Wish I could give 0 stars I don't know how this company has a 3* rating there the worst insurance company iv ever had to deal with nearly 4 months after there customer crashed into the back of me and they haven't admitted liability absolute set of useless scamming scumbags I will take you to court and sue you for purposely doing absolutely nothing to sort out my claim everyday the cost is incurring I have physio for my injuries a hire car and you will foot the bill totally as your 100% liable for this accident u don't have a leg to stand on and I'm gonna launch legal proceedings

3rd party admitted to crashing into my van in a car park. We exchanged details. Long story short, engineers claimed my vehicle had chassis damage when it did not, it was cosmetic only and categorised it as an S rather than N. I questioned this mistake as there was only some dents and scuffs. Engineer agreed they made a mistake. Passed details onto Somerset Bridge and they have point blank refused fo engage with Vizion and Nova, the engineers and garage who assessed my van. By saying there is damage when there is not, it not only increases 3rd party premiums and is unfair treatment to customer, it is fraud. 3rd party has made a complaint which still remains unresolved even with chasing emails. My van still remains damaged as SB will not change the report to the honest one. Disgusting treatment for both myself and the 3rd party customer. We are taking this to the financial ombudsman as this insurance company are awful. Accident occurred June 2025 and we're now in October. I still haven't recieved a correct category or a pay out when I'm entitled to "cash in lieu" for a category N that I am legally entitled to ask for. Staff ignore emails, don't solve problems and use incorrect documents to base their claims on. Their reply will be a fob off copy and pasted reply so be warned. I think I'll go to the newspapers and share my story because this can't be happening to just me. It needs to be solved asap. The 3rd party and myself aren't happy. Still ongoing!

Every one have to avoid the Somerset Bridge insurance. Before proceeding with this insurance company read the feedbacks. They will not pay out any claim, that's why they are cheaper. Avoid the Somerset Bridge insurance! If you not avoid later you will regret. I just complained to the ombudsman!

If i could I would give them a rating of minus 100,Avoid this underwriter they are truly shocking,a straightforward non fault accident took a year to resolve they took my money and held it until i demanded it and finally the hire car company they Kindertons use to deal with your claim are so focused on giving you a hire vehicle in order to make them stacks of money and then offer you an atrocious so called valuation then you have a fight to prove the market value of your vehicle prepare for a fight as there business partners called Kindertons are even worse,please save yourselves alot of grief and avoid these crooks.

I wish I could do lower then a 1.
My car got stolen unfortunately and I sent the car key off to them. They asked why the key was tapped which I explained I dropped it and it’s been like this for 6 months. They then took all the tape off and have said there is no battery which there definitely was as it’s the only key!
When Somerset bridge sent the key to the garage they said it wasn’t tapped and was all in bits.
They have now said because there is no battery they can’t pay out!
So I’m stuck with a car, the damage is unknown as they won’t check, and they’ve took the battery out of my car key just so they didn’t have to pay out.
I’m so happy I took a picture beforehand with it taped up because at least my solicitor have said I’ve got a case!
Please please do not use these!
