Evaluating 31 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Consumers frequently mention that customer service and communication completely stop once payments are processed or specific problems arise. People note receiving endless promises of callbacks that never actually happen, alongside completely unanswered emails and continuous phone calls spanning multiple months of frustrating waiting. However, many reviewers also experienced broken aligners and were completely ignored when requesting replacements or help. Additionally, several consumers stated that their teeth shifted back or failed to align properly as originally promised.

All in all…disappointed

Sadly, if I would have known the end results and the service I received before going with smile correct club I would have chosen one of their competitors. I was told my course would take 22 weeks, I wasn’t happy with the results and they sent out a further 10 weeks to correct my misaligned teeth, again I wasn’t satisfied and they reluctantly sent me a final set which haven’t solved the issue, you spend a lot of money using their services and once they have your business it felt like guess work as their initial quoted timeframes where significantly out. Think carefully about the service provider you end up going with!

ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES, AVOID!

Since starting this process, I have had to chase every month to ask where my aligners are or if they have even been made. Despite previous conversations where I brought this to their attention, and was told my aligner schedule would be looked into, nothing has changed.
I have also seen absolutely no improvement whatsoever, which I am extremely unhappy and concerned about. I understand that the shape of the aligners can only be adjusted slightly every couple of weeks, however when comparing previous sets to new sets, they look practically the same.
They will not offer me a refund for the money I have wasted, and have shown no interest or care in the fact that I am not happy with the service I have received.
This company is only good for signing people up; do not expect any sort of aftercare if you do decide to follow through with them, as there is none.
They paint a perfect picture to entice you, but beyond that they are diabolical. I was even asked to “improve” a previous review I submitted last month because they didn’t want to look bad!
EDIT: After speaking with Aleisha today about my issues, I have received blunt emails and basically been fobbed off. There is no attentiveness when you have a problem, they are only there to sign you up and take your money.
After expressing my concerns and receiving short winded responses, I have cancelled my subscription and will be giving my money to a company that actually care about their patients.

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. They are sufficient when trying to get you to proceed with treatment however you recieve no communication or aftercare once the money is paid. There has been absolutley no difference in my teeth and i have had a 18 week course after multiple complaints. The company have not resolved any issues and states my teeth were perfect before treatment, however, still went ahead and tookmy money advising I do require alingers. Total scam and waste of money. There is no visible difference in my teeth either.

10/10 company

I have finished my treatment today and I couldn't be happier with the results! It's taken a big insecurity away and I'm very impressed with the service. My online consultation with Joe Lee put me as ease from the start :)

Avoid! All nice to you when you sign up and go through a video appointment and once you pay the deposit and sign forms and then they don’t wanna know! All my aligners didn’t even fit properly but could never get through to anyone. My aligners was late every month and then when I did manage to get through they said that they updated there systems and my aligners wasn’t even made🧐terrible company and a waste of money! Not one inch of movement of my teeth so decided to cancel and their aftercare team don’t wanna know you! AVOID! Absolute thief’s

The behaviour of the impressions team

The behaviour of the impressions team, the delays, as soon as I signed up things went downhill, very disappointed. When I mentioned my frustration they said well send you a form that confirms you want to cancel but since I already been waiting almost 3 months, and I was told I’d be getting charged for the impressions that just came to my house I said I’ll continue, but then the person forced me to cancel without me filling out the form.

Completely misleading

Not a good experience at all. I had my initial consultation with Abid, where I explained that my main concern with my teeth are the gaps, I was assured that these could be closed with treatment. So I went ahead with the treatment and paid.

I did not hear back for a while after sending my impressions so I chased up and immediately received my 3D scans, on this you can see how your teeth move from start to finish of the treatment. I’m really not sure what I was paying for at this point. Only 4 of my teeth were actually moved in the treatment, all of the gaps remained untreated and to make matters worse, on the end results my teeth were sticking out significantly more at the front than before, so the treatment would result in me having a severe overbite. I screenshotted all of this and emailed back with my concerns. Again I did not hear back until I emailed again to follow up, after which Aleisha/alishia (her name is spelled differently on her email address and on her sign off on emails) said that the orthodontist had advised that the gaps cannot be closed and that id need composite bonding….. It has been almost 2 months since I paid for my treatment, what a waste of my time and money. As well as being misled in my consultation, I know for a fact that what their orthodontist has advised is completely untrue, I’ve seen 2 other orthodontists in person who have said the gaps can absolutely be closed with aligners. I’ve also previously had braces to close the gaps, they’ve only opened up again because I lost my retainers at the time.

