I am regular user of the cold plunge... normally keep it between 48-50 which is not always easy in FL, specially has the weathers warms up. I guess it;s related to the fact that I've temperature tends to drop as the filter gets dirtier. I had some issues both with the pump and also with the plunge itself but the Customer Service has been incredibly helpful and solved all the issues. So I am super happy with it. Thank you!

I absolutely love the chiller, i take ice baths every morning now with 42°. Feel much more awake and healthier.

I don't typically take the time to write reviews typically but this is a complete scam for so many reasons and people should know it.

- Their products are not as nearly as advertised, the chiller barely loads, is well far off to retain advertised temperatures and overall feels clunky and cheap. I have had other better units, so definitely a downgrade. You will also receive unbranded stock as it comes from China.

- They'll say you get time to try it with returns, but they'll never take your return and there's huge restocking and return shipping fees. They'll ask you to fix what's broken instead of them or offer partial refund and you keep their crap. Don't trust!

- Shipping delays are huge. The company advertises fast shipping but that doesn't happen - it took over a month to deliver (it's an overseas company too). I received my order 2 months after purchase.

- Their post-purchase customer service is atrocious. They were very responsive before they got your money, but after, it's a nightmare. It takes multiple tries to get an answer, it's super slow, and even then, they don't get the essence because they don't speak proper English. I don't remember the last time I had to repeat something so many times. You can't talk with them on the phone too, it's only SMS service they have set with American number to fake things.

Above all, they are advertising "#1 chiller 2024" and 5-star trustpilot and when you find their trustpilot profile here you truly understand what the experience is. Completely unacceptable from so many angles. I would have NEVER EVER bought if I knew it was like this.

As for the clarity of set up and customer service:
This is a tricky review to write. I had some issues. But in the end, these folks came through and did the right thing. It is an offshore company, there does seem to be a miscommunication of common business practices. If have any problem, and you exercise patience, and explain it clearly, they will do the right thing. Their customer service person is great. But it does take some time to get responses because of time zones.

Scam they never sent the product and charged me 1,600$ they will send some empty garbage packages to claim a tracking number and then ignore your messages and tell you they will look into it and never resolve it stay away please don’t get scammed like me and all the others here I should have read the reviews

Scam scam I should have read these as they all said same thing they take your money and they don’t ship anything for months and then they will ship a small package to justify a tracking number and then they will send you pictures of packages that never arrived and they will keep putting you off telling you their investigating buyer beware stay away from this company do not get scammed like I did and others have. I hope this can help people not get scammed.

This thing is terrible. Don't buy it. It's SO cheap. Nothing works or is even close to as advertised. The customer service said if I return it they will charge me a 30% restocking fee. The hoses are garbage the quality is flimsy and it all leaks so I can't even use it. Do not buy!

I am not one to leave reviews but this one specifically got to me. Ordered an ice bath and chiller. First I received a 10% discount code for a new ice bath and chiller after they processed my card, I called to try and apply the discount they said they cannot apply discounts after the order has been processed which made no sense to send it to me but fine. Then they told me 7-14 days for shipment. 6 weeks later I received the bath and some other components. Still waiting for the chiller, I got a notification it’s been delivered. Which it clearly hasn’t. When I reached out they said they have no idea and will look into it…. Still waiting for a reply. $2900 and it never showed up and customer service doesn’t have an answer for me. Spend the extra and go with a more reliable company made in the USA

Given the popularity of cold plunges, it doesn't surprise me that there are some shipping delays. My 1/2 HP chiller has been working great with no issues so far.

I ordered an ice bath chiller combination December 2 of 2023. I did receive the chiller but I have not received the actual tub as of January 10, 2024 so I have yet to use the tub and see if it’s even a good product, beware that it takes forever For them to ship the shipping information on the website initially is very misleading saying 7 to 14 days after a 2 to 5 day dispatch. If you look at the vine print they talk about up to 60 days for you to get this chiller, which is a ridiculous amount of time in this day and age I would not buy this again. I should’ve looked a little more carefully .

