I had a very bad and alarming experience with sneleentaxi in the early morning of Monday, January 5th. I booked a taxi for 2:00 a.m. from Nijmegen to Leiden.

Around 20 minutes before the scheduled pickup, the driver called me and asked how much I had paid for the ride. This was immediately odd and unprofessional. If he was assigned by the company, he should already have known the agreed price.

After I told him the amount, he claimed that the price was incorrect and that I had to pay extra because it was night time. I explained that the website clearly stated that the price already included the night rate at the time of booking. He insisted that it should be even more expensive simply because it was late at night.

This conversation felt very sketchy, and I told him that I refused to pay extra and that if he was not satisfied, he should cancel the ride so I could get my money back. At that point, I was already feeling uncomfortable and unsafe.

A few minutes later, he called back and said he would accept the ride anyway because he also had another trip from Amsterdam, so it “worked for him.” However, by then I did not feel safe at all, but because it was 2 a.m. and there was no realistic alternative on such short notice, I was forced to take the ride.

What made the situation even worse was that the car details did not match. On the sneleentaxi website, my reservation showed a white car with a specific brand and license plate, while the driver told me on the phone he would arrive in a black car with a completely different plate number. When I questioned this, he said he had simply “forgotten to change it.”

As a woman traveling alone at 2 a.m., this was extremely stressful and frightening. Price disputes right before pickup, mismatched vehicle information, and vague explanations are unacceptable and unsafe.

I would strongly warn others, especially women traveling alone at night, to avoid sneleenaxi. This experience felt unprofessional, unreliable, and unsafe from start to finish.

Second time. First time very unfriendly driver. Second time driver texed me on WhatasApp That he could not come becourse a car problem. That was 01.00 a.m. He was supposed to pick me up at 08.00 a.m.. He would not arrange another taxi for me. So, never again sneleentaxi.

Fast and efficient. I ordered a cab at late night to leave a party at early morning. fast booking online, the driver was 5min. early, really ponctual. The travel happened fast and without issues. Great service.

Hasan was a very great driver. We had a great chat on my way to the airport. Recommended!!! Deserves more than 5 stars!

Booked a taxi. Provided flight details. Arrived at passport control to be confronted by a huge queue. Contacted the driver, with difficulty, and informed him/her of situation. Kept the driver uptodate and when through passport control asked where the pick up point was. Headed directly to the pick up point to be confronted by lots of taxis. Contacted the driver again, who said he/she was there. There was no information identifying the car or the driver. The taxi drove off leaving me stranded at the airport. The last comment I received from the driver was 'get another taxi'. Absolutely appalling. Contacted Customer Services who quoted terms and conditions. I may have just been unlucky but if you do get held up at passport control due to circumstances outwith your control, this is not the company for you.. This must be a common occurrence and you would think time would be factored in but no. Definitely not. They take your money and don't care if they leave you stranded. They are the cheapest option but far from the best option as I found out. There is no customer service. All very disappointing but lesson learned. Do not go for the cheapest option. They did offer me a small credit which I refused. How could you trust this company again when they take your money and don't provide you with the service you paid for.

If you want a safe journey book elsewhere!

I live in The Hague and we arrived home from schiphol in under 30 mins. Our driver was speeding all the way down the freeway, weaving in between cars and nearly collided with a truck.

I can deal with the impolite approach and abrupt approach (I have lived here long enough). I also happily paid the 20 euro fee for being late… don’t really care about that

But never again will I book this company as I never felt so unsafe with someone flying around like we were in the F1.
It was appalling and so scary… ps. In the back of a Tesla there are no handle bars to hold onto. So we were flying around like our bags in the boot.! I’m still sick just thinking of the whole experience

Everything perfect, good service for a reasonable price

After being shocked that the price from another taxi got tripled in 5 minutes time, we found sneleentaxi online.
Perfectly on time and a fair price.
Very good reason to use them again.

We are extremely satisfied with the trip from Hoorn to Schiphol and how friendly our lovely driver was.

We had a booked and paid appointment for 1am on sunday, we needed to reach the amsterdam airport. The driver didn't come and told something about he would come at 2.30 - we were waiting in the cold outside.
Then we took bus and train (on our own extra cvosts) - and thx to god we did, because the driver didn't arrive until 3am.

Be careful - they take your money but don't catch the appointment.
And the best: you get a whatsapp "if you dont accept, cancel the ride" whern you don't have a chance to book somebody else.

We had booked taxi for 2pm, but taxi didn't turn up till later.

The calling the driver didn't work, went to a different number to the driver.

Sneleentaxi Highly recommended! Fast, professional, and reliable. I left my phone behind, and the driver returned it immediately at Rotterdam Airport.

I've booked several taxis through their page from a rehearsal studio to the hotel in Utrecht. They never got on time. On top of it, one day we finished at the studio a bit later and the taxi left after less than 10 minutes wait. They charge us for the trip. Never gave refund and we had to book another cab. Also they said they contact us, I have no missed calls or text on my phone. And the price is the double of any other taxi service. Don't book them.

Had two instances of booking being charged and then having the rides cancelled, why use an unreliable system which you cannot rely on and then have to wait to get your money back

Great service. Driver arrived early and was knowledgeable about the area. We hit traffic but still arrived on time.

I booked 2 taxi’s on one day, both send me a text, to look for me, and we departed on time

i used this company numerous times, but the very last time which has exposed massive gaps in their operations and customer supports.
i ordered taxi for 4-40 am to go the airport, at 4-42 i was outside and taxi was not there. both me and my husband have tried to call the driver- he was unreachable. i contacted customer support via chat- they asked some questions and than stopped to reply without finding a solution. in the end i ordered an uber and thanks god i was on time for my flight.

the best part, despite the service was not provided i haven’t received a reimbursement.
company relied on drivers statement that
1. he was driving around as he couldn’t park at my place
2. he tried to call me i haven’t replied
So despite i have a photo- proof that there was plenty of parking slots in front of my apartment where drivers could’ve parked, confirmations that i tried to contact the driver, and obviously chat history with the service desk- company has denied my compensation request.

i definitely don’t recommend this service provider.
