I purchased 2 sofas from Sofalistic Appauling
I purchased 2 sofas from Sofalistic, 1st sofa delivery was good. However my second sofa, this is turning into a nightmare. 1st delivery date, I got a call late the day before to say the sofa was on the wrong van, and it sounded like a delivery attempt was made to the wrong home. It was going to take over a week to get the sofa back to the correct distribution centre. Wednesday I get a mumbled voicemail saying they will attend on Thursday, I was unsure what or if I was the correct person they contacted. Later that day another call to me to say good news my sofa is going to be delivered and this was arranged for today 28 March 2026 between 1 and 4pm. Great I thought. So my window man came at 9am took my window out, so there was not issues with delivery. As you are aware the weather turned cold this week and I have sat here freezing 🥶 waiting for my sofa.. 1pm came, not call from the drivers, 2pm again nothing, same for 3pm, 4pm & 5pm 6pm finally my window man has been at 7pm put my window back in.. no call to give an update - I purchased the sofa on the 2 March 2026 4 seater morland, sorry if you are the seller waiting for your money to be released reading this.
There is no number goes to voicemail and there is no alternative number to call.
Im livid 2nd attempt failed, customer service from the drivers to update customers is nil - would i use this company again. NO...
I will do another email, although there has been no response from my first email yet sent 10 days ago.. for the delivery charge I expected a lot better from professional sofa delivery company. I am out of pocket again to my window man who came did his job. I am livid hence my post on trust pilot!

This platform is great, massively expands the available second hand sofa options as delivery can be arranged over long distances.
This enabled me to find a great quality sofa at a great price.
When I had an issue caused by the delivery company (outside of sofalistics control). Sofalistic had no issues coming to a resolution with me and so I'd happily recommend them and use them again.

I had a very negative experience where I was scammed and lost a significant amount of money. Sofalistic stated they are “just a platform” and cannot take responsibility if the correct procedures aren’t followed. However, all the information I used to contact the seller came directly from their site, where sellers are presented as “verified,” which gave me a false sense of trust.
After reporting the issue, I was told the listing wasn’t legitimate and it was removed. Yet I later contacted the same seller through another number, and they told me they still have multiple sofas listed on Sofalistic. This raises serious concerns about how well the site is monitored.
Overall, I felt there was no real accountability or care for customers. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before using this platform.

Be wary if you are selling
Sofa I listed at a very reasonable price was supposedly boosted for a few days when I paid £5.99 for this but I could not see it featured after the first day. I'm really not convinced that it was worth it, zero interest in my sofa. I wonder whether there are more people trying to sell than people visiting the site to buy!

Excellent service
I was a little nervous about using this company as it all felt a bit too good to be true, however it was really quite impressive. From uploading the listing to receiving the money, everything happening with a few weeks and the communication throughout was excellent. A really great service that I would recommend to anyone either buying or selling a pre-loved sofa.

We wanted a new sofa but not buy brand new as we have young children. I had my sofa 20 years it was definitely time for some new comfort in our cushions.
Stumbled across sofalistic and immediately got searching. Literally perfect. Various sofas to choose from ranging in all different prices and brands. We had a budget in mind and stuck to it. Communications with seller excellent.
We decided on our new sofa, I like the fact you can exchange messages with the seller. Purchased sofa, email confirmation excellent - detailing your delivery and what to expect.

Excellent way of selling your old sofas
Have updated my review following excellent customer service support from Sofalistic (thank you Carly!).
Decided to use Sofalistic to sell my old sofas. After an initial few weeks, my ad listing received an offer which I accepted (note you have to do this within 48hr window otherwise you lose that sale). I was then prompted to select a collection date. The day before my nominated collection date, I received a phone call with an approximate 2-3 hour time slot and on the day itself I received a courtesy call to alert me when the driver was approx 30 mins away. My sofas were packaged up and taken away. I received email confirmation the next day informing me that my sofas had arrived at the local hub and would be making its way to Sofalistic’s National Distribution Centre shortly to be delivered to the buyer. A week later I received a further update informing me the sofas had been received into their National Distribution centre and that a date for delivery with the buyer had been confirmed.
There had been a very minor delay in getting confirmation that my sofas had been delivered successfully. This was down to a delay with the driver marking it as delivered (admin error).
Carly from Customer Support looked into this for me and got it resolved and I received payment.

