Usually, the liquid seeping through into the mouthpiece is caused by a damaged pod, or a refillable pod that has been used too much.
Have you tried placing another pod inside and seeing if that makes a difference?

The after sales service has been poor. I have been trying to return a device since mid July. Very slow communication unfortunately.
