Solar Panel Protect - Solar Panel Bird Protection Reviews

I contacted Rory on recommendation from my daughter. His response was swift and he came a few days later. The service he provided was excellent. He explained what he was going to do and then did it! He is very friendly and professional and obviously loves what he does. I was able to have a shower this morning without hearing a single pigeon.
I would not hesitate to recommend Rory to anyone needing their solar panels protected.

Rory and his service was great! You can barely notice the black meshwork which was one of the reasons we had selected him in the first place. Top notch.

Our roof under the solar panels became heavily infested with pigeons. Rory replied to my enquiry quickly and sent me a competitive price quote. He also dropped by to see the site on his way to another job, and we agreed on the date. When I was unable to keep the original date because of unanticipated travel, Rory kindly rescheduled to another date. He did a great job on cleaning out the debris and putting the mesh around the panels. He also explained what happens next and gave helpful advice on further steps with panel cleaning. I highly recommend his service.

It’s rare these days to encounter a tradesman who goes of their way to go above and beyond when it comes to delivering a first class service…. But Rory sits firmly in this category!!!
He’s a personable guy, someone who clearly enjoys his work, does a great job, and kept to every single commitment he made.
Top tradesman, who I’ll definitely be recommending to anyone in search for someone in his line of work!

Great service by Rory at Solar Panel Protect. Arrived as per plan, no messing around, netting applied all around our panels (2 sets - front and back of house). Really really happy, and a cool drone video to demonstrate the work done!

When I rang with an enquiry, Rory answered personally. We discussed the pigeon problem, and he explained the service which he offers. We arranged a date for him to come out and pigeon-proof the solar panels and deal with any nests and debris. He arrived early, worked very efficiently, and left the pigeons with a nesting problem!

Highly recommended.

Arrived in good time, explained clearly what would be done, cleared out gutter while up the ladder as well as protecting the panels. Checked roof while up there too. Friendly with good customer service.

Our solar panels had become home to a number of pigeons over the past couple of years. I contacted Rory who was able to fit me in within a couple of weeks, which worked for us.
Rory was very knowledgeable about Pigeons, knowing about their history and behaviour but also kept me up to date with how things were going during the whole process, from start to finish and advised on what to expect after the proofing had been installed.
Highly recommend.

Rory is easy to work with and happily showed the product he was installing before it was installed, explained how it worked and then provided copious photos of the installation. He also guarantees his work for 10 years

The solar panels on our roof had become home to a reasonably large number of pigeons. I called several businesses, but struggled to get much in the way if a response until Rory gave me a call.

Rory came and had a look in person because the roof of my house had a reasonably steep pitch. During the assessment Rory gave me great advice and information about what options we had. As well as thoroughly explaining what was required and why.

On the day Rory was prompt, kept me updated and informed. Rory has an immense eye for detail and was very thorough whilst being hugely knowledgeable. An absolute professional, and I'd have no issues whatsoever recommending his work.

My solar panels started having a lot of pigeons hanging around under them, causing mess and noise and I really started to worry about the mess and long term damage to the panels.

The web site gave me hope of the solution to my nesting birds.. and Noise..I emailed Rory for a quote to sort my problem out, and he immediately came back to me within 1 day for a solution and cost.
I was Priveledged to meet Rory on my return from work as a buildings manager and he impressed me with his can do attitude. Rory has the skills and knowledge to perform an expert job in proofing solar panels.
Rory explains everything really clearly from enquiry through to the completion of the job, which is so reassuring and completed a superb job.
Rory uses top notch materials, knows his stuff and is very fair on pricing considering the high quality job he performs.

I am happy to say I no longer frequently wake to the cooing of pigeons now that they can't get under my panels anymore.
I would definately recommend Rory's services to anyone with a similar proofing problem.

After a lot of research and googling I decided on Solar Panel Protect to do the work. I got quotes from 6 traders and Rory's was the cheapest... I would not usually go with the cheapest quote but I was impressed by the previous Trustpilot reviews and was not disappointed. A very professional job. Rory was very efficient and explained everything, providing photos and a 10 year guarantee after the work was done. Thank you Rory and thanks to others who left such glowing reviews!

Our solar panels started having a lot of pigeons hanging around under them, causing mess and noise and I really started to worry about costly long term damage to our panels.

After searching around for different solutions and starting to lose hope, someone recommended Rory to me. Thank goodness! Rory has the skills and knowledge to perform an expert job in proofing solar panels. I was very relieved to not be hit with scaffolding costs that other companies had quoted me.

Having inherited solar panels that had no bird proofing and consequently lots of birds, it was a bit of a struggle to find a) a company that wanted to do the work b) a company that wanted to do the work without automatically saying the job needed scaffolding and so almost doubling the cost. Then I found Rory and Solar Panel Protect! Rory is in short, excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He talked me through the whole process beforehand, was able to complete the job safely without the need for scaffolding and at a reasonable price. He provided me with photographs of the work he'd done and also provides a guarantee. It's no wonder all his reviews are excellent. I really can't recommend him highly enough. If you need bird protection for your solar panels, then Rory is your man.

I highly recommend Rory for bird proofing your solar panels. He was very quick to respond and able to do the job the same week. He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. He takes pride in his work and ensured that he did a very professional job including thoroughly cleaning the roof and gutters. He is a really friendly guy who took the time to fully explain what he was doing and provided photos of the work he had done. I decided to book Rory based on his fantastic reviews and I am so pleased that did. Thank you Rory!

Great communication and professional service. The quality of the work and service is exceptional and a pleasure to do business with. I would be happy and confident to recommend to anyone.

A job done perfectly by a truly great bloke. It's a shame he does not provide a service that is needed more often. Would deff use Rory again.

Rory clearly takes pride in the quality of the work that he does and that customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to him. An excellent job, highly recommended.

I e-mailed Rory to request a quote and he called me back the same day, explaining the process and answering my questions very clearly. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and professional and his quote was very reasonable. He was able to fit us in the same week, which was amazing! He did a great job on the day, cleaning the gutters as well as the roof, installing the mesh guards, keeping us informed throughout and showing us photos of the end result (which looks perfect and is guaranteed for 10 years). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Thanks so much Rory!

As another person wrote: "if you need your panels pigeon proofed, Rory is your man" and I can only second and emphasise that. From first contact Rory tells you what he is going to do, how he is going to do it, the materials he will use, and tells you all about the General Pest Control Licence that is applicable. He arrived exactly on time, talked me through the entire process, removed the nests (with eggs) and very neatly applied the mesh to ensure that nothing can get under the panels. He gives a ten year guarantee on his work which indicates his confidence in his skill, his materials and the high level of his work. He also cleared far more of the gutter than he needed to. So, if you need someone to stop pigeons getting under your panels contact Rory - you will not be disappointed.