I do not trust their orthodontist at all, how can you design a treatment that leaves the teeth worse off than to begin with and claim that gaps cannot be closed? The reasoning for this being it would require “dental techniques”….what does that even mean?.

Massively misled and a huge waste of my time. On top of it, the customer service from alishia was completely unprofessional, in addition to needing to chase her up for a response, after I further brought up concerns and requested a refund I was just sent a cancellation form and left to it with no acknowledgment of the concerns I had raised.

On this basis I would not recommend this company.

Additional Edit:

In their reply they deem responding to customers with just a link to cancel their treatment with no acknowledgment, apologies or further help with of any of their concerns ‘appropriate’, what a terrible reflection of their company and customer service they have admitted to encouraging themselves.

In terms of communication it’s very interesting to note that I would receive no communication until I chased up and then receive an email back immediately, meaning they had my treatment plan ready but just hadn’t bothered to send it yet. This happened every single time I chased up.

Regardless of whether you’re an at home treatment or not, the point, which you haven’t addressed, still stands, I was MISLEAD during my consultation, in terms of the molars, I explained my gaps and exactly where they were during the consultation, why was I assured that this would be fine if you’ve now said yourself that it’s impossible with at home aligners?. Secondly the front gap reasoning was because they ‘touch’ so would cause an overlap, this is categorically untrue as confirmed by 2 actual orthodontists, there is a clear gap that can be closed with at home aligners.

This company has no idea what they’re doing, I do not believe they are qualified for this, they encourage bad customer service from their staff, and instead of responding to my cancellation request and refunding me (still no refund), they’re on here replying to reviews. I wish I had read the other reviews before wasting my time and money. I would really recommend anyone looking into this company to read the other horror stories on here.

I would also like to add that they have overcharged me according to their own refund guidelines on their website that they referred me to themselves! I have paid £179 to receive absolutely no treatment! When I pointed this out I have been continuously ignored for the past 2 months!. They have not only breached the consumer rights act but their own terms and conditions posted on their website. I am now waiting for a final response from SCC for either a resolution or so I can escalate this dispute externally.

Thank you for your recent feedback. We deeply value the opportunity to address any concerns our patients may have, and we aim to ensure that we clarify the situation to your satisfaction.

Communication Delays:
With regards to your concerns about communication delays, please be assured that the turnaround time was within the 7-working-day timeframe as previously advised. You returned your impressions to us on the 10th of January, the impressions were processed on the 17th of January, and your treatment plan was sent to your email on the 20th of January.

I would also like to clarify that the advice given to you by Alishia was accurate. I understand you have consulted with two orthodontists who advised that the treatment is possible, which is correct from a dental perspective. However, as we are an at-home service, we are limited in the movements we can achieve without involving in-person dental supervision. Specifically, moving your molars to close the gaps towards the back of your teeth is a significant part of your bite. Without proper dental monitoring and techniques, there is a risk of impacting your bite. It is essential for us to take this into consideration when planning your treatment. To suggest that you do not trust our orthodontist is both unfair and untrue.

Customer Service:
In relation to your concerns about customer service, I would like to point out that you emailed after hours on Monday, the 20th of January. Your concerns were promptly passed on to the orthodontic team on Tuesday, the 21st of January, and you received a response on the 22nd of January. This was all addressed and actioned in a timely manner. Additionally, the cancellation form you requested to cancel your treatment was provided as per your request. Therefore, we feel that we have responded appropriately and in a timely fashion.

It is disheartening that we could not achieve the results you were hoping for, but we wish you the very best moving forward.

