Bought to replace worn out M3 Gloves

My son wanted these gloves to replace the Maverik M3s that he has been wearing. We tried these in a 12 first, but they were a little small (5’6 12 year old) so we reordered a 13. This pair was a little bit big, but I think they will fit perfectly by next season. He likes the extra thumb protection in the M4 compared to the M3. Super fast shipping! Even with reordering the new size he still got them in time for his weekend lax tournament. Customer service was very friendly & helpful with the return process.

I have no idea why this company has …

I have no idea why this company has only 1 star on this review site when other sites showed very different reviews.
However it made me nervous about the company nevertheless, so I called them. I got an answer immediately and the CS rep appeared to be in this country and an actual employee of SportStop. Good sign.
We discussed their poor ratings on Trust Pilot - mostly relating to items being delivered late, or being out of stock. The CS rep wasn't aware of the poor reviews on the web.
I decided to give SportStop a chance and ordered a lacrosse rebounder.
I received an email that my order had been received, then another indicating that it had been processed, followed by a UPS email that it had been delivered It arrived before the stated ship date and the packaging was in good shape.
The transaction was flawless, so 5 stars from me.
BTW, I have absolutely no affiliation with this company - I just thought that the public should be aware that the reviews here completely contradict my experience.

I ordered Box LAX rib pads for my son. They didn't arrive after two weeks. My son was playing games and getting badly hurt. I emailed customer service (I could not get through on the phone) and explained that we could not buy these pads locally and could they quick ship a replacement so he would not get hurt in another game. Nothing happened. I had to call them and they did not stand behind the order and said I would have to wait for an investigation w/ UPS that could take a LONG time. If they had contacted me sooner I could have ordered from another website regular shipping, but because of their non-response I had to pay an extra $32 to overnight from another site.

Will not stand behind return policy

Bought a pair of gloves, tried them on and they did not fit, so we sent them back and they charged a restocking fee. The item was new and unused. Do not shop here you will not get a full refund if you need to return it.

Great, I had a last minute change, and they worked it out

I had placed an order one evening, then realized I needed more of the item, but didn't want to pay for shipping twice. I submitted a second order including all that I needed, hoping I could cancel the first order. I sent an email knowing they were closed, but hoping they would catch it before first order went out. They did, it was much appreciated.

I've had positive experiences in the past as well.

Excellent service, product & price

I just ordered a lacrosse starter kit for my 6 year old son. The size recommendations and overall value of the package were excellent. Hopefully my son shows the same interest in the sport as he does the helmet ( a little different than the one used in the 80's and early 90's).
