I think their policy of "Final Sale" is a deterrent to returning customers. The site does make it clear that the item you are buying is not returnnable.

As a Sperry boat shoe customer for 59 years I am very disappointed at the poor quality of the last two pairs purchased especially in relation to the shoe laces breaking.
I then purchased a replacement pair of laces with a needle which is very difficult to thread into the eyes of the shoe with the ridiculous needle which barely fits through the eyes.
00000000 if I could
00000000 if I could
I worn Sperrys for over 50 years. I bought a pair for online and the shoelaces broke. they sent me the wrong type of shoelaces to repair them. No refund for shoes. Not worth my time. Their customer service sucks. I’m gonna go back to LL Beans

Ordered shoes online and when they arrived the leather was scuffed and discolored. The closest sperry store is over 200 miles from me so I had to pay to return them despite them being damaged. Tried to call to see if I could return them to a closer Aldo store and was told I couldn’t “cheat the system” and would have to pay the “restocking fee” regardless of if they were damaged.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years & never had to use the warranty option. This experience has been horrible. I’ve been ghosted by email & when I tried to call, there was still a voice message from December saying due to the holidays there are long wait times.
Took product back and kept my $$
I received a loafer that was ill fitting and was approved to return them. I took the package to the post office with the label they provided and sent them off.
Sperry claims they will deduct $6.95 + tax for the return shipping. I am fine with this deduction. It has been a while now and I've never been refunded. I hunted around for the tracking number and found that "unpaid postage-package will not be delivered". So, they are keeping my money and not paying the postage due for the return as promised. They are scam artists.
Shady business practices
I ordered a pair of shoes on promotion. Due to a mistake by Sperry they were going to be 90% off instead of 20% off. They had two options, let me have the crazy deal or come clean and ask me for the balance that I should have been charged. Instead they claimed the shoes were out of stock and cancelled my order. No admission of guilt. Two days later the shoes were back in stock. I sent an email - they sent apologies but never acknowledged that what they did was unbelievably shady. I will never buy a Sperry product ever again. They think it’s okay to lie to their customers so they won’t lose any money. Horrible.

I purchased a pair of boat shoes for my husband's birthday. They weren't the correct size. Sperry offers easy returns on their shoes.
Sneaker fell apart
Men's canvas 4 eyelet lace up STS25620 sole separated from upper. Only wore them for half a summer, barely broken in.
Torrent Rubber Lace Up Boot by Sperry
I bought the Torrent Rubber Lace Up Boot by Sperry. Their website purports that their boot is..,"Waterproof designed with water-tight construction, this style is engineered to keep you dry." This boot definitely isn't waterproof. I deliver mail and within the first hour the insides of my boots were soaking wet. Also, the top part of the boot that sits against your shin digs into your skin and causes painful sores and bruises. I absolutely do not recommend this product!
Gold Cup Sperry's are peak comfort
Griped a fair amount in a previous review but thought it only fair to remark on Sperry's products this time instead of the previous transaction that resolved itself without too much intervention. I love Sperry boat shoes. They're amazing. Specifically the Gold Cup line. What Sperry is bringing us from Indonesia is top notch. Finally managed to get a hold of their USA made pair as well. MUCH MORE DIFFICULT TO BREAK IN. Also starting to think Vibram outsoles aren't what they're made out to be because the standard Sperry outsole is so much gentler on the feet. The newest Vibram Wedge outsole Gold Cup shoe they have is extremely lacking on the comfort side with a very minimal insole because of what is most likely the extra cost associated with using a Vibram outsole. Which is regrettably not comfortable enough on its own to make up for it. Which is a shame because the Dark brown leather version of that shoe is beautiful. If it came with an Ortholite insole like the Gold Cups that have with the perforated lining and Burnished leather treatment - it would probably be the most comfortable shoe Sperry produces. For now however, the Burnished treated Gold Cups with the Ortholite inserts are the most comfortable pair of boat shoes you can procure for straight out the box comfort. American shoe makers could learn from what they're doing in Indonesia. Legitimately impressed. Extremely supple leathers and super smooth too. Fairly consistent craftmanship as well. Have procured 5 pairs of Sperry's in the past year and literally just bought two more pairs. Also, their return process goes smoothly. If you're not pleased for any reason - they accept the return no questions asked. Just re-ordered the same pair I returned because of a blemish issue, but comfortable and nice enough to get an exchange pair without question. Almost considered keeping them, but the simple exchange process made it less of a concern. Seriously, if you're having doubts about procuring a new pair of Sperry's (stick to the Gold Cups mind you - but Roseanvil on YouTube covered their lower end model and gave it a fairly good review too to my surprise) just go for it. I recall wearing Sperry's as a kid, they used to be made uncomfortably in the early to mid nineties. Literally decided to try this again on a whim because I was looking for new leather kicks. Had pretty much forgotten about the brand entirely. They seemingly stepped up their comfort game since they've been acquired by Aldo group, their Gold Cup line is literally peak comfort and materials for fair pricing. There are sales on their site all the time. Just be patient if your package ends up at the wrong location. The customer service at Sperry can make it better most likely - and that's the delivery guys fault. You can also still talk to an actual human on the phone with them too, unlike serval brands these days. Their trust pilot rating seems terrible - but the shoe quality is beyond there. Sperry got me into good quality leather shoes that can be resoled. Drove me to try Thursday and Rancourt. Sperry is on par in my opinion. Easily. Gold Cup Line mind you. Can't stress that enough. Just the right leather thickness, inside and out, coupled with decent materials and production processes.