I purchased the tub, 1 hp wifi chiller, and a bunch of accessories. The price point was exactly what I had budgeted. Everything delivered within the estimated times. The chiller did not have detailed instructions, it took me awhile to set everything up, by reading the manual and watching YouTube videos. I did run into a few initial issues: such as leakage and water not dropping down to the set temperature. However, the customer service that James provides is top notch: he responds via text in an acceptable timely manner and provides detailed solutions to any issues. He helped fixed all my issues and even sent me parts, above and beyond. I have yet to try the heating function, I plan to when it starts to get colder out. I have been using the ice bath every day and very happy with my purchase.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS! Their communication was EXCELLENT before i decided to purchase. After i purchased, i didnt recieve my products! Their junk comes from China, and their lame excuse that they ship directly from the manufacturer to comsumer is for environmental reasons. No, you ship from China to the consumer because it saves you the most money!

Anyways! After i didnt receive my items, i reached out to them 3-5 times! And guess what, they all of a sudden went quiet! I then posed as a customer with a different email inquiring about a ice bath i would like to buy, and what do you know! I got a response same day! These crooks took my money and now im in a credit dispute with them because they lost my product while it was shipping from China and are probably thinking of a way to blame it on me! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Also! Their website only promotes positive reviews! I have left a negative review and it wasnt shared on their website! Im pretty sure they only share the positive reviews!

Looked at a number of chillers that would work with my freestanding tub...Spartan's 1 HP chiller ticked all the boxes

Arrived ahead of schedule from UPS, double-boxed, in perfect condition...packaging was exceptional

Had at least 5 emails/texts with customer service, all responses were prompt, literally within the hour, sometimes faster

Great price for an all-in-one set-up, service experience has been ace thus far

I could not be happier with my spartan pro chiller. I went for about two months buying ice and realize quickly, way too expensive and too much labor. It is amazing to have the water at my desired temperature 24/7 Customer service answered every question I had for them. I have been recommending it to all my friends. This will absolutely change your life.

Seems like a scam to me. They promise to ship within 2-5 business days. On the 5th business day, I emailed them and asked for a status. A “James” (who, based on a previous post may be the only one working for this company) stated that he would investigate and get back to me. I emailed him the following day and he said he was waiting for a status from the team. It shouldn’t be that difficult to figure out what the status of an order is. I replied asking for a tracking number or a cancellation of my order and I didn’t receive reply. Today, I asked for a refund of my purchase and haven’t received a reply. I’m now disputing the charge with my credit card company. Buyer beware when dealing with this website.

This company is a SCAM. You order an ice bath. They ship a small cheap item from China to create a tracking number. But they will purposefully ship the item to an incorrect address. The courier will send the item back. Spartan will claim the address was your error and will not provide a refund or ever ship you what you ordered. Full on SCAM.

Where to begin: well, they claim to be located in Bulgaria but drop ship directly from China. This would not be a big deal IF they had any means of directly contacting their support team.

I ordered an ice bath and a water chiller. The water chiller alone costs $1,000. I waited 3 full business days after being charged the full purchase price to check on the status of the order. One of their service representatives (all of them are named James coincidentally) told me the water chiller was never ordered and then proceeded to disappear from the chat. I went ahead and emailed them since the representative never returned. As opposed to addressing and allaying my concerns, Spartan reprimanded me for opening multiple support tickets before they could respond. They never issued an apology for their snafu.

It has now been another 3 weeks since the original order was placed and they apparently neglected to ship half the order attributing their negligence to "a flight was delayed". I was told today to wait another 2 weeks for the item to be delivered which would make it about 1.5 months to receive the item after I was already charged in full.

By the way, they have told me that if I am afraid they are not a legitimate company, then I should check the reviews on their website. Here is the problem: the "reviews" on their website consist of three testimonials, two of which have the same name.

Do what you want with your money. All I know is I wish I would have had a review like this before I spent my money. Don't do what I did. Go buy from a legitimate company and be glad you did.

UPDATE:
The items did arrive and earlier than the readjusted date - they were still tardy. Despite everything with the delivery, things worked (mostly) as expected. I have had a couple of issues with the water chiller but I have to tell you, the customer service at Spartan has been phenomenal. James (and I still think all of their employees are named James) has gone above and beyond to make things right. They have issued partial refunds, replaced missing items and even included other pieces to try and make things whole. I might not be a total believer in their suite of products, but I do really, really respect and admire outstanding customer service. I know it sounds crazy, but I would do business with them again based purely on their dedication to rectifying mistakes. That is a rare attribute and goes a long way.
