Be careful - Tricks you into purchasing a subscription

Make sure when you buy that they won't trick you into signing up for a subscription, which can even add up to ~$150. And send the item and charge you. Even if you return the shipment you didn't request by paying for the shipping by yourself, they will only refund the product fee. They won't return the shipping fee. So, if the product doesn't work for you or they send an unwanted shipment, don't send it back. Wherefore, you are paying for their shipment fee and the shipment fee for you to send them brand new items back. Moreover, this item made my teeth very sensitive.

A warning NOT to fall for Activesmile scam

I write this review to warn people not to purchase Smileactives. I used it for 2.5 weeks and didn't notice any improvement in the whiteness of my teeth. What's worse is that they refuse to pay return postage.
They advertise a full refund, which is untrue. I paid $9
to ship back the product. So my refund will only be
$25 minus 9 dollars. What a scam!

OK product. Unethical company.

The product is OK. Their business practice is unethical. They automatically enroll you in an auto-ship plan where they ship you 3 months worth of product every 3 months, and charge your credit card for it monthly, at like $42 per month. I ordered one 3 month supply as a gift for my wife, and after 3 months, another 3 month shipment showed up, and sure enough, I had a charge for it on my credit card. I contacted them to cancel and they said I would still owe them for 2 more months because they shipped a 3 month supply.

Quality Issue – Replacement Brush Head Also Fell Apart

I had a very disappointing experience with these replacement toothbrush heads.

The first brush head I purchased fell apart after only a few uses, leaving loose bristles in my mouth. I returned it through Amazon and received a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement brush head also failed and came apart while brushing, with bristles and plastic backing breaking loose. Thankfully, I was not injured, but this should not happen with an oral care product.

After the second failure, I contacted Snow Oral Care directly to report the issue. I sent a follow-up message as well, but I have not received any response.

Based on my experience with two defective brush heads and the lack of follow-up from the company, I am not satisfied with this product and would not purchase it again.

DO NOT BUY!!!

Absolutely a bad product but the deception and horrible customer service makes this product and experience THE WORST EVER!!!!!! I cancelled my order, I returned the product and actually spoke to an agent DEMANDING to end EVERYTHING associated with my connection with Smileactives. Of course, the didn't and low and behold, I got ANOTHER bottle of this crap! More hassle to return this bottle I didn't order!!!

Don't waste you time and money

You buy the product on the smile actives website and you unknowingly sign up for a $43.50 subscription that you can't get out of until you pay for a minimum of 3 months, $127.
To make matters worse, I have used the product for 2 months with little improvement. Don't waste your time and money !!

SCAM???

I have read the reviews and thought it was a scam from first ad. Then when they started saying you don’t want to look like “old Nanna and Pop” I knew I would never use it even if it worked. I’m a Nanna and I have nice teeth so I resent the analogy.

THIS IS A SCAM

hen you purchase any product from the smile actives website, you are automatically enrolled in an "auto delivery program". I purchased a "Pro Whitening Gel" 1oz for $24.95. One month later, I was sent a full sized product that is intended to be used for 90 days. I was initially billed $29.62 for that full sized product, which actually repeats for another 2 months for a total of $88.86. They don't send any order confirmation or shipping emails, and no details are shown within the customer portal. It is intentionally difficult to use to keep customers enrolled in their scam. I found the details of their scam on the terms and conditions page, and very small when you click on specifics of their sale up top.

Here's what it says:
THIS IS A SCAM. This is what you're committing to when you buy a product on their site: Automatic Renewal Terms. If you are placing an order online or by telephone as part of our automatic renewal program, your membership in the program will remain in effect until it is cancelled. We may, in our sole discretion, terminate your membership in the program at any time without notice to you.

IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF OUR AUTOMATIC RENEWAL PROGRAM AND YOU HAVE PROVIDED US WITH A VALID CREDIT CARD NUMBER OR AN ALTERNATE PAYMENT METHOD, EACH SHIPMENT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY PROCESSED AT THE TIME OF EACH SUCCESSIVE SHIPMENT AND/OR INSTALLMENT PAYMENT AND WILL BE BILLED TO THE PAYMENT METHOD YOU PROVIDED TO US AT THE TIME OF YOUR INITIAL PURCHASE AND ENROLLMENT. IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL YOUR PARTICIPATION IN OUR AUTOMATIC RENEWAL PROGRAM, YOU MAY DO SO BY CALLING A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE AT THE TELEPHONE NUMBERS LISTED ON THE WEBSITE UNDER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

A hidden subscription. Don't be deceived!

This company has deceptive practices, in my opinion. I ordered a trial package of teeth whitening gel and a pen and the agreed upon price was $32.35. A month or so later I received an additional package and was charged $47.46. I sent a chat, an email and tried to call to cancel this recurring order. I then was billed again another $47.46 and should have had my credit card company block the payment. Instead I reached out again the the Smile Actives company requested to stop the payments. Last month a THIRD TIME my card was charged $47.50! I did not receive another shipment. It took multiple calls and emails to finally get an answer. The representative states that upon ordering the trial package, I also agreed to the subscription. This is not obvious on the website! Conveniently, she also told me the cut off date for returns and a refund was a few days before I called. I am very unhappy that I was charged an additional $142.38 and given no opportunity for returning products or even a partial refund. On top of all this the product is minimally effective.

It doesn't work and they make it difficult to cancel.

It doesn't work. They make it difficult to cancel. They sign you up for auto shipment but the next shipment is a large gel toothpaste and 3 gel sticks for a total of $142
77. I was told they will be charging two more installments of $47.59. I am returning to try to get a refund.

Don't expect a quick refund

I ordered the product and used it for almost 60 days, Did not work at all. Returned it with tracking and they received on Dec 30. No refund as of Jan 21 so I called and they said they just processed it yesterday but it would take 5-7 days after that to refund back to my card. What a bunch of BS.

According to their AI Chat

Once the returned products are received, it typically takes about 7 business days to process the refund, which will be credited to your original form of payment (minus shipping and handling).

I do not recommend this product or this company

I do not recommend this product or this company. This company is more interested in billing you monthly and they don't make it easy to get your money back. My teeth don't look much whiter. At $50 per month, my wallet is much lighter. Product is marginal but their billing is very aggressive.

Autoenrollment without you knowing

Be careful when purchasing this product. They automatically sign you up for monthly delivery and charges. I purchased a "one time" transaction and then started receiving monthly shipments that I never authorized.

Deceptively sign you up for a membership in which they automatically send you a full-size tube of their toothpaste in which they bill you in three installments, $30 each for a total of $90 for a tube of toothpaste! No thank you. It doesn’t work well anyway.
