I recently purchased a sofa and armchair, and I couldn't be happier with my experience in-store. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. They guided me through the various options, answered all my questions with patience, and really made sure I found exactly what I was looking for.
I'd highly recommend this store in Rugby to anyone looking for quality furniture and top-notch service. A big thank you to all the seller guys in the shop for making the experience so enjoyable – you absolutely deserve this super review!
Five stars from me!

Bought online but also visited the Rugby store first just to look and feel the sofas first. The Rugby store looked fantastic and the staff were very welcoming but not pushy in any way. Very helpful when asked a question.

This was such a relaxed sofa shopping experience at Sofology.
I initially visited DFS in Rugby as I wanted to check out all sofa stores in the retail park to see all options. I was eventually approached by a very sad lady who genuinely seemed depressed that she was selling sofas. After checking out what I was interested in, I told her I would be visiting the other retailers and she then started basically implying that Sofology was technically the same company as DFD and for a different class of clientele. Unusual comment. Was I not good enough in her estimation? Or was it beneath me? Who knows.
I then went to Sofology. The store looks a lot nicer in my opinion. I like the lay out and it does look more tasteful.
The staff were very pleasant, and just said hello but didn’t follow me around the store. They didn’t approach me until I beckoned one of them over to ask some questions.
I was impressed by the member of staff who seemed to know the products well, even down to quoting the size of the specific sofa in centimetres from memory.
He asked where I had been and where I would be looking next. He did not badmouth or talk down either store, and when I said I would be going to Furniture Village, he explained where I could find the similar sofa I was interested in.
After a terrible experience in Furniture Village (where a staff member grabbed me straight away and then sat at the sofa with me, pulled out a tablet and tried to take my order before I had even looked at the options, making me feel really uncomfortable and pressured) I immediately returned to Sofology to once again examine my options.
The staff welcomed me back and just allowed me to return to the same sofa as before, again without following me.
All of the staff were smiling, happy and personable, and didn’t have that ‘salesperson’ vibe. They all actually had a character and personality and it was a very relaxed atmosphere.
They were pleasant, informative and helpful, without being pushy or overbearing.
Sofology understand that customers will shop around and can be ‘picky’ with a potential long term investment of a sofa. It’s in the adverts around the store and on TV’s.
I eventually decided that the Sofology sofa was the one for me.
A lot of that was down to the staff and atmosphere in the store, even though there was a cheaper alternative in Furniture Village.
In my opinion, not only was the build quality noticeably better in Sofology, but the overall experience was much more pleasureable and the way they have the sofas displayed shows much more care. They have little living room set ups, which not even DFS seem to have.
I said I was ready to place my order, but the member of staff who was helping me suggested that I take samples of material home to check the colours before making any decision, and perhaps sleep on it. How refreshing to not feel like they needed to quickly get a sale in before I left the store.
This was a lovely refreshing experience, and perhaps if other retailers had their staff and salespeople behave like Sofology, maybe they would attract customers rather then like in my situation, where they pushed me away.

We went into the store late one evening, Lisa approached us smiling and offered help if we needed any. We got chatting, she answered all my questions and explained everything fully, no pressure, very helpful.

Lisa at the Rugby Branch deserves a customer service oscar! We saw the Paramount online and popped into Rugby to take a look, Lisa served us in the most casual friendly non pushy sales way but also really professional. Once we got home and measured we decided we didn't want to order online & would rather go back to see Lisa. We popped in yesterday evening to confirm the purchase, Lisa wasn't in so Fran completed the sale for us - Fran was lovely, casually professional and extremely knowledgeable.
If it hadn't been for our interaction with Lisa, we may have ordered online or in another branch. I cant compliment them both enough - Thank you - We cant wait for our new Sofa :)

Enjoyable experience in the Rugby branch , brilliant sales assistant Lloyd , who knew buying a sofa could be so much fun 😆 needed to change the order from a 3 x seater to 2 x seater and had 48hours to comply … Twice phoned customer service and was told someone would be back in touch , too slow ! Had to phone shop and push for a change sadly not good enough, 3 calls in total. Hoping goods are delivered on time 🤞
