I'm very disappointed with the ARO woodwinds bundle. I own and am satisfied with ARO Low Percussion, High Percussion, Metals, and the Strings series. Each of those has exceeded my expectations for variety of instruments and depth of playing styles. I was anticipating the same for the woodwinds, but to discover that you only include a2 versions of the only the most basic instruments is dismaying. Any orchestral library (especially a top-dollar one like the ARO series) should include multiple playing styles of all POSSIBLE solo instruments as well as pairs of them playing together. To only include the pairs (the least used way of writing for woodwinds) and not solo instruments is unexplainable. And, to only include the basic instruments (No Eb Clarinet? Not even Contrabasoon?) is baffling. I can only assume that you plan to release Volume 2: The Useful Stuff, and Volume 3: The Rest of the Useful Stuff. I think I'll save my money and skip those releases. I've been a strong supporter of Spitfire libraries since they first came out, but I feel like I got burned on this one. I'll think twice before buying another library from Spitfire.
