My favourite place to shop for bikinis. I have been purchasing my bikinis from sommer for years and the quality is incredible and they last forever. The customer service is quick and super attentive.

I have never experienced such a terrible customer service in my life.
I placed an order worth $327 and received not one, but TWO faulty items.
• First, a top with a hole and another incorrect style.
• Then, a replacement top that arrived BROKEN.

I had to return items twice at my own expense ($11.50 each time) due to their mistakes.
Despite endless emails explaining the situation (over 15 messages back and forth), they still refuse to refund both return postage costs.

The communication has been condescending, repetitive, and dismissive — constantly asking for proof I have already provided, and ignoring the fact that they sent defective goods twice.

It is unacceptable for a brand selling “luxury” swimwear to have such poor quality control and such unprofessional handling of a clear, documented issue. I will never purchase from Sommer Swim again and strongly advise others to avoid this brand.

Great selection of styles with beautiful colors and unique cuts. I wear a small but with cup size C or D... always find shopping swimsuits online challenging. Being able to shop separates is a benefit. I do agree with some of the reviews - the tops tend to run on the smaller size. But Client Service was super helpful in helping me find the right fit and supporting with returns so I could keep the bottoms whilst I found the right cut and size top. I'm now very happy with my Blue Fondale 2-piece. And will confidently buy again.

Always quick to respond and personal. Their sizing does run small.

I’m incredibly disappointed with my purchase from Sommer Swim. The bikini I received looked nothing like the one shown on their website — the photos are seriously misleading. I was expecting luxury quality, but instead got something you’d easily find on well-known Chinese shopping platforms.

Customer service and store policy? Unprofessional and completely outdated! Replies came at odd hours, clearly suggesting communication is handled from Asia.
The packaging was so sloppy I could hardly believe it… Not a single premium detail — it literally looked like someone tossed the items into a DHL plastic bag straight from a Chinese production line. I honestly wish I could attach a photo to show how bad it was.

On top of that, the package included a return form printed on cheap, grayish office paper that you have to fill out by hand — seriously? In 2025?
And yes, customers have to pay for their own return shipping, which is unacceptable given the price point and the supposedly “luxury” image of the brand.
Let me also mention that you have to pay for the initial shipping too :)

What’s worse, after doing a bit of digging, I discovered the exact same swimsuit models being sold on well-known Chinese e-commerce sites for a tenth of the price. There’s no doubt that Sommer Swim is just a dropshipping brand selling cheap products with a massive markup — and they’re not even trying to hide it.

I’ll be warning everyone I can about this store. Sommer Swim is nothing more than a marketing illusion and a straight-up scam. Be careful not to get fooled like I was…

I’ve personally always loved Sommer Swim and have a few of their pieces. I ordered one of their new swimsuits but mistakenly got a size too small in the top. I’m always hesitant to return international items that I get just because it’s a long process and there is always the chance of it getting lost. I did end up exchanging my top for the correct size and I had the pleasure of being in communication with one of the associates, Sarah Lewis. Not only was she very proactive with staying in communication (cause we all know how hard it is to get ahold of company reps), but she was also very kind and sweet and helped me make sure I did the return process correctly. Overall I personally had a positive experience with this return and I will still continue to order from Sommer in the future :)

Always been happy with my swimsuits! I have been a customer for years, I think I own about 10 of them by now and I must say the quality is one of the best. Truly love what they do ! The colors, the little gold details… the most elegant brand

Sarah Lewis was beyond helpful. I had made an error not reading the fine print correctly and she was quick, lovely and found a solution for me. Would highly recommend. I am very happy with the outcome and love the swimmers. The quality is unmatched. Will definitely be buying from here again

First off, the quality of these bikinis is top notch. I've never had a bikini of such elegant fabric and style... I absolutely love my purchase. I felt super sexy and sophisticated on my recent vacation.

The questionable: I'll address the return policy, which is an issue in many reviews. We are all used to being able to return things we order online that don't work for us/don't fit/aren't a good cut/etc. I, too, misinterpreted the fine print on Sommer's site and didn't realize bathing suits were "intimate items" and were exchange only. That's what I think could be made more clear if Sommer wants to get better reviews all around...plus up its integrity as a business.

Most women just see the "21 days returns" at the top of the screen and assume that means swimwear, since that's 95% of what Sommer sells. But, in reality, the "21 days returns" only applies to 14 items under the "resort wear" tab (which are very expensive items compared to the rest of the site.)