I don’t even want to rate sperry even a 1 they need a 0 everything down to the customer service from the agents you have to speak with. The way their website is just not it the not being able to modify or edit is just as worst. This is what I get I had two pairs of sperry and the material was not it either.
Sperry Spurious Shoe Quality and…
Sperry Spurious Shoe Quality and SupportSperry's poor shoe quality and poor customer service policy has lead me to write this review.
The glue joining the soul to canvas has failed within less than 1 month. I was told to take them back to the store bought from, this just isn't practical for me. It was my problem to deal with with no offer to replace or refund. Keep away from this brand because their refund policy does not support customers. Stick with brands that are made properly and a company that supports you. Sperry is not for me!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM SPERRY.COM
AWFUL SITE + BRAND SERVICE. DO NOT BUY FROM SPERRY.COM.
During a sale I was able to place an order for a shoe. They charged me and then cancelled THREE DAYS LATER when conveniently the sale was over. I asked to have the sale honored for another sale style that was MORE expensive and the customer service representative Marcela Guadalupe just spewed boilerplate at me. When I tried to end the conversation, she continued to blame me, which of course was only more enraging after wasting over 20min as she said she was "happy to help" upon hearing the original issue. Used to be a favorite brand, now just trash.
What f#cking rubbish
What rubbish! I have worn Sperry (made in the USA) shoes since I was a kid in the 1970s. I ordered four pairs of shoes over the Christmas break using their measuring guide. The quality is pathetic. My feet measure 27.5 cm (size 10.5). To be safe, I ordered size 11. They arrived today and don't fit my feet—not even close. They are clearly made in China for small Chinese feet.
NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE SPERRY SHOES ONLINE. WHAT COMPLETE RUBBISH. REFERRAL BUSINESS IS THE BEST BUSINESS YOU CAN DO. I WOULD NOT REFER THEM TO ANYONE.
Terrible quality.
Sperry used to be good like 10 years ago. They are pretty horrible now. Soles came apart on a brand new shoe that I have worn 3 times in 1 month and even the insole tore into 2. I'm 6 foot 180lbs. Normal weight and height. Never buying again.

I tried to simply order a pair of sandals. They transferred my valid debit card to PayPal under the name “ Washington” , then sent through a transaction for additional monies. Sent me an email to that effect. Forced me to cancel my rarely used PayPal Account. This is a con/scam Company. Sperry can not be trusted with credit/debit card information. God, I hate crook merchants like Sperry. Never trust Sperry with financial data.

2 pair for a 4 year old.
I ordered 2 pair for a 4 year old, early in November. I just received the package today. I had ordered size 12, bowfin jr., and ankle boots, size 12 again. Yes, I received 2 pair, just alike, rubber ankle boots, called Torrent. Both for women, a size adult 10, and adult 6.5. Makes me sick as he WAS going to wear a pair at Thanksgiving services.
I have been on hold with customer service, after immediately calling, for 25 minutes, still holding….
It will NOT happen to me again
Service is horrible
Service is horrible. Made an order I never got an email on when my order would arrive it’s been almost a month. When I called I found out my order was never processed. I agree to still process my order now they don’t have the size and color I ordered. Shitty service will not order from there again. 👎
Order online
Order online, take a week still not shipped yet, contact CS, still don’t know when will be able to ship out, no more sperry, thank you
