Such an unprofessional company
Such an unprofessional company. I got a phone call from Tom Whittaker who was asking me to sign up to advertising with the Leeds Rhinos. I asked him to send me an email and I advised I would get back to him if I was interested. He called me the next day and when I advised again that I would get back to him once I had had chance to read the email, he started getting aggressive and hung up! Don't bother with them. He called back to 'apologise' but justified hanging up on me by saying I didn't sound interested!!!

Sporting Ads review.
I run a used car dealership and my experience with Sporting Ads has been great from day one. A very professional team who deliver what they promise and offer a tailor made package and value for money. Anyone in business must always read terms and conditions carefully as any business owner is expected to and is not subject to the same protection as a consumer. Unfortunately this world is full of tyre kickers and complainers who fail to blame their own shortcomings and look to others. To Sporting Ads, keep up the good work.

Beware of the second year Scam:
Beware of the second year Scam:
I had the same experience with Sporting Ad. They do not remind you about the second year renewal and the contract terms force you into second year without informing the clients. I even offered them to pay one month extra for giving them notice by 10 days late but no flexibility because I am caught.
They will not get more clients like this. We always seek approval from our clients for continuing with our services into second year and same should apply to you guys just as a matter of courtesy.

Scammed into paying for a second year.
Pressured into signing, after asking for time to think about it, the director Christian Clayton told me he had lots of people to see so I had to sign there and then but don't worry it'll be great. No problem, but one year on, we continue to be charged, when I call to find out why, I was told if I didn't want to go into the second year, I should have given them notice. Now I must pay 50% of the remainder of the year to cancel.
I signed up for a 1 year contract, specifically season 2017/2018 (spread over two years), but in the small print it reads 'second year price fix is guaranteed unless one month notice is given' and this is to mean two full years. Very deceitful.

I've had the same experience
I've had the same experience. Went for a meeting to advertise at a football ground all was ok and was pushed in signing as he had 30 people to meet that day. Due to my circumstances changing I tried to cancel a few days later. I've been told I've got to pay over £2k to cancel. No art work has been made nothing just a 30 min talk with Christian. None of the terms and conditions were explained just sign it will be great. Any body thinking of advertising with sporting ads please please please don't we are all experiencing this cons man's work don't get done like we have.
Have just woke up to them having taken money from our account after we have told them we will not be advertising with them. Please make sure you change your bank details as it's a pain trying to get the money back from the banks. Learn from our mistakes.
Thank you for you're reply but as your terms and conditions were not not explained at the time and we were unable to read them until we got home, that's a bit different. Hence why we didn't pay a deposit at that time we were told we had time to think about things. As you have charged more that what was agreed you have broken you own contract terms. Please feel free to call me next week to discuss but we will not be paying anymore money.
We now have a crime ref number due what they have done with the bank and changing prices after the paper work was signed plus the vat man as they can work out the vat so they are committing vat fraud.

UTTERLY DISGRACEFUL COMPANY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
I was 'sold' an advertising board at the town's rugby ground. The one I chose was in a prominent position with plenty of foot traffic. A few months later whilst at the ground, my board was nowhere to be seen. After going looking for it, I found it was tucked away out of sight and in a position where no one goes!
Several attempts were made in order to contact Sporting Ads but unsurprisingly, not one email or phone call was responded to. I then cancelled my payments and guess what, they called me! Not at all interested in where my board was, just wanted the money for it. This went on for several months until eventually I got a court order issued against me. The amount was for the full term (24 months) but I signed a 12 month contract. Apparently in the small print, there is a clause that states it will roll on to another 12 months unless terminated in writing after the first 11 months.
This company and it's representatives are miss selling and dishonest and my best advise is to avoid having any dealings with them whatsoever.
SPORTING ADS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE DOING BUSINESS WITH SPORTS CLUBS.
*update* The rugby club have now disassociated themselves with sportingads after a 'number' of complaints.

Scammed
These guys took me to court to get nearly £3000 off me. Christian the guy I met at the football ground told me sign up and it will all be fine and you can do fair instalments. I realised and told them a day or so after I couldn't afford this as my finances are bad and can't afford this and they ignored my pleas then slapped me with a court appearance which my business lost. I had to seize trading and then they sent bailiffs to my home to take nearly £5000 off me personally now I have to prove I had seized trading as this company. When I mentioned sporting adds to my friend as my house was entered by bailiffs. I'm sure the Bailiffs told me they collected for this company before so it shows they must do this often . Don't trust this company.

Terrible service from start to finish
Terrible service from start to finish. We called to say we didn't want to go in the a second year. We were advised that this had to be writing which we did but never received a response. I have just spoke to them and they have told me they never received this. We never had any follow up call to ask where this was. They are rude on the phone and completely dismissive.
When does a one year contract turn into two?
After taking out advertising with this company specifically for one year only. This firm are now hounding my friend for a further payment of one year of unwanted advertising! Has anyone else had the same problem?
