Awful customer support.

I have purchased a shirt from Soulana which has been quite good. It has worn very well and got better the more it is worn. So far so good.
They have a different style which they have informed me of which I like. This is where the problem is. The shirt doesn’t appear on their website. The company doesn’t seem to be able to tell me why but continue to advertise the article. So they advertise a shirt that doesn’t exist.

Scam-like Experience

Scam-like Experience – Cheap Quality, Overpriced, and Dishonest Returns Policy

I wish I had read more reviews before ordering from Soulona.com. I purchased a pair of sunglasses that looked decent in the pictures, but the whole experience has been nothing short of awful.
• Ridiculously Slow Shipping: It took them nearly a full month just to deliver my order. Completely unacceptable in today’s world where most sites deliver in a week or less.
• Terrible Quality & Misleading Pictures: When the sunglasses finally arrived, they looked nothing like the photos. The frame was made of cheap, flimsy plastic that felt like it would snap any second.
• Overpriced Rip-Off: After receiving the product, I discovered that identical sunglasses are being sold on other sites like Timo for literally 10% of what Soulona charges. That’s a 90% markup for garbage quality.
• Shady Return Policy: When I tried to return the item, they gave me an address in Canada. Shipping it back internationally would cost me MORE than the price of the sunglasses. Nowhere on their site do they disclose that returns go to Canada. When I questioned them about it, they sent me a long excuse-filled email claiming that for “privacy reasons” they don’t reveal the return address until after purchase. This is deceptive and designed to discourage returns.

Bottom line: This site is misleading, overpriced, and provides terrible products with a shady return policy. Save your money and avoid Soulona.com at all costs.

A very good result of internationalization!

I don´t know if the design is really Japanese - and I don't care if the piece is from a Canadian company and made in China. That is the benefits of globalization and the result is amazing. The trousers are soft, comfortable and with a casual chic look.
Besides, the charcoal color goes with everything!

Writing this review to warn others.
DELIVERY took eternity: ordered July 21 arrived Aug 19, 2025. That's not the worst part. When I finally received my package, I was shocked to find that the Mito trouser was not only the WRONG SIZE, the material, the stitching and the overall was so CHEAP. Shein or Temu could have done better.

Contacted their costumer service several times, but it's no use. I just threw it in the trash, that's where it belongs.

Save your money and shop elsewhere.

This is what is called a 'Ghost Store'…

This is what is called a 'Ghost Store' the back story and virtually everything about it is fake. You will receive nothing like the high-quality items promised, if anything, you will get trash from Temu. BEWARE! Or if you don't believe me, try searching for the real bricks and mortar store in Canada, doesn't exist.

False advertising for sizing

I ordered 2 Katanah shirts both of which were substantially smaller than the advertised size on their website. I usually order XL shirts but contacted Soulona and was advised to order a size larger which I. I measured the shirt and it was an slightly smaller than their advertised XL size even though the shirts were marked XXL. I contacted their customer service and requested a return mailing label. I was told that their return policy did not permit this. I emailed them 2 more times to say that the item was not as advertised and got nearly identical replies with no acknowledgment of their error. I subsequently contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge.

TOO SMALL!

I bought a shirt that was supposed to be XXL, but was way too small. It costs me $20 to post the items back to Soulana, which they won't reimburse, but I sent the first one back.
I then bought another, which was supposed to be XXXL. When it arrived, it was labelled 4XL, but it was even smaller - a chest measurement of 118cm - although the website size guide shows XXXL as 132cm.
Since I have not received any money back for the fIrst shirt, I am reluctant to spend another $20 to return this one, so I'm at a considerable loss in my dealings with Soulana.
If you're not a very small person, stay away from this brand!

My experience with Soulona can only be…

My experience with Soulona can only be described as excellent on every level. There is always apprehension when ordering products from unfamiliar companies. Is the product going to come, when will it come, what if it is not what was expected or there is an issue when it arrives. From when I placed my order I was continually updated on the status of my order. Unfortunately when it arrived it did not fit and I requested authorization to return the items and get a credit. Again, no issue at all, I received authorization and instructions on how to facilitate the return and provided documentation for the company to track the package. Credit to my PayPal account would be issued when the return, which would take a few weeks due to shipping, no problem. Well as it turns out when I reached out for an update on tracking my package, apparently USPS screwed up and was delivering the package back to me and not to Soulona. Well, their customer service and support only got BETTER!!!!! I was notified that even though my return was not going to be returned due to no fault of mine, they were immediately issuing the credit which they did, and suggested that I gift or donate the items when I received the package back from USPS. The bottom line here is you can confidently shop with Soulona, I will certainly be doing so in the future.

Still waiting

Well it’s been almost 4 weeks and no pants. Heard nothing from them about delivery date. When we finally texted them they gave us shipper contact and tracking number. Contacted shipper and they said they had no such tracking number. Neither had any way to contact them directly. So….

Although there was some difficulty…

Although there was some difficulty regarding delivery, that was ironed out, and the subsequent delivery most satisfactory, the delivery person being most careful as to package placement and clear photographing. As to the product, I was quite pleased. The pants and shirt material is substantial and the sewing well done. The garments washed well. The sizing (L) was accurate for my body (160 lbs). Ann, who seems to be the support person, was honest in her replies and effective in her follow up. As a consequence of the overall experience, I have placed a second order for pants and shirt.

Beware of this company

Beware of this company. Their return policy is , you have to pay international shipping to return the products to Canada. In my case the size did not fit, I was careful to check the length, 100 cm, but no this is not 100 cm what I got. And it took 4 weeks before the order showed up.
Quality: not that great. Stay away.

After waiting a week for them to ship my product I emailed them. They assured me that my glasses would be shipped soon. I ordered sneakers. I asked for a refund. They finally gave me a refund but didn’t refund my shipping fee when they didn’t even ship the item.

Katana Shirts are amazing.

I have placed 3-orders with Soulona over a period of 3-months for there Katana shirts. I have been more than pleased with all my orders and impressed with the polite help I have received from all members of staff especially Rosie. I would not hesitate in dealing with them again.

The clothing I bought was misrepresented via Soulona’s website. Their return policy is terrible. They offered to return 15% of my purchase or I pay international shipping to return.

Men's Katana Japan shirt

Ordered Men's Katana Japan style shirt. Sizing true to size - usually fit a medium and that fits. Nice styling but the fabric does not feel 'Premium linen and cotton' as described. More like a rougher cheaper cotton. Took 3-4 weeks to arrive (BC). Based on other reviews, will take care washing it as I'm uncertain about color fastness and shrinkage.

BEWARE of returns!

BEWARE! If you need to return the product, you will need to send it back to Canada. This is tantamount to having no returns policy. This is very well hidden and you will need to search deep in their T&Cs to find any mention of it. Customer service has no sympathy. They should not be trading in countries without a practical returns policy, particularly when it comes to clothing. Otherwise the product is OK. You have been warned.
