I have found sporting index to be very …honest and fair

I have found sporting index to be very honest and easy to deal with. I have dedicated support and they make every effort to make me feel like a valued customer at all stages whether I was very small for them or inactive over a period of time. They have respectable and likeable staff and will always try to find a resolution for any issues.

Excellent

For a simple punter who enjoys adding a thrill to my sport watching sporting index is perfect. Strap yourself in and enjoy the emotional ride of a betting medium that can make you feel like a shrewdy and an idiot in the same minute.
The customer service and trading team are excellent and the website easy to follow.

Sporting Index is a well established company with a wide client Base. They have dealt promptly and efficiently with me for two decades. Obviously my thoughts are more positive when I am on a winning streak but they have always been fair and professional.

Sporting Index - good operators

Good range of markets, excellent website and friendly customer service people who can make decisions. A while back there was a situation where they could have hidden behind ts&cs and not paid out a bet. They honoured it regardless - more than I expected. Fast payers too. Very light on concessions but a professional, trustworthy outfit.

Professional Service

Excellent customer service & easy access by phone, laptop, tablet & mobile. Also, occasionally, run some great competitions around major sporting events.

Additionally, if you are lucky enough to to win, payments back to your account are always completed in a timely fashion.

I have been a happy customer for well over 10-years!

Spreads must be tighter

Spreads must be tighter. I've moved to spreadex though I don't think that the spreads are any better. Anyone doing any volume is going to struggle to make money, unless very patient. However, can't fault the site itself or te service. It's just that I think they could go further to make it an even playing field, as could all other spread betting Co's.

Long term extremely satisfied customer of SI

I have been a member of Sporting Index since they started more or less twenty plus years ago. I was there when the only way to place a trade was over the phone. I have watched their online website develop to what it is today. An excellent easy platform to use. I have had very few issues over the years but when there has been a problem customer services have dealt with it quickly efficiently and to my satisfaction. I have tried other betting sites but I am always drawn back to Sporting Index.

Positive in the main but lost confidence in their impartiality

I have been using SPIN for over 10 years and have had all but one positive experience, unfortunately I am still bitter about that outcome which resulted in me joining a rival company Spreadex. I feel Sporting Index settled a bet incorrectly going against their own rules and ultimately i have lost confidence in their 'impartiality'

Sporting Index offer the wider variety of bets, their prices are up far earlier which is positive, however Spreadex prices often offer far greater value. For example, player performance bets.

The leading sports spread betting company

Sporting index are the leading sports spread betting firm. You need to have credit to really enjoy the experience and Government regulation makes that a painful process for all - that's not Sporting's fault - but it is worth going through.
This isn't really for the pure sporting enthusiast. It's more for the person who gets bored watching sport and needs something extra to spice it up. If having a fiver on a first goalscorer on your way to the match is the equivalent of half a pint of mild, opening up a sporting index account and going mad in a few of the more exotic markets across a full Saturday's sporting action (and throwing in a bit of Britain's Got Talent for extra measure) is like freebasing crack. Absolutely marvellous ;-)

Good platform, but suspension rules are not clear enough.

Sporting Index does what is says on the tin. The platform is easy to use and clear. It is very difficult to make a mistake in your betting. The problem I have however is their ability to suspend markets, sometimes seemingly at will and for no logical reason. For example T20 cricket betting normally suspends in-play betting after 18 of the 20 overs (so you can't cash-out) - but you only learn this through experience, I can't find on the website where it says that this is their policy. Today in the IPL they suspended this after 17 overs, again very frustrating and if you make a complaint they'll tell you that you should have called the trading floor to settle your bet.

Could do better

You've a great selection of live events and your novelty bets are very imaginative, Your web site is superb. But you're falling down a bit when it comes to the detailed management of your day-to-day operation. For example: you often have arbitrages between your football (goals bananas) and football bananas whenever the 3 matches are the same. That's just sloppy and if I was a big hitter I'd be in like flynn. For example: some bets take an age to settle eg bananas, sometimes days. That's just tying up punters' money that could make you more profit on new bets. For example: your trigger fingers are very, very itchy when it comes to suspending markets, which can remain suspended long after the imagined occurrence has failed to take place. Obviously you need to be cautious but I would say that your closest competitor is better by a factor of 10 in this regard. Besides, any risks you avoid will be more than outweighed by the loss of new bets that could have been placed. Over the years that I've been a customer I've noticed these things getting worse. Some of the spreads on your long-shots are getting a bit stingey - like player goal minutes 1-3 on a defender who never scores - couldn't that be 1-2? Hope all this helps, Tony

As a casual gambler for over a decade I have always used the Sporting Index site. The mobile app is brilliant, and the odd time when I need to speak to someone they are always helpful and knowledgeable.

Spread betting is great fun, and Sporting Index always enable me to enjoy a game whatever the result.

Very easy to deal with

Very easy to deal with, excellent website. Sometimes they could do with a personal touch over the strict black and white rules, but generally all very easy to deal with.
