Solar Panel Protect - Solar Panel Bird Protection Reviews

We had a fantastic experience with Rory and would absolutely recommend his pigeon proofing service. Right from the start, he was incredibly professional and friendly. He took the time to clearly explain the entire process, the equipment he uses, and what to expect — every detail was covered with transparency and care.

What truly stood out was the quality of service at a very reasonable price. I had received some ridiculous quotes from other providers, mostly because they insisted on using scaffolding. Rory, however, managed everything using a harness, ropes, and a ladder, even though our property is quite high. This made a huge difference in cost and convenience, without compromising on safety or quality.

He also cleaned out the pigeon nest thoroughly and showed me everything before and after the job. He even did a walkthrough to ensure I was satisfied. I could tell he genuinely cares about his customers and their homes.

Another big plus — no drilling on the solar panels, which was something I was really concerned about. The job was done cleanly, efficiently, and with great respect for the property.

I’m genuinely impressed with Rory’s work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and affordable pigeon proofing.

Rory was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly from start to finish. We had our solar panels pigeon-proofed and they were accessed without an extra scaffolding structure, which enabled Rory to be extremely competitive on price and exercise his climbing talents! Would highly recommend!

Rory is absolutely brilliant.
I had an awful experience with a solar panel installer, trying to charge 5x the price and ultimately removing their bird protection.
I was so lucky to find Rory, he gave so much advice. The bird protection he installed was a much more professional installation. You can really tell the difference in quality of install. Also Rory provides a 10 year guarantee, which you don’t get elsewhere.
Friends have also had bird protection installed by their solar panel installers which has insufficient clips, so it came away when it snowed
I would highly recommend getting Rory to do your solar panel bird protection. It is a thorough and professional job, with a guarantee and was very competitively priced.
Thank you Rory you are amazing and helped me out so much. I’m truly grateful

Rory impressed from start go finish. He has an armoury of up to date techniques and solutions for issues around accessibility of solar panels. He explains things very clearly and enjoyably. He's a professional. His work involves him in risk, but he loves climbing! If he's not cheap, you get a great job & 10yr guarantee.

Rory has done a great job bird proofing our panels (we have 9). He was very efficient from start to finish. Rory gave us a quote on the same day we've approached him explaining everything we needed to know. Came within 10 days to do the job. Charged a reasonable price for the work he's done with no additional cost after he completed the job. Explained the process and what kind of materials he was using. We're very happy with the outcome and we'll highly recommend Rory to anyone needing bird proofing services.

I found Rory online and was impressed by the positive reviews but concerned he wouldn't cover as far as Hertfordshire so emailed him to enquire. He rang me straight away and we had a great chat about our situation and how he could help. We'd been putting off finding a solution to our pigeon problem due to being convinced it would be unaffordable, so were amazed at the price quoted. Obviously because Rory uses ropes and ladders without scaffolding, it means you're mainly paying for his expertise and time. We managed to book him in the following week and the whole thing took less than 4 hours from arrival to departure. Rory checked for nests, evicted the pigeons and cleaned the gutters before fitting the wire mesh. Ten minutes later we had some very confused pigeons as they were unable to regain entry! It was an absolute pleasure meeting Rory and we would highly recommend Solar Panel Protection.

Rory was just great from start to finish. Responded the same day to my request for a quote. Gave me a date which was which was less than two weeks ahead. When he fitted the protection he explained everything he was doing at each stage very clearly and took photos of the roof/panels before and after his work. He worked around all the pots and plant at the side of my house without any trouble and cleared up all the mess from the old nests afterwards.

Rory clearly has a passion for what he is doing and takes great care in. I was particularly impressed by the quality of materials he is using and his assurances about follow-up work (if needed) over the ten year guarantee period.

Rory was responsive and reasonably priced. High-quality work and a genuinely nice guy. I’d definitely use his services again.

Our solar panels came with bird protection, but within 3 years it had completely failed and our roof was covered in pigeons. Rory removed the old system, cleared out the pigeons and generally sorted everything out to a high standard. Also takes his safety seriously when working from height so no worries about someone falling off your roof!

Rory is professional clean and tidy great workmanship and fairly priced highly recommended

Can't recommend Rory highly enough. Lovely to deal with, high quality workmanship. Don't go anywhere else to protect your panels from pests.

Rory Morgan at Solar Panel Protect was excellent from start to finish. His communication was clear and prompt right from the quoting stage—very professional and easy to deal with. What stood out immediately was how genuinely interested he is in his work, and how considerate he was in dealing with the pigeons nesting under our solar panels.

There was no fuss, but plenty of useful updates along the way to keep me informed of progress. The materials he used were top quality, and the mesh is barely noticeable—clearly chosen with aesthetics in mind, which I really appreciated.

He gave a 10-year guarantee and it’s obvious he stands by the quality of his workmanship. Rory is personable, reliable, and clearly builds his business on reputation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

What great service! I needed the work done quickly.Rory responded promptly and was able to fit me in at short notice. The work was completed professionally and expertly and was accompanied with lots of useful advice.

Work carried out a few weeks ago. Waited until I could give results . From start to finish Rory explained every step showing progress and results with pictures and evidence. All work was carried out efficiently and very effectively, plus with a 10yr guarantee I can breathe in peace. My panels had not been installed for long was amazed at the mess they created . So a big thankyou Rory and would more than highly recommend him to anyone with a pigeon problem. Oh and I checked today , not a pigeon in sight 👍👍😆

Rory is a true professional.
He explained what he was going to do . He is very thorough and completed a tidy job. You don’t even notice the new protection panels.
Rory gave advise on how to manage the protection and to contact him if any concerns.
Photos and video of the work completed .
Very pleased with the results.

Rory fenced my sola panels 6 weeks ago with a ten year guarantee. Today he came back now the pigeons have gone and cleaned the mess off them. He is a really nice chap and explains everything and takes photos for you at each stage. His price is also very reasonable.

Rory provided a great service. Kept me updated on his arrival. Completed the work promptly and provided photos of his work. He has a full working knowledge of birds. Which gave me confidence. He is polite and friendly and talked me through what to expect.

Thank you so much to Rory.
Have me a quote within minutes of me emailing.
And booked the works in promptly.
So happy with my results.
I urge anyone with solar panels to get bird proofing and I recommend 100% Rory is your guy.
Thank you again!
Gemma

Thank again to Rory for being flexible and able to revisit at the same time as the panel installers when I they needed to come back and modify the setup.
It was reassuring to know the bird protection was maintained with no opportunity for the birds to find a way back in before the defences were back in place.
Even better Rory used his drone to provide me with an all round video view from the air to see the installation was as secure and tidy from the sides I would not see (a usefully tool he can use to look at roofs without access).

As my last review, very impressed with the workmanship and would encourage anyone without protection on their panels to give Rory a call.

Rory was fantastic! He tackled the job with both efficiency and genuine enthusiasm. A really nice guy, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
