Scam/ False Subscription

This website/product is a scam as well as a consumer nightmare. Somehow I've been charged for a monthly subscription that I didn't sign up for. And when you go to the website and try to "CHAT" to resolve your issue - you have to enter an email account to begin the chat. Ironic since I can't do that because I DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT! and there is a charge of $118 on my card. I will be reporting them to my credit card company as well as online review sites.

One star is still too much

One star is still too much. I’ve been using it for 3 to 4 weeks and it hasn’t done a thing. No change or any whiting. It doesn’t matter how little of tooth paste you use, it turns it into I don’t know what. I even tried it without toothpaste. The pens don’t work well. If it was 50 cents I wouldn’t buy it. Save your money.

Deceptive business practices

I believed I was making a one time product purchase. Thank goodness I checked this website and saw the other reviews. Upon looking back at my email confirmation, there was some tiny fine print saying I had signed up for a multi-month subscription. I’ve submitted my cancellation, so here’s hoping they honor it.

A scam

A scam — do not buy.
I purchased two products that did not work at all. Shortly afterward, I received an additional large product that I never ordered, yet my credit card was charged a significant amount without authorization.

I later discovered that I had been enrolled in an automatic subscription program without my consent, resulting in recurring unauthorized charges. This is an expensive subscription scheme implemented without customer approval.

I returned all products at my own expense and am still waiting for a refund. Customer service is virtually impossible to reach—there is no real support, only automated responses. The company refuses to refund shipping fees, which I had to pay both for the original order and for the returns.

I can confirm many of the negative reviews: hidden subscription fees, difficult cancellation processes, unauthorized credit card charges, and highly questionable business practices. Avoid this company.

I really should have read the reviews…

I really should have read the reviews first. First of all, my teeth do not look whiter. The worst part is the customer service. The next shipment was automatically sent out very soon after I received the first shipment. When I texted with an agent to delay the shipment, they said it was already on it way. I could return it and I would be refunded for the product minus the shipping. Plus I had to pay for the shipping to return it. They charged my card $48. I paid $6 to ship it back. They refunded me $32. I am out $22 for something that didn't work. Please do not buy from this company.

Smileactives teeth whitening gel

Smileactives teeth whitening gel Revue: A TOTAL MARKETING GRIFT-SCAM.

I drink coffee in the morning and so can use a good teeth whitening product. So I decided to try Smileactives. I ordered it on January 4th 2026 and my card was billed a few days later. I received it about a week later. I’ve been using it as directed twice daily since but have seen little improvement in the color of my teeth. Together with the dab of toothpaste, it cleans very well. And the elect brush works fine. But my teeth do not seem to be getting any whiter after over a month. I will continue for another month to see if it works.

As for their online presence, the website is primarily focused on sales and hyping the products. It’s not clear up front at all. But after recieving your order, eventually you learn that they automatically send unsolicited products (a large gell bottle and 3 tooth brush ends that you yourself have no idea they are setting you up with) and bill your credit card automatically and monthly, or longer if you take issue with them, but the kicker is, there is no way on the website to end the orders. Additionally, you don’t even have to set up an account for them to scam you in this way. All you have to do is place an order.

When I placed an order, at a discount (bait) there was no mention of an ongoing contract. I was misled to believe it was a regular business, and that I myself would re-order if I liked the product and wanted to continue, or at least given than option to do so. But Noooooooo. To my surprise, upon receiving an order a month later, large size amount and extra tooth brush ends, I contacted customer service on the phone to ask why I had received extra stuff when I had not ordered any.

The customer support woman was friendly enough, but was obviously reading from a script that used HIGH PRESSURE SALES TACTICS. I had to emphasize to her repeatedly in no uncertain terms that I did not want monthly shipments of this stuff. Instead of just telling the truth, or asking me if I wanted to cancel, or stating the truth that there is no way to cancel online, and that the company she works for is a total marketing scam, the woman tried her best to follow the script, apparently.

She kept beating around the bush, trying to get me to buy into them moving out the delivery date of the next shipment (that I never ordered and did not want in the first place). Infuriating! I had to tell her this 3 or 4 times before she LIED and said verbally that the ongoing shipments would end.

After the call I received an email from the company saying the shipment had been moved out to August.

I went back to the website, poked around in it for about a half hour and confirmed THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER. SO YEAH, TOTAL SCAM. And the web design is awful as well.

It’s too bad. Because the business could have chosen to be honest and try to provide a positive experience for their costumers. The product does contain hydrogen peroxide, but seemingly not enough to do any good in the business of teeth whitening.(They must be taking their Qs from Donald Trump, the grifter in chief).

I dont like to do this kind of thing…

I dont like to do this kind of thing but I need to alert to other customers about this company. I bought the offer buy one dental cream I get another free. I paid I received the product. Never subscribe because it was a gift t to someone else. They sent me another brush (set of 3) i bought it was part of the offer and I never watched that! But today 2/19/26 i realized they been charging me $47.24 since October and I only received 2 orders and when I called they says they cancel the subscription letting me talking by myself on the phone because I never heard anyone on the other side. I received an email with the confirmation of the cancelation and that I still own another $94.22. This is ridiculous and scam and please never do business with companies like this one. Be careful.

Do not use SmileActives - SHADY business practices

initially customer service seemed ok but this company practices offering a deal for a single order and in VERY fine print says after 1 month they will start your recurring subscription service. You get NO email notifying when the subscription shipment goes out so I found this out from a charge on my credit card and when I called they said they did not have to notify when these shipments go out. I would NOT purchase from this company and wish I had been more diligent before I ever purchased the single order. The product doesn't seem to be working great either and is not pleasant on my lips if I follow directions.

DO NOT BUY!

I bought this item to try it. I received it and used it for two weeks. The product is a waste of time, as it does not work at all. The advertising is very deceptive.
As for the company's practices, I was enrolled in a subscription I did not want. Upon being notified that my second shipment was in process, I cancelled. Although the order was in process, they refused to cancel it. It cost me $9.80 to return it, and subsequently told that I would not be reimbursed for the return shipping.
I called to verify the return and inquire about my refund, and was assured I would receive my payment shortly. When notified about the refund, it was $9.89 short.
Luckily, I will open a PayPal ticket to recover my shorted refund and shipping costs.
DO NOT BUY from these charlatans.

SCAM

SCAM, company beware.. If you purchase this product you are unknowingly signing up for a subscription!!

They take your card number and charge it without your permission.
I accepted and paid for the first shipment but then canceled my subscription (that I didn’t know I had agreed to) and THEN they charge my card for a 2nd time for a product I didn't place..

Completely deceptive and unethical. Disputing charge through my cc company. Stay away!!!!
Deceptive business practices. Charged my CC for 2nd shipment(which I didn't sign up for)
Now they are threatening me with sending me to "collections" which is deplorable because I never signed up!!!
And when I called the customer service number I was told there was no documentation in the account that I had called to stop the bogus account and had spoken to someone.
Doesn't help the customer service company is overseas!!! That by itself is a challenge.

I ordered what I thought was a simple…

I ordered what I thought was a simple trial whitening product — big mistake. After checking out I was automatically enrolled in a pricey subscription I never agreed to, and before I realized it I was hit with multiple charges. When I tried to cancel and asked for a refund, customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, and they kept finding reasons not to actually stop billing me. The whitening gel itself didn’t do anything noticeable, and now I’m left fighting unexpected charges with my bank. Absolutely the worst online purchase experience I’ve ever had and I would warn everyone to stay far away.