Thank you for your understanding. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Milly was such a great advisor on helping me get setup with Invisalign. She was patient and really informative and made me feel at ease with the whole process. It can be quite daunting beginning this but she helped break it down into tangible steps that gave me confidence this was the right thing to do. Thank you

Never received my aligners

Never received my aligners. Poor customer service. I was told that a manager would contact me on 07/01/25 due to not hearing anything after sending off my impressions in September 2024. I have emailed multiple times since then and have had no response to my emails.

Responding to your response. You say you have attempted to contact me multiple times but I’ve never received a voice message, a response to my emails. You have my home address so you could send me a letter if you could not get in contact with me. I have emailed again and am waiting for you response as I would like a full refund.

Changed to 2 stars as I have received my full refund promptly.

Very disappointed with my journey so…

Very disappointed with my journey so far, took money in January for payg instalment with no aligner sent as apparently the deposit did not include my first aligner. No communication to advise they had made a mistake with my only option to pay more. Would definitely not recommend.

Simply terrible service

Simply terrible service, at first they show you all the care in the world, they take the money and all good, after you finish the treatment (which by the way won't be the results you expect nor what it will be shown on the 3D model), then no one will answer your question, nor emails !! Oh and if they do, they will tell you to wear the aligners longer then you still won't get the results you paid for, then they will say to you : we can't help as your treatment has ended in july and your aligners lost their stretch, and just go ahead and buy the retainers 😂😂 if you look at all the 1 star review you will find the same experience, I'm not typing mine by details coz literally i am the exact same as the people that left 1 star, the EXACT SAME STORY, they wont give a sh*** about your after care treatment, nor answer your emails as fast as they used to do before.

All i can say, is AVOID !! Pay extra money and go to your local dentist that you can see physically and seek advice whenever, these cowboys ain't doing their jobs properly, and expected Alisha or whatever her name is to be the last one to email you with rejection...

Also no one EVER mentioned to me that i have to purchase the retainers!!! I was told i will be receiving them after i finally finished my treatment ...
My treatment has finished and lemme tell you, my teeth aren't straight as they promised to be, and i am still paying money for it !! £1295 .. i will be seeking legal advice and take it further coz this sh**** is absolutely terrible.

AVOID, BUNCH OF UNQUALIFIED MONEY GRABBERS

Do not waste your time or money with these people. They talk as if they know what they’re doing, they’ll come across as overly friendly but in reality they’re more bothered about taking your money than providing a good service. The treatment plan did not reflect what was discussed in the initial consultation. Alishia didn’t have a clue what she was talking about either, doesn’t look like like anybody has anything good to say about her from what I’ve read on these reviews. They’ve then told me that they can’t provide the results I want (literally moving one tooth back in place😂). Now they’re telling me I can’t get a refund because I’ve utilised their services (all I’ve received is a crappy little impression kit and signed a waiver). I literally changed my mind HOURS after signing the waiver after looking at the treatment plan again. Awful customer service, nobody has a clue what they’re talking about, wasted around £200 for nothing and they don’t even have the decency to return my money.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We value every opportunity to address our patients’ concerns and would like to clarify the situation as accurately as possible.

Alishia is a dedicated member of our aftercare team, and your description does not fully reflect her ongoing efforts to support your treatment.

Regarding your treatment plan, it was shared with you in advance, with ample opportunity for you to review it thoroughly and ask questions.

We encourage all patients to consider their treatment carefully prior to accepting it, as once a treatment plan is approved, we move forward with manufacturing a customised product, which is why refunds are not possible at this stage all charges for services are in our terms and conditions.

Thank you for your understanding, and please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Started my journey May 24

Started my journey May 24 and they were very supportive. But now that I have finished and my teeth have not aligned properly they are not responding to my emails or offering a solution !
The staff that were the supportive ones have now left and I am very upset and out of pocket money wise. Will re post if they do actually help me.

Smile Correct Club to the rescue!

I was left in a dilemma after Smile Direct Club closed down. I had completed my treatment but was unable to purchase any retainers to maintain my new smile. I was worried as it had cost me a lot to get to this point. I researched the net to find a new company that could help but the quotes I was getting were ridiculous! Then I came across Smile Correct and I'm so glad I did! The price was reasonable and the customer service I received was 2nd to none. The retainers are so comfortable too.. Much better fit than the ones I had previously from SDC.
Thank you Smile Correct Club 😊
