Where to begin? Guess I will add it to the every growing pile of bad reviews their site gets, not that it will change or improve anything.
I have tried logging into my account on 3 different browsers (Edge, Chrome, FireFox - incognito and otherwise) and everytime it just keeps saying "loading" - meanwhile I get an automated email on my account saying "account access successful".
It is beyond pathetic that a simple login auth/call back is not working.. I will know, been in the software industry for nearly a decade.
Since there is literally no other alternative, will have to keep trying again and again with this pathetic website.
Daylight Robbery
The service is poor.. Paid for enhance service appointment which includes uploading of document and document checking. On arrival I was met by not so friendly security personnel, who directed me to a clerical officer whose duty was to check and upload the document, which he didn't do, I was surprised , I had to question him to find out the process was right but he insisted he didn't have to do all that. The process took less than 10mins.. I will appeal to the Home Office to investigate this company
Unjustified price for very basic services
First of all, I paid 275 for me and my daughter. The fact that they offer a free service, in my opinion, is a lie.
Secondly, the charged price for what you get is inflated.
Went today, present at the door exactly on time. Had to ring doorbell 5 times for reception to let me in.
Had to wait 15 minutes.
The staff were nice but what the service offers is useless. It's an overpriced service for 2 photos and some fingerprint scanning. They cannot give any advice on submitting your documents and state they're 3rd party and also have very limited knowledge of what the requirements for the best application are or what the Home Office specific document look like.
I don't recommend them and I find it discriminating for foreigners to not have any choice when booking for children. I am really surprised that a 1 star review company still gets to sign with HO somehow.

Hi, I need to book my appt for biometrics. I have been facing this error since yesterday while I am 'Reserving Appointment' for any date, any service centre, paid or free.

I had a bad feeling about this company…
I had a bad feeling about this company when I had to phone then to re-arrange an appointment because I could not access the website to upload documents as "We are currently experiencing issues, please try again". This scenario went on for a week after scheduled 'maintenance'. Sarah seemed out of her depth to answer my questions and was giving incorrect advice and soon I was 'breaking-up' and then was cut off. Carl then came to the line as I knew there was no fault on the line and waited paitiently. It took me an hour to reschedule my appointment and Carl refused to answer any questions as they don't give advice - despite being a help line. The promised email to reset my login details didn't materialise so I battled on with an intervention from my MP. I managed to access my account after that but it was of little use as the people at Sopra where too lazy to check my uploaded files and simply sent an email asking me to upload them again in the same category. It does seem a shambles, but what do you expect from a private company using minimum wage school leavers. Luckily I already have a case marker with my MP and will need it for the next stage. . . I'll report back later
Evil company
Evil company. My wife had her biometrics recorded by them. Eight weeks later we got an email from the Home Office telling her to get her biometrics recorded. Rang the Home Office. Home Office told us to ring the Sopra Steria. Sopra Steria told us to ring the Home Office. etc etc. Attitude of the people answering the phone in both cases was absolutely appalling. The staff in the Sopra Steria office were young and seemed like they couldn't wait to knock off work and go partying. They treated their clients, mainly insecure poor people, like dirt.

This company is the Shi*est in the UK. We went to the Manchester city centre and it started with the assistant on the door, he is a f*ckin* cu*t. He was very rude to us and with everyone that was there.
The fingerprint readers don't work and I needed to go on 3 different to get my biometric done. It wasn't free, we paid £112 each, and were treated like animals.
UKVI please get another official partner
We used UKVCAS as the official partner of UK Visa and Immigration for an application. The information provided on their website is very confusing, stating free appointments are available, only to discover when you book that, depending on where you live, you must be able to travel hundreds of miles for the free ones. Otherwise you have to pay at least £71.50. For that much, you are not even able to use a bathroom at the appointment. The individual who helped us did not seem to know how to use the equipment for the biometrics measurements either, so the appointment lasted more than half an hour.
A very striking contrast with the service run directly from HM Passport Offices, which worked wonderfully.

What a scam, shame on the UK government letting a company like that have a monopoly over appointments.
Zero free appointments available for the next month, they obviously have no incentive to have free appointments.

The first difficulties started from the moment I wanted to book a slot .There were none slots for 3 months ahead .Some friends recommend me to check in the late evening and that’s why I did . Surprisingly there were no free slots ,they just robbing your money ...

I came on time ,man at the door was lovely but when he escorted me to the clerk my horrible experience started.
First of all she asked me to give her my password and appointment confirmation and I did .When she was scanning QR code my bank card was pop up every time on a screen .Then she asked me to take off my mask,put my hair away from my face and took my earring off.Then she took some photos and asked me to put my fingers together for a scan.After I did she replied in extremely bad manner that I did it incorrectly and because of me she need to do everything all over again.I took my mask and my earrings again,finger prints and my signature 2 times again .Then she started to check my documents and she mentioned that I have applied my proof of address from 2018 and asked if I want to proceed with old proof of address. Then I’ve asked her if it okay or I need to add new one?
She replied “I dont know, I’m not your key worker ,I’m not from the Home office “ .I started to worried and asked her if it may affect my results she replied exactly the same .
Then she handled me a paper and leave me no choice but to sign a document which states that I did not provide all the evidence. I asked her why I need to sign it when I provided all the documents then she started to talk to me in a not appropriate way .I said I’m not gonna sign it as it says on a document if I sign it it may affect the decision .She said if I don’t want to sign it I have time to upload documents until 10 pm .I said okay I would rather do this then .She rudely said that I keep changing my mind and I need to make decisions right now.
Employee was not even able to provide or explain all the information from the brochure. People like her should not be working in customer service .

This is worst company I have ever dealt with. It is daylight robbery. I am trying to make an appointment but there no appointments what so ever on their website. when I try to call them I am placed on hold for an hour and I still haven't received any help. It is the worst thing I have ever experienced and I am disgusted that the UK government is allowing this to happen.

The UK Home Office should be taken to court for making us deal with this organisation who are ripping us off, there is no free appointment, every appointment is charged and for every little extra thing, they offer it comes with an extortionate price (scan is £51).
If this was all done by UKBA itself at least their profit goes back to the public, now this company is French, not British.
The immigrants are not heard in this country, firstly the govt skins us by charging thousands for the main application then hundreds by these guys.

Back in 2018 I had my daughter's biometric appointment in Brighton when UKBA moved their service over to Sopra Steria. I had to wait whole day with my six month old daughter to get the biometric done. They kept saying that there are some technical issues but what I could see the staff didnt have any clue how to use the system. Quality of UKBA service gone down since they moved their services to this company. However their staff treated us very well and I am very happy with that. But today I had an appointment in Croydon and one of the staff was very rude. I felt like I reached in a military camp.

Complete government-sanctioned scam. You are supposed to be able to get a free appointment, they don't provide any. They release new appointments at midnight (ridiculous) and after waiting up to get one on the dot of midnight there are no free appointments. This company is being paid by the government to provide this service and they are then ripping people off on top of this!!! SHOCKING
