They lowered my GPA that is clearly stated on my transcript from 3.2 to a 2.8 (my degree is an MBA from a Public Accredited University in Canada). They gave no reason at all - in their document it says they evaluate it "in house"....?
I also paid extra to have it done in 2 business days - it wasn't. Further, they rejected the official transcripts from Mycred (how most university in Canada send official transcripts in 2023 (since mailing isn't even an option for most)... YET they accepted a pdf of the document. There has to be a more efficient way.

My experience with spantran has been very bad.
My degree is French and the credit hours are much more than in the USA. I do not recommend it to evaluate European diplomas, it is a waste of time and money with this company.

Charged us twice, made us prove to them they charged us twice?? Just look at the account man. Sent in all the proof, haven't hear back, extra $200 still taken out of my account. What kind of company makes the customer show them that they were charged twice??

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Span Tran Evaluation Company, and I am compelled to share my ordeal to warn others about their unprofessional and unethical practices. In short, they not only mishandled my evaluation but also displayed a complete lack of concern for their clients.

Initially, I approached SpanTran for an evaluation service to support my university admission application. Through email communication, I specifically requested a course-by-course evaluation, which was crucial for my application. However, instead of informing me about a "glitch" in their system that may have led to a wrong selection, they remained silent and proceeded with a general analysis evaluation without my consent.

Their inefficiency didn't end there. Despite their claim of completing evaluations within 10 days, my report was significantly delayed, causing further stress and uncertainty during my college application process. I reached out to them repeatedly, explaining the urgency of the situation, as my admission deadline was approaching rapidly. But their responses were sluggish, unempathetic, and lacked any acknowledgment of their mistakes.

To my dismay, when I finally received the evaluation report, it was not the course-by-course analysis I had originally requested. Instead, it was the same erroneous general analysis that offered no value to my college application. The fact that they overlooked my emails and deliberately chose not to address my concerns is deeply disappointing and unprofessional.

Adding insult to injury, they had the audacity to demand additional fees to correct their mistake. They conveniently suggested that I pay again for a course-by-course evaluation, even though it was their error that caused the entire predicament in the first place. This blatant money-grabbing approach only further showcased their lack of integrity and dedication to customer satisfaction.

I found myself sending them emails on a daily basis, trying to emphasize the urgency and importance of the course-by-course evaluation for my college admission. However, their dismissive attitude and disregard for my situation indicate a lack of commitment to their clients' needs.

In conclusion, I must warn others to think twice before using SpanTran Evaluation Company's services. Their incompetence, unprofessional behavior, and insensitivity to their clients' needs are highly concerning. They not only mishandled my evaluation process but also showed a complete lack of accountability for their actions. I sincerely hope that others can learn from my experience and avoid the distressing ordeal that I had to endure with this company.

The guys are not serious, waste a lot of people time unnecessarily ,alot ofexcuses and frustration

SpanTran Evaluation Company deserves high praise for their exceptional service and unwavering commitment to customer care. The user-friendly online application process made the initial application so easy. Their responsiveness and cooperative approach were truly amazing. Despite the immense communication challenges posed by the conflict in the Tigray region in Ethiopia, they managed to obtain my original documents from a university there, surpassing all expectations. I was impressed by their efficiency in delivering the evaluation result within the specified timeframe. Compared to my prior encounters with two different evaluation companies, I'm incredibly grateful to have discovered Spanran. Their streamlined support has significantly simplified my educational pursuits abroad.

Warning to potential customers: AVOID SPANTRAN! Find any other transcript analysis and translation business. SpanTran continually requests additional money at every time. Lots of hidden costs! Never trust the upfront costs. Also, their communication is AWFUL. Impossible to get a representative on the phone and emails are often ignored. AVOID SpanTran AT ALL COSTS!!!

Excellent communication. I got fast and on time results. They are in constant communication and informed about the process. I recommend it to my friends.

Not appropriate for UK Students. SpanTran assessed UK GCE / A-Level grades as equivalent to US high school grades, i.e. a US high school A = an A-Level A, B = B, etc., whereas most other sites/services recognise that UK GCE is roughly equivalent to either US Advanced Placement courses or US first year university courses, and that UK grading is tougher than US high school grades. The GPA equivalent they provided was very low not representative of the UK situation.

Use Spantran!!!

Spantran evaluated all my transcripts of school work extremely quickly and they make the process simple. I would 100 % Recommend Spantran as they are a certified NACES company and work closely with a lot of colleges. Spantran are also a lot cheaper than a lot of other evaluation company’s out there.

I have the worst experience with this company. They are the most unprofessional service provider ever. I have used WES previously they were really professional and helpful but SpanTran is not even try to do their jobs. I applied for the evaluation service and choose Direct Documents options which requires the University the send the official documents to SpanTran and it did but they are saying that is was copy and told me to again verify my credentials, I was at shock and tried to convince them that the documents were send by my institution but they just insist on the verification of my credentials worst part is that i told them that the deadline of the University that i am applying is going to end and they did no concern on that. It was the worst experience of my life. Please avoid this service at all cost.

Communication was very good, it took some time for my transcripts to get to them and during the whole process, they kept reaching out or responded within 24 hours if I did. Then, once they authenticated my qualifications, I got my analysis before the expected time.

Timely responses to my emails, I am very satisfied with the quality of work and I advise everyone.

The process was very smooth.

Communication was very poor. Getting responses from them took very long. They didn't keep me update about the progress and I had to get after everything myself. In addition, they made me pay so much more for stuff! First they needed to translate pages that I wasn't aware of at the start. Secondly, they asked me to pay 60!!! dollars for sending one simple email themselves to my University because I 'wasn't able to do it' while it was written in my Universities instructions that the email must've come from them. I provided all the necessary documents, emails and connections with my University. I did all the work and I still had to pay 60 dollars for that one and stupid email that was necessary from them.
No, I wasn't happy with their service at all! Relieved that it's done now. Don't recommend them.

If I could rate this company less than one star, I would. SpanTran should not even be a NACES member. Their service is worse than poor and they rarely, if ever, answer their phones in a timely fashion. I have waited over an hour to get a live person. They do not have even the basic understanding of international medical schools. They gave me the equivalency rating six years previously, then downgraded to a masters level this time. Same school, same degree, nothing changed. The only difference this time was the ignorant person doing the rating this time. Use any NACES member EXCEPT Spantran.

The most crucial piece of advise I can give is to avoid using this agency because it is a true lottery that they can accredit. Do not trust these people, and properly verify the equivalency of their credentials before sending them any money. Beware! They engage in deceitful marketing and deception! This week, I shall file a report about you with the relevant authorities.