Because of the excellent customer service, I'm giving the company the benefit of the doubt in my assumption that they aren't intentionally being vague/confusing with the policy. But my heartfelt business advice as a business owner & consultant myself, is to change that banner to "21 days returns on resort wear" or "21 days easy exchanges" or just cut the banner completely. Also, instead of saying "intimate items" under your returns policy, say "swimwear". That makes everything clear as day 🙏🏽

I now have a store credit for over $400 because I didn't understand that "intimate items" meant bathing suits (even tops), and I thought I'd be able to return the ones that didn't fit/I didn't like (but all you can do is exchange.) I don't blame Sommer because, like I said, technically, they have their guidelines printed on their site. They are just not super clear and will continue to be easily misinterpreted by online shoppers.

Anyway: killer suit. Awesome customer service.

I ordered a wrong size and the support team was really kind and helpful. Shipping was really fast too, and since I had already paid it for the first time, they offered me a refund for the second purchase (right size).
The bikini fits perfect and quality is great.

Last year I bought the Rococo bikini online,amazing quality and absolutely beautiful colors and patterns! This year, I ordered a new style and had the pleasure of contacting customer service due to a mistake I made with the size. A huge thank you to Sarah for being so helpful!! It’s rare to find such kind and patient customer service these days!

I’ve been purchasing Sommer for a long time and I love the… the best materials and prints! In my last purchase I wrote wrong the delivery adress, but Sara was so kind and solve it really quickly. You have to only write to costumer service and they’ll help you with everything.

I'm obsessed with Sommor Swim's Bruna one-piece!! I recently purchased the leopard print design and it's just divine. The fabric is high-quality, super comfortable and provides the perfect balance of style and support. The sleek design flatters my figure, and it holds up beautifully after multiple swims. Whether at the beach or poolside, this piece makes me feel confident and chic. Highly recommend!

Falsely claims "easy returns" when they refuse to take returns at all for a number of items not listed anywhere on the website, and then when you fight them on it, they make you pay for return shipping and don't list anywhere online where to return shipping too. Impossible to complete and a terrible/dishonest buying experience.

Unfortunately the swimsuit I got is not suitable for swimming. The cups just slide away during any movements in water. It could have been prevented if the bra was simply made with padded cups. I literally didn't expect it and was swimming with my breast out in front of people and several local families with kids while on vacation in Dubai. Really hoped no one will report me and I won't end up in jail.

Very sad that I spent 250 euros on a swimsuit I can't use and it made the return process impossible because I only found out about this minus when I used it.

My advice don't buy any non-padded balconette or bralette bras from this brand.

The only brand I buy bikinis from! Being quite petite, it's always been hard to find swimwear that fits :(
But these are perfect. I always get compliments from friends when I wear them!

I’ve reached out to customer service a few times since I've found them (about restock dates and exchanges), and they’ve always replied within 24 hours and been super helpful.

Shocking experience.
I purchased this swimsuit back in March (it’s June now), and not only did they charge me over £50 in taxes as I live in the UK, but the size was also not right. Not because I bought a different size than usual—I have never worn a size bigger than S in my whole life for a bikini—so it’s their sizing system that doesn’t work, as the S was honestly a kid’s size. They make you pay to ship back your item and do not offer a free exchange, but only a voucher that’s worth less than your swimsuit—and then you have to pay shipping again (in and out of the EU). Honestly, beware. There are so many better brands out there.

I am really dissapointed about this brand. Making a lot of money with marketing and poor customer ‘service’, congrats!

First of all.. the sizes are really small. I have cup 75A and the size S top was wayyy to small and tight. If your purchase doesnt fit, they offer storecredit by default. But (in Europe at least) customers have the right to return the purchase for money back, also in sale. There was also no return adress on the website at the time I bought the bikini.

After I pointed this out by e-mail, I got a returnadress to some place in Germany. No return label. Had to pay for it myself. But hey, I paid over a 150 euro’s for a bikini, so what’s another 15?
Only to find out its not a real adress and my package got stuck, because of the non existing return policy. Package doesn’t get send back to me eighter because of the costs of international delivery. Sommer Swim gives no explaination, just silence.
Sommerswimm: + 150 euro’s - customer: -165. And no bikini. Sketchy.

So, take a chance and hope the bikini fits perfectly, otherwise: say bye to your money.

Quick delivery and the bikinis are so cool - special fits and amazing colours that you don’t see everywhere! I think the fit is rather small, so I would size up a bit. Customer support was super helpful and replied quickly. I am ready for the beach now!
