Super happy with our new sofa, but the delivery process was a disaster

Great customer experience at the Antwerp showroom, the staff really took their time to accompany us in our choice and was very accommodating. We are happy with our purchase, the pieces look great, of good quality, the sofa is comfortable and really changes our room for the better! The quality price ratio was also satisfactory.

I gave it only 4 stars because the delivery aspect taken care of by their contractor (49 euros charge on your bill, so this is not even included) was NOT good. The first link they sent to indicate when we would like to be delivered was broken, so the client service of SofaCompany had to step up and arrange the date of the delivery by email. Then, we waited the entire day at home from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm with no indication of the exact range they could come by (though they tell you the link gets updated the day before around 6pm to give you a 2 hour window, not true or simply not done). The page then said that the delivery failed because we weren't home, although no one tried to call us on the mobile number we provided or ring the door bell. We had to follow up ourselves and reschedule a new delivery date, the next day was not possible so it was the day after. Once again, the page did not get updated the evening before so we had no idea when the delivery staff would drop by. When they arrived, they took out the packages from the truck to the lobby of our building (my husband helping and carrying some packages as well), and although we had a lift, they did not bother bringing any package upstairs to our floor. The biggest package (the sofa) was not fitting, though we knew from the sofa dimension that all we had to do was to remove the sofa from the box, they did not bother to help us and remove the sofa from the box. They claimed that they were not allowed to do so. We had to take another 45 minutes on our day to do it ourselves and complete the delivery that we paid money for. And of course it perfectly fit the lift as we had expected.
SofaCompany offered an in-kind compensation for the annoyance of the delivery, which was appreciated. I truly hope they change delivery contractors who left a sour note to what would otherwise be a perfectly smooth and seamless transaction.

Great sofa, nice services!

Great sofa, smooth and quick delivery, sympathetic people in the shop!
We orderer 2 pillows, the colour of them was not a good choice (from us) with the colour of the sofa and at the shop, they changed them without problem!

Great Quality

I am very satisfied with the purchase of the Elis 3 module sofa from SOFACOMPANY. Build quality is really solid and the sofa is comfortable. The delivery company chosen by them is also really good and makes the experience of receiving the package really nice. One small minus is that the sofa cover itself came with a lot of small post-processing particles and i had to manually remove them piece by piece, because the vaccum cleaner couldn't handle them. Overall I will recommend sofacompany to my friends.

Overall a good experience

Overall a good experience: I visited the Antwerp showroom and staff were really friendly and helpful, and I managed to pick up some fabric samples and model cards. But unfortunately they didn’t have the sofa I was interested in in the store. I ordered it anyway and generally the experience was good (though it would be really great for the website to exist in English and/or French as well as Dutch). Delivery was good in that I could select the day I wanted and I was then given a 2 hour slot one day in advance, but in the end they came about 4 hours later than originally planned. The outer packaging of my sofa was damaged but luckily the sofa was in perfect condition. The delivery drivers were really friendly and went above and beyond to get the boxes up my narrow stairs to the second floor.

Very poor delivery service

Very poor delivery service. Even though Sofacompany said the couch will be delivered to the second floor, nevertheless they just dropped it on the ground floor and left.

Great couch and great service

We initially ordered a couch which we realized would be too big for our living room. We were able to cancel the order when the couch was already scheduled to be delivered, which was great. We then ordered a different couch (Noa in beige) and absolutely love it. It's comfortable and looks great.

dangerous when your partner does your client facing...

Good contact with the company itself; but poor delivery service. You paid for delivery on the 3th floor... and they refuse to bring it up. The agreement was written on paper; I don't need 15 minutes of discussion with the delivery guys.

So Sofacompany, choose your partners (TNS Groen in this case) wisely, because this was a 4-star experience and they made it a 3-star experience.
