Great plugin that is super easy to use. Massive sound! While not the reason I purchased, the various drum kits have been my favorite to mess around with.

I was surprised in a good way! The instruments included sound great, I especially like the long soft and scattered soft articulations that come with the guitars. Additionally, the main synth, Dave, sounds awesome and easily fits in the mix. So far I've used it to get big sounds in orchestral compositions but I also find it useful for adding bass to ambient styles of music.
Spitfire libraries are specialized, interesting, and diverse in tonal qualities. They are an investment, but if you're serious they are a WORTHY investment. I use their sounds for everything BUT soundtracks, which adds a certain uniqueness to my work. (It may not resonate with anyone but it resonates with me and that's all I need to bank on...)

Sounds great. The "aperture" effect is great but feels inconsistently implemented between patches. Sound quality is fantastic and AIR studios sounds great as usual. I'm not a fan of the UI (I think it's inefficient in use of space) and there aren't a ton of patches or diversity between the patches. In terms of realism, I really like the synths, but the guitars fall flat for me. I don't think you can get a convincing performance out of the guitars outside of some simple sustains.
I still need to dig into the product but straight out of the box it sounds great. It would have been great if the eDNA engine had been used to give more control and “tweakability”

Its a fab idea and sounds totally amazing. Very efficiently delivered and serviced. The web site is also packed with really cool stuff and I am looking at loads of free instruments and very sensibly priced niche instruments. Defineately a market leader in this area. I didnt realise Spitfire were so diverse.