Sofalistic made selling my sofa quick and stress free. Within 2 weeks the sofa sold on their website to my surprise. The website is easy to use and all messaging is done through the site with potential buyers. Once the sale was confirmed, I chose a preferred collection date which was then later confirmed by one of the team a day or 2 later. The Sofa Company collected the sofa and wrapped it up very professionally to protect it until delivery at the other end. Payment was swift and the whole process start to finish was complete in a couple of weeks. Communication throughout was excellent. Would definitely recommend for quick and stress free selling.

Very rare do i post a review but on this occasion i feel it warrants it after purchasing a sofa via the Sofalistic platform. Through no fault of there own, it unfortunately was damaged during transit. I am so glad i bought it through there site. After speaking with a very apologetic Carly representing Sofalistic, there was no arguments and a full refund was issued, including the shipping charges. Would recommend buying through Sofalistic as they are true to there word when they say your fully protected. Well done first class customer service.
Terrible service
Terrible service. Sofalistic have a 48 hour period where the seller has to authorise the sale and arrange collection. TWICE I’ve paid for a sofa and been let down, had to wait 2 days before the sale was cancelled and refunded. Wasted 4+ days because of a crap system of 48 hours, now I still have to find a sofa elsewhere. It’s 2026, we all have mobile phone stuck at our hip. 24 hours is more than enough time for someone who is serious to accept the sale of their item!

Fantastic service
To be totally honest, it has been the best service possible. The whole experience has been fantastic, from being informed of the delivery date and time window, to the two brilliant delivery drivers who brought the sofa into my apartment and assembled it. I would definitely use again and certainly recommend them.
Poor experience with the delivery company
Sofalistic did the job well but the delivery company cancelled my delivery on the same day and rescheduled after one more week, after the dead line. I have asked for a parcial refund and they said they will contact me but they never did.

Awful customer experience. Sent 3 urgent emails over a week with no reply. They cancelled the order less than 24 hours before collection was supposed to take place. Think again before you buy from here, has cost me more money and time than worth.

Thank you for your response, however it still does not address the key issues.
I understand the 48-hour confirmation policy. The concern here is not the policy itself, but how it was applied. If my confirmation was outside the allowed timeframe, the system should not have accepted it. By allowing the confirmation to go through, it created a reasonable expectation that the sale was confirmed and proceeding.
I relied on that confirmation to arrange and pay for transportation and storage during a house move and am still continuing to pay for this as a result. Despite this, I was only informed of the cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled collection, which is far too late and resulted in avoidable costs.
There were also clear inconsistencies in your communication, including conflicting emails and incorrect personal details, with emails addressed to me as a different name which further contributed to the confusion.
From a consumer perspective, this raises concerns around reliance on system confirmations and the timing of key communications, particularly where financial loss is involved.
I would appreciate this being reviewed properly, including whether any compensation is appropriate given the circumstances. Failing that, I will consider escalating this matter further.
I hope you can get back to me (via one of my original emails I sent) and this can be resolved promptly and fairly.

Refused to bring sofa into room.
I’m extremely disappointed with my delivery experience.
I paid for delivery to my room of choice, including unpacking and setup, but none of this was completed. The drivers attempted to bring the sofa in once, then immediately said it wouldn’t fit. They didn’t try a different angle, didn’t turn the sofa properly, didnt remove the bulky packaging or lifting equipment attached to it and didn’t make any real effort to problem-solve.
It's like trying to put your fist into a glove - your hand does fit, if you position it properly.
Instead, they told me I would need to remove my door but didn’t even give me the opportunity to do that before deciding it was impossible. They took photos and were adamant that it would not fit.
That was completely incorrect.
The sofa did fit.
I personally managed to get one section in myself (which I absolutely should not have had to do), and the remaining, larger sections were also brought in without any issue and importantly, without needing to remove the door at all.
For the delivery fee paid, I expected a proper service and a reasonable level of effort. What I received instead was a single failed attempt and a refusal to complete the job.
I had previously been recommending Sofalistic to others, but after this experience, I wouldn’t.
