you are plan to place on a slide.
Unfortunately I ran in bug and to save/load all parts.
The way of animation is easy on one hand but limits the option later on somehow.
I also miss that audio cannot be cross-faded.
However, it get my recommendation.

I have had the Smart Show slide show software for just under 2 weeks. The customer service folks answered my questions that I had prior to my purchase in short order. Thus far I am very happy with the product. I have some experience with other movie/slide software but it has been a long time. This software is pretty intuitive…the tutorials are not quite what I would like (exact steps, what to click etc) on how to navigate the different methods to create a slideshow. Maybe I haven’t found the correct/full tutorial library. Overall I am very happy with the product and customer service!!

With thanks for AMS Software for this customer review submission, I can proudly share observations from my first-time use of their SmartSHOW 3D software.

Many times during a multimedia design project, the need arises to make a single or several single elements the focal point of the larger production. For example, one may wish to apply special effects to a single photo without the need for a full-fledged video editor, just as you want to extract a single frame from a video without the needing an entire image editing software.

In my case, I wanted to animate a single photo and apply special effects if that were also possible. Already in my design toolset were many software products quite capable of that, but each in its turn as the original file passes through them as if on a sort of conveyer belt. I could have carried on that way and ignore alternatives, but then I turned my curiosity to the Internet and found various products boasting the ability to animate photos, some with Youtube videos as proof.

With a comparison chart at hand and bracing for many trial tests, I didn't get very far before I discovered AMS Software's SmartShow 3D completely by accident. Just the AMS Software brand was an instant lure, because I had previously purchased other software products from them, including Clipify, 3D Interior Designer, Photo Diva, Photo Glory, and Collage Maker, all of which continue as frontline tools in my graphics or video projects.

As for SmartShow 3D, possibilities hinted in the trial version were enough to direct my immediate purchase. To entice you with just a summary of what I've been able to do, consider this:

1) Creating a fresh thumbnail image for your Youtube channel by downloading an existing specimen then adoring it with layers of particle effects, text, and graphics then saving it as a final JPG image for upload back to Youtube.

2) Take an original still JPG or scanned photo and animate it with various elements as a single movie scene, including sound, to insert in a larger film project.

These are only the beginnings of something greater for anybody wanting to enter the electronic visual arts arena or professionals already familiar with controllable visual impacts.

Not to go unmentioned also is AMS Software's sustained commitment to the Windows 32-bit platform, which many other software publishers have abandoned for 64-bit versions of Windows. That single dedication is valuable to producers who are heavily invested in 32-bit versions and must keep their toolset in one place, till a decisive 64-bit transition is scheduled.

This software is especially appreciated because there are many areas where you can click to go to a tutorial related to what you are trying to do! It's easy and intuitive and there are so many features you can go crazy trying them all. There is a feature I hope they add. It would be helpful for me to look at each slide and it's labeled with the effect/animation I used to create it. It would also be helpful to know what aspect ratio is required for my photos to fit into a collage. I have spent many hours playing with this product, over the last 2 weeks. I love it!

SmartSHOW 3D is a very easy program to share your pictures for family and friends. I have used the program for quite a few shows and it's very easy and flexible to use. There is a lot of power and resources available in the program and I am still trying to learn how to find and use all of these various elements.

Having researched the the programmes out there Smart SHOW 3D had by far the easiest graphic user interface to work with. Very intuitive with easy to follow tutorials
