My first and last order
I dont know where to start. As delivery date for my order was given as 5th August, i gave my office address. Wings courier called me on 4th August and i asked him to rearrange delivery next day as it was weekend and i was not in the office. The next day i recieved call after 7 pm. I tried to reach the Wings customer service and failed several times. I filed a complaint and i recieved an e mail saying courier will reach you shortly. I didnt get any call from the courier for two days. After trying more than 1 hour i managed to reach the Wings customer service and arranged delivery for the day after. No one called. I have just recieved another e mail from customer service that my order was returned back to Souq due to failed delivery attempts. They even didn’t attempt to deliver my order. No one called me. No one came to the address. Infact no need for a call, if the courier came to my office, receptionists would reach me or take my package. The most frustrating parts of my experience are that 1.my order is cancelled without my confirmation 2.this was done by relying on false information provided by Wings.
Prices increase in the blink of an eye!
We all know that UAE is expensive. When I first moved here I decided to buy my makeup and other repeat purchases on souq.com. Over the past ten months I've seen the prices of these items increase by as much as over 120%. They are convenient but I don't think anything justifies such rapid price hikes!

Too greedy
Too greedy, I wanted electric guitar strings, and they have exactly what I wanted. The problem is what they are offering for it. I went to amazon and ordered 6 packs with fast shipping and I paid less.
Warranty Scam
Why buy from souq.com when you have noon.com with amazing customer service.
I bought a laptop under one year warranty, after some time the laptop cooling fan stopped working so I returned it for repair, first of all it took around 4 weeks to pick it up from me, they always send me a message saying someone is coming but no one shows up.
After they received the laptop they returned it without repair because there was about 2mm scratch in the laptop and the reason was the laptop is damaged and not covered by warranty.
I even suspect that they did that scratch on purpose by themselves cause I didn't see it before sending the laptop to them
Worst website ever
Worst website ever. Placed an order on July 20th and kept getting 2 SMS saying its on its way for delivery continuously for 4 days, they called me on Wednesday to make sure of my location only to deliver it next day to the wrong location, again they called on Friday to make sure of my location saying it'll be delivered the next day, however it didnt, even though I called the same say to make sure it'll actually arrive, next day I call they tell me the order was cancelled even though I did not cancel it, just HORRIBLE never gonna order from them again
Good shopping experience in Dubai
Have ordered many things from Souq, and almost all of them have been delivered in the promised condition.
There was a dispute with one of the items, but the support team was quick to resolve the issue.
Pathetic customer service from a company like Souq
Ordered a 55 inch TV on 11th June 2018, got a defective piece which was returned on 24th June 2018 and till date have been following up almost on a daily basis , to be told by each and every single customer service representative that the issue will be resolved within 24 hours......absolutely unacceptable customer service from a company like Souq who now are a part of Amazon.......not sure if Amazon is aware of these standards ......very very poor services

Easy to use, usually quick to deliver. Refunds and exchanges are made easily and fairly quickly. Shipping costs are mostly fair. They did ship me a wrong item once, but the refund was quick and easy.

Headphones ordered turned out to be fake and fell to pieces within one day and never being used. While the refund policy says returns are possible for fake goods when I processed it it appears with a no returns notice.
Wouldn't trust the sellers and don't trust souq do enough to protect its customers from sellers with fake goods.
Bad Customer Service

We ordered the item and cancelled the item very next day. However, Aramex courier delivered the item within few days. Since then for last 3 weeks we are after Aramex and souq.com to come and collect the item. But nobody came till now. Aramex is waiting to know who would bear the cost for courier for returning the item. Even though we ordered the item from souq.com, the item came from Amazon USA store. So, the item has to be sent to USA, and neither Amazon USA nor souq.com is informing Aramex to generate an AWB number for the return. We are in a fix.
So, please dont buy any items in souq.com, if you see the item is coming from Amazon USA store.
Easy and convenient
I like the ease of shopping on Souq. Honestly, way more efficient/convenient than going to the mall. The checkout is simple and the series of emails they send to acknowledge and to give shipping are given within 24 hours. No hesitation in using again.
Cancelled my order without any notice and increased my item prices
Cancelled my order without notification. Transferred my payment to Souq.com credit. When I went to re-order the price had increased by 20% for the same items. Unethical business practices. I am amazed that Amazon are affiliated with this terrible company. If you try to call their customer service number you are greeted with 'your call cannot be connected at this time, please try again later'. Do not trust.

I would have given it 5 starts for the fast delivery and easy exchange/return service, but I have to take out 2 stars for all the "Your Opinion matters!" emails they keep sending, and the worst part is that when I want to write a review it never gets published because I mention both the pros and cons of the item, as a customer I have to be honest but I don't think honest feedback really matters in souq.com; sometimes the picture doesn't match the product or the description is wrong, or the dimentions are missing or not specified ( inch or cm), if they allow reviews to mention this stuff to the seller (or their superstore) it would save the customers and souq team a lot of time and effort returning items because they are not what the customer needs, as one customer I had to return the same item 5 times because each seller would either send me a complete different color than the one in the picture or description, the courier had to pick up my item 5 times, so if they allowed people to write a good review it would help us avoid all that headache.
I really wish souq.com could be more strict with sellers as well as their superstore about what they are listing and how is it described, and I can understand it is impossible for them to track all that, and that is when honest customer feedback is actually needed.
I really hope they will deal with that issue soon because I enjoy shopping at souq.com but I believe good customer service is key for a good shopping experience which keeps customers satisfied, and I think a customer who cares enough should always express their honest opinion.

I informed Souq that i will be out of the country and wanted to reschedule an appointment for the delivery. They haven't taken into account the delivery time and day change and kept calling me when i was out of the country.
Yesterday i called for a delivery on the 14th. Today they said that the parcel cannot be shipped after wasting my morning waiting for them.
Souq and Qexpress are just a joke and i am not planning to buy anything on this website anymore.
