Booked through Split My Fare a couple of times but had an enquiry on this occasion so used the link on their website and had a very quick response from a agent called Richie who explained everything very clearly and was very helpful.
Thank you. I would booked through this site again.

Not only are their prices very good, but they rapidly sorted out a problem for me when I realised I had stupidly booked a train for an hour later than I intended, with only a small administrative charge. This included replies within a couple of hours even in the evening. After years of dealing with other train companies which are very happy to grab the most they can this was a great change.

I’d booked tickets online but hadn’t received the confirmation emails with my e-tickets on. I emailed the support team, and within 5 minutes Richie had got back to me and sent me all my confirmations. Really impressed by how quick, helpful and friendly their support is.

I couldn't make my journey as my mother ended up on end of life care at the hospital.
I wrote to Split My Fare and told them the situation.
They said I needed a letter from a medical professional, but the problem was I could only do that through my mother..... Who was dying !
They kept telling me it was in the terms and conditions made by the rail companies. I wrote to the rail companies and they just sent me back to Split my fare
Despicable and dishonest company, with no empathy, guilt or common sense.
My mum passed whilst I was going around in circles.
Thanks guys, it was a real pleasure

THEY DO ALL CAN TO TRY KEEP YOUR MONEY IF HAVE TO CHANGE/ CANCEL JOURNEY…Booked and paid for train ticket but due to unexpected news of family illness within few days, had to change ticket and destination at much greater cost, so seen ‘amend journey’ but this ONLY if exactly same destination! So even though paid a lot more as further destination can NOT amend so they keep ALL COST of original ticket paid plus paid 3 times more for new journey/ ticket ! ( feel this would be a common reason to change ticket which why they do NOT allow so can KEEP more money from customers!)
So then go to cancel original ticket (and is before journey so in their timeline, and can see I not collected tickets etc) for refund AND provided evidence which they state ‘ SUGGEST’ doctors letter. I provided actual medical notes ( screen shot which doctors practice said would be best, quickest and free way) as proof so what better! BUT NOW SAY MUST BE DOCTORS ACTUAL WRITTEN LETTER! So will NOT refund unused ticket!
Feel their site information is MISLEADING! They would know a doctors private letter is costly and take time so know this would put customers OFF applying for refund, and they keep and profit whilst giving misleading security to travel with them!

I had a problem with my pre booked rail tickets in the app. This led me to panic as travel was for the next day. (it was my mistake) I got in touch with Split My Fare, minutes later I'd had a response. This was really helpful and as a result was able to find my e tickets. Richie at SMF was absolutely brilliant and helpful. I'm really grateful for that. Split My Fare have been brilliant

I use the firm twice a week to book tickets. Literally any time I have a query about a ticket or need a refund they sort it for me straight away.
I can genuinely rely on them and know that my travel will be stress free. Great firm

I ordered & paid for a ticket which was unacknowledged and did not arrive. My son subsequently successfully ordered a ticket. The following day payment was taken from my bank account. No ticket was attached. I have now reported this to Split My Fare twice and requested a refund. I have yet to receive an acknowledgement or a reply or the money.

Ruthless, uncompromising, unreasonable and truly awful people.
Richie was not too bad, but he hid behind a supposed complaints team and the National Rail as a pathetic excuse for not being able to refund my fare by 19mins. 1 hour is not a good time slot, especially when your customers are human!
You (plural) ruined my day. You contributed in a negative way to my life and I hope my money, which is tainted now, because of the suffering you brought, doesn't get you far. Enjoy my free money.
You are hated.
