I’m extremely frustrated at this point. I’ve raised this issue repeatedly — what feels like countless times — over the past week, yet I’ve received no meaningful response or resolution.

Yesterday, I spoke with your team members named HARRY , ALISON , LIAM who assured me that the refund would be initiated. However, like every other interaction so far, there has been no follow-up or confirmation.

This experience has been unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I do not wish to continue this ongoing back-and-forth. Please process my refund immediately — no further delays, no explanations.

I expect written confirmation of the refund without any additional follow-up required from my side.

I had my first consultation in Oct 2024 and the staff were so helpful, I got my kit and aligners sent out straight away and everything seemed to be going smoothly.. fast forward to now and I’m onto my last tray of my treatment plan and I’ve heard absolutely nothing since I had my kit sent out, it wasn’t until I googled the company I found out they’re no longer taking on new clients, can’t find the page on instagram anymore so looks like they’ve gone bust? I’ve tried to ring multiple times and just get told that nobody is available to speak to me at the moment so I’ll get a call back and I never do. I am unhappy with my final result as my teeth aren’t as straight as I was told they would be so I am now stuck with no retainers and a £1000 bill left to pay for treatment that isn’t even finished. I initially chose this because I was getting married this year and was promised I’d have my “perfect smile” for my wedding, I get married in 3 weeks and I highly doubt that’s going to happen.
I’ve paused my payments until I can speak to someone but from reading other people’s reviews it seems like this is a reoccurring issue and once they’ve got your money they aren’t interested anymore. I wish I’d spent the extra money and gone through my dentist with regular check ups and aftercare that actually care!

To begin with I couldn’t fault the service I was provided, great communication via telephone and emails great when my alligners did not fit correctly sent me another set out very rapidly however as soon as the treatment came to an end to which it shouldn’t have as my teeth are not fully straight there is no communication at all as if to say I have been ghosted. I am left with gaps in my teeth and a tooth that still isn’t straight. I have sent constant emails for the past 4 months to correct this but no reply pure silence, it’s as if they want your money and once the supposed treatment is finished they don’t care!

Please go to a dentist to get alligners you will get a smile to be happy with and not one to be conscious of

Unsafe Treatment and No Response to Refund Request

I purchased aligners from Smile Correct Club and had to stop using them after they caused an open bite and were found clinically unsuitable by my NHS dentist. The dentist confirmed the aligners didn’t cover my back molars and that I wasn’t a suitable candidate for treatment at all — continuing would have risked long-term dental issues.
I requested a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 on 16 May 2025 and provided professional clinical evidence. The company has completely ignored my formal complaint and has not responded within the 14 days I gave them to resolve the issue.
This has not only caused stress but also left me out of pocket and facing further dental correction. If you’re considering using this service, I strongly recommend getting a professional dental opinion first — and be prepared for no aftercare or customer service if something goes wrong.

Honest review from someone who is halfway through their treatment and didn't look at reviews before purchase...

Firstly, you never see a dentist or orthodontist. Some people might not like this but I've found it much easier with less faff.

I had a call to discuss my requirements and the sales man was being extremely pushy for me to pay there and then. When I explained I'm still looking at other options he asked if I could at least leave a review. I explained I won't be leaving a review if I haven't done treatment? I believe a lot of these reviews have been made after a good first appointment.

After the call, I decided before I pay in full I would pay a £250 deposit and receive my moulds. The moulds process went well and we went back and forth on the final 3D of my teeth - I felt one tooth was still not completely straight and they amended straight away. When I was happy with the final look, I paid £1600 something for top and bottom arch and received it within 3 days.

Received a box of around 27 aligners, which you change your aligners every 7-10 days and your teeth move slowly. I'm on tray 12/27 and so far I haven't had any issues. Teeth are getting straighter by the week. Really easy and convenient.

For that reason, I would recommend if you're looking for a cost effective option. The only thing I would say is in 3 months no one has been in touch with me or checked in, which is disappointing, as it's something as important as teeth. They have 0 aftercare. But since it's going well I'm not fussed.

Because of the bad reviews, I would say pay a deposit and do your moulds before fully committing.

I honestly can not fault my experience with smile correct club! I started my journey in October and 18 weeks later my smile was perfect! I used my last liner as a retainer and when this broke they sent me a new one. I have asked for another one as i am still wearing at night and this was sent free of charge! The initial over the phone meeting was professional and the 3d imagine gives you a great idea of what your smile will look like. I have had no issues with getting in touch via whats app. From my personal experience i can 100 recommend

Can not get through, sent multiple emails and called many times!! Will defiantly be stopping my direct debit if I don’t get a response this week it’s been awful.

