I would give this company and their affiliate Spring Financial a 0 star if I could. This was a Birthday gift from my husband gone horribly wrong. Here's all the reasons why you should NOT get or trust the Bloom app or Spring Financial.
1. They offered a free 7 day trial, however I was unable to connect one of my banks and therefore missed the trial date and I never heard back from customer service (started contacting them Jan 3 2026)
2. As the weeks continued, my bank was still not connecting. Upon requesting a refund (Feb 12 2026), they offered a possible solution which did in fact end up working (Feb 12) (after being unable to use the app for several weeks and having paid for the year).
3. Then the next problem - another bank account kept disconnecting and I'd have to connect it every time I tried to use the app, which is a big hassle. At this stage, I requested to proceed with the refund (March 19) given all of these issues and lack of customer service.
4. It's been months since I requested a refund. I have been playing phone tag and connecting with customer service agents through Spring Financial (I still don't understand why it's with another company) who are unable to assist me. I escalated to speak to a supervisor 2 weeks ago. He called me once, left a voicemail saying he'd call again. The supervisor gave me the general customer service number, not a direct line so I can't reach him, I am always put on hold, have to give a call back number and a customer service agent calls me and the cycle continues with NO solution and no refund and no access to the supervisor. even after speaking to a customer service agent AGAIN requesting him specifically to call me back. This whole process of issues started on Jan 3, it is now April 28. This is unacceptable.
More functional issues with the app:
5. There are no alerts for when you're reaching close to or spending over your budget
6. There is no option for the app to recognize joint/shared accounts with other people (my spouse)
7. There is NO contact number for customer service. Via email, bloom finally had someone from Spring Financial call me. Bloom does not have a proper website and in emailing with customer service, it takes several days to weeks to hear back and needing to send multiple follow-ups to hear back.
This is truly the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. DO NOT PURCHASE.
If the supervisor of Spring Financial is reading this, PLEASE CALL ME BACK!!!

Absolutely scam!!! I said I’m going to review the contract first and call you back guys if I wanted to proceed and yet here I am I have a contract and has my initials in which I did not signed and agreed! Called the company back to cancel it before I get debited from my account and it takes forever until now no one answered the phone! Called 7 times already and still no call back. Called the number who called me earlier to cancel it and they transferred to the number that no one picks up the call!!! This cause so much stress, their tactics is to delay your call hoping that you might forget to call them again. Spring financial, this is not you supposed how to do business!!! Maybe serve better your potential client and do not fraud them!!!!

I applied online for a personal loan, I than cancelled becuase I wanted to explore other options after reading reviews on Spring Financial. I than started receiving text messages from a 6 digit number [888222]. After texting for a bit when they said they needed to pull a hard credit check. I decided not to go with them and keep exploring my other options. I text back "I want to cancel my application". I kept getting text messages which I deleted, but then I started receiving texts from (431) 304-2384. I then text in bold "STOP CALLING ME. STOP TEXTING ME OR I WILL LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW ON GOOGLE!!". That only lasted one day. If you block one number, they will contact you from a different number. Either through text or calling.