From the consultation I was very pleased with the service. As soon as I confirmed I wanted to go through with the aligners, they were sent out to me in a matter of days. And I began my treatment. I seen immediate change with genuinely no pain at all. (due to only having a mild movement). I have just finished my last set and my retainers will be arriving soon! Really happy with the treatment! And kind staff.. :). Really cheap and affordable too

I finished my set of aligners and wasn’t fully satisfied, been left to fend for myself apparently because I’m unable to contact them completely. They sent me another impression kit and I sent it out a while back and still nothing. I’m still using my last set of aligners to keep them relatively straight but I’m still waiting. I’ve tried calling again an again so it’s got to the point where I want to stop it completely because I’m not happy at all. I’m 20 years old and wanted to sort out a massive insecurity of mine but all they are doing is robbing me.

Absolutely horrific. I ordered and paid full price months ago and have never even been sent the aligners or had any communication. Now it seems the company has been shut down. The customer service, even if you get through which is extremely rare and generally only happens after threats, is horrendous, with the workers just downright rude.
Avoid at all costs! A previous reviewer realised this company is affiliated with smile white so please avoid them at all costs also.

Like many others I am now no longer getting communications, I have gone to the liberty of researching this clearly dodgy company and found links between all of these companies online (Afaf Elhamadi is linked to all of the companies). I suggest contacting Yorkshire Dental Suite and Smile White to help you.

Started off amazing with communication and aligners. Got sent out the my full set of aligners. However at the end of the sets my desired smile was still not there. Got in touch again and they sent out another plan with further 9 aligners. My teeth were still not straight. Got in touch again on 1st May and been emailing and calling ever since but no response!!! Not a single phone call has been answered and emailed numerous times.

All rosey before you part with money then its ghosting thereafter. Avoid like the plague!!

I have liked the aligners. I still am yet to receive my desired result although they are trying to resolve.
I have found the customer service to be really poor though. Can’t get through on the phone. Takes days to respond to emails.

I recently posted a negative review regarding aligners not being delivered. I would like to correct my statement, Smile correct club were extremely helpful and explained they were just having some technical difficulties which caused a delay in shipping processes. The quickly rectified the issue and I received my aligners as well as a gesture of goodwill I was offered for the delay. Since I last posted they have been extremely responsive and very helpful with the process.

Please do not use this company. Everything went great at first didn’t have any problems with my aligner. It’s wasn’t until I had a dental appointment when I was told my teeth were loose. My dentist took x-rays and told me I have now got very short roots due to the orthodontic treatment and there is not a good prognosis for one of my front teeth especially! I was sent my retainers which are far too small and despite trying to get this sorted for about 7 weeks my e-mails and WhatsApp messages are being ignored. I’m desperate to get a properly fitted retainer to help my teeth settle but they are not communicating with me. Please do not use this company.

absolutely do not recommend, messed me about and won't let me cancel treatment and issue refund for faulty aligners. messed me about from day one, now they don't take calls or answer messages or emails. having to get trading standards involved and get legal advise.

I am extremely disappointed with the the customer service and treatment from this company.
I contacted them several times on 12th week of tretment and they asked me to send the puctures of my teeth. After several emails ( it took more than two months) they said your treatment finished now so they can not give anymore help. But I am sure my treatment plan didn't finish when I contacted them first. and they completely ignored my emails and calls.
So I added a bad review on this website within a week they called me and asked me to withdraw the bad review as they understood their mistake and will continue the treatment. So I deleted my review. They send me a impression kit and asked me to contact them through the Whaatsapp number. I contacted them after taking the impression. But they said tbat impression not acceptable so I had to take another one. I did cpntact them a few time after taking the impression. No responds from them after that. I send them emails and also whatsapp messages but completely ignored me.

I spend around £1700 but the result is really bad. Please please please dnt wate your money.

I wanted to wait and give a review after I finished with all my aligners. I am on a 6-month programme and so happy with how my teeth look now. The communication was great from the start of the process until I sent off my impressions. After that, there has not been any communication at all. I thought I would get emails asking how everything was and even an email to ask about retainers, but I was the one who had to reach out. Overall, I am so happy with my teeth now and would use this company again. Just wish there was a bit more communication.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I’ve received. Since last September, I have been trying to arrange the remainder of my treatment and the promised teeth whitening, but I have had no response to multiple emails or phone calls.

I would appreciate it if someone could get back to me as a matter of urgency to resolve this.
